1- Merry´s dream
Marry sat in her small apartment, surrounded by the remnants of her failed marriage. The walls seemed to close in on her as she reflected on the shattered dreams and broken promises. The weight of it all crushed her spirit, leaving her yearning for an escape from the pain.
With trembling hands, she picked up her phone and scrolled through her contacts. Her fingers lingered on the name of her best friend, Emma. They had always been each other's support system, and now, more than ever, Marry needed her friend's solace.
She hesitated for a moment, her mind consumed with doubts and uncertainties. Could she really leave everything behind and embark on a solo adventure? But deep down, she knew that a change of scenery was exactly what she needed to heal her wounded heart.
Taking a deep breath, Marry dialed Emma's number. After a few rings, her friend's voice filled her ears. "Hey, Marry! What's up?" Emma's voice was cheerful, oblivious to the storm raging within Marry's soul.
Unable to hold back her emotions, Marry's voice quivered as she spoke. "Emma, I... I need to get away. I can't stay here anymore. The pain of my divorce is suffocating me."
Emma's voice softened with empathy. "Oh, Marry, I'm so sorry. You know I'm here for you. Maybe a vacation would do you good. You deserve some time to heal."
A flicker of hope ignited within Marry. She knew Emma was right. It was time for her to reclaim her life and find herself again. "You're right, Emma. I need a fresh start, even if it's just for a little while. I've been dreaming of going to Mykonos for years. It's time to make that dream a reality."
Emma's excitement was palpable through the phone. "That sounds amazing, Marry! A little sun, sea, and relaxation will work wonders for you. We can even get back in touch with our inner yoga goddesses. You know how much yoga helped us through tough times."
A smile tugged at the corners of Marry's lips as she pictured herself on the picturesque island, practicing yoga on the golden beaches at sunrise. The idea brought her a glimmer of peace and an energy she had long forgotten.
As they continued to plan the details of their trip, Marry couldn't shake off the feeling that this journey would be more than just a getaway. Deep down, she sensed that Mykonos held something extraordinary waiting for her, something that would forever change her life.
Unbeknownst to Marry, across the world, Franco also sought solace in the allure of Greece. The betrayal and heartbreak inflicted by his ex-girlfriend, Beatriz, gnawed at his soul. The pain was intensified by the fact that his best friend, Andrew, had swiftly stepped in to claim Beatriz as his own.
Franco couldn't bear the sight of their newfound love. The emptiness and desolation he felt pushed him to embark on a journey to find peace amidst the ancient ruins that Greece had to offer. Perhaps there, he could mend his broken heart.
The plane ride to Greece felt longer than it actually was, the anticipation mingling with the turbulence of his emotions. He knew he needed to find his own sense of balance and healing, just as Marry did. Little did he know, their paths were fated to intersect on the shores of Mykonos.
Under the warm summer sun, as both Marry and Franco wandered the ancient temple of Apollo, they couldn't help but be captivated by the majestic beauty and rich history surrounding them. It was in that serendipitous moment that their eyes met, and a spark ignited between them.
The magnetic pull between Marry and Franco was instant and undeniable. They were drawn together, like two lost souls finding solace in the presence of each other. It was an inexplicable connection, like their individual journeys had led them to this singular point in time. Marry walks, suddenly to him, but in that moment some kind of light and joy covers her heart and She wakes up.
