Chapter 4
I couldn't believe it when Alpha Conrad asked me which two I liked. I was completely taken aback and assumed he was talking about his two sons. I stumbled over my words, trying to come up with an answer.
"No, not my boys. I'm talking about the food we're ordering here. What two dishes do you like?" he chuckled, clarifying the question.
My face turned red with embarrassment as I tried to think of my favorite dishes. Eventually, I settled on a spicy curry dish and a traditional beef stew.
"I choose this one, sir," I said, mustering a smile.
"Call me Dad, okay?" he replied with a warm smile.
"O-Okay, dad," I stammered, feeling a mix of nervousness and unfamiliarity.
Alpha Conrad nodded and smiled, proceeding to order the two dishes. He emphasized the importance of food in life and how it should be enjoyed with good company, like ours.
Once we finished our meal, Alpha Conrad expressed his gratitude for my company and gave me a heartfelt hug.
"Don't be scared. Just feel at home, okay?" he reassured me with a warm smile.
It was difficult for me to face him, knowing that my father had borrowed money from him. I had never met Alpha Conrad before, and calling him Dad made me uncomfortable. I tried to focus on my food, but his words kept intruding on my thoughts.
"I'm so excited to get to know my son better," he said, beaming at me.
Confused, I asked, "What do you mean, sir?"
"Nevermind," he replied, brushing off the question.
"I love my boys so much and I want them to learn important life lessons," he added.
"I told you to call me Dad," he reminded me, flashing a warm smile.
Suddenly, his phone rang and he answered it, his expression turning serious. He spoke quietly and abruptly ended the call before getting up from the table.
"I'm sorry, something urgent came up and I have to leave," he explained.
I nodded, watching as he quickly put on his coat and grabbed his briefcase. He seemed like he wanted to say something more, but instead, he gave me a half-smile and hurriedly left the restaurant.
"Let's go," he said, urging me to follow him.
Upon arriving at the grand mansion, my eyes locked with Zeus, the son of Alpha Conrad. His intense gaze sent shivers down my spine, making me feel uneasy. It was evident that he was taken aback by my transformed appearance. His demeanor seemed almost unhinged, causing my heart to race in response. In an attempt to maintain composure, I averted my gaze, hoping to find solace in calmness.
"What a captivating being," he sneered.
"Son, I must depart. Amarah, please take care of my sons," commanded Alpha Conrad.
"But Sir..."
Without paying any heed to my words, Alpha left the mansion, leaving me behind. I noticed an unfamiliar expression on Zeus's face, one that could only be described as maniacal.
"Hey! Talk to me, darling," he uttered, a smile playing on his lips.
I hurriedly tried to distance myself from him, but he persisted, gripping my arms firmly. Swiftly, I turned around and pushed him away, warning him that I would inform his father if he continued to disrespect me.
"Stay away from me!" I raised my voice, asserting myself.
"What did you say?!" he questioned, his forehead creasing.
"Remember what your father said? You cannot have anything from me until your birthday arrives," I reminded him.
"Oh, don't you desire me?" he smirked.
"Your father has made it clear that there will be consequences if you break the rules. You won't like it," I threatened.
"What did he say?" he inquired, curiosity evident in his voice.
Zeus's expression shifted from maniacal to one of shock and fear.
"Well, go ahead and find out," I smiled at him.
Instantly, he took a step back, apologizing and pleading with me not to inform his father. Accepting his apology, I reminded him to show more respect in the future.
"Alright, you win. I'm sorry," he apologized.
I shook my head in disbelief at Zeus's words. He had just confessed his excitement about 'devirginizing' me on his upcoming birthday.
"I can't wait to savor you, darling," he smirked.
However, my thoughts soon drifted to his brother, William. I couldn't help but search for him, wondering how he would react to my presence. The way he had always treated me with arrogance, as if I were invisible, had always fueled my determination.
Zeus, the mighty ruler of the gods, had made a request that sent shivers down my spine. He wanted me to give up my virginity on his birthday, a proposition that left me feeling uneasy. Thoughts of William, the one who held a special place in my heart, flooded my mind.
"Can't you just let me live in peace, sir?" I pleaded, hoping for a glimmer of understanding.
"Never," he chuckled, playfully pinching my cheeks.
As soon as Zeus departed from the house, I hurriedly made my way upstairs to my room. Just as I was about to open the door, a sight caught my eye. A stunning woman entered William's room, arousing my curiosity. Intrigued, I couldn't resist the urge to peek inside when I noticed the door slightly ajar.
"Who is she?" I whispered to myself, my curiosity piqued.
My heart sank as I witnessed them sharing a passionate kiss. A sharp pain pierced through my chest, leaving me breathless. Could it be that he was the one I had fallen for? I questioned myself, torn between hope and despair.
"No!" I contradicted, trying to convince myself otherwise.
I reminded myself of his arrogance and the harsh reality that I was nothing more than a pawn in my father's debt. Merely a gift to be used by William and his brother. The weight of it all made me long to disappear, to escape from this cruel fate. Quietly, I retreated to my room, tears streaming down my face.
"When will I be free from my father's debt? How long must I endure this?" I silently pleaded.
Suddenly, a knock on my door startled me. Opening it, I was met with Zeus, a mischievous smirk playing on his lips.
"You have a task to fulfill," he declared, his voice dripping with authority.
To my surprise, he informed me that I was to prepare dinner for him. Confusion washed over me, as I had believed my only purpose was to repay my father's debt, not to serve Zeus and his family.
"But I don't know how to cook," I protested, desperately seeking an alternative.
"If you refuse to cook for me, then I shall devour you instead," he taunted, a sinister smile creeping across his face.
"Please, show some kindness," I implored, maintaining my composure.
Zeus further insulted me by questioning my virtue,
