CHAPTER 7

Zary was rummaging through her wardrobe to find something for the sinuously hot robot in her living room to wear. She would be upfront and honest about this and admit that the garment was more for her sanity rather than his modesty. She badly needed to cover him up or she would not be able to think properly at all around him.

The image of his expression just a while ago was still playing about in her mind, haunting her like a little ghost. She kept on telling herself that his expression of betrayal could not be due to her comment and must have been programmed in him too! He was a robot, right? Therefore, things like these should be programmable into his central control system or something like that. Right? She was still trying to convince herself when she finally spied the things she had been looking for at the corners of her eyes.

“There you are!” Finally, she spotted the large hoodie with a pair of large pants folded and put to the side of her large walk-in closet. She had bought these pair of furry outfits last winter but mistakenly ordered the wrong size. That had not stopped her from wearing it at all, since she was actually quite fond of oversized and cozy clothes during winter.

“Wear this.” she told Sam once she was back in the living room. She quickly held out the clothes she had rolled into a bundle and waited for him to take it, her eyes evading looking at the very object that had prompted her to bring him these clothes in the first place.

The handsome robot stared at it for a moment before taking it. When he spread the hoodie, Zary’s lips gaped at the look of disapproval and disdain that had flashed very clearly across his face. She could almost hear him say ‘I would rather stay naked my whole life than wear this inelegant outfit!’ with the scorn that was flashing in his eyes.

Suspicion rose within her again. She just could not help it because how the hell would a robot have expressions that were so refined and subtle like these?! But then again, Zary reminded herself what she had done a while ago. She had shut him down and he did not breathe for a whole ten minutes!

That reminder made her relax somehow.

“What’s wrong? Don’t tell me your creator programmed you to become one hell of a picky robot?” She could not help but chuckle at the idea that had just came out of her mouth. A picky robot… that was funny.

She was so busy being amused and giggling away at that thought that she did not notice Sam was staring at her face. But when she cleared her throat and looked back at him, Sam quickly turned his attention back to the ugly hoodie in his hand.

He wore the same look of disapproval, but he eventually moved and began putting on the clothes.

Zary almost whistled when he was done dressing up. The large fluffy outfit with a bear’s ear on the top of its hood was perfect for him. She felt a cute fluffy arrow stab at her heart as she looked at the godly and sizzling hot robot now turned into a… fluffy… giant bear.

“Wow… you look so adorable. It’s like you have been turned into a giant teddy bear.” She walked around him, fascinated at how this one outfit made a 180-degree turn in his image.

Somehow, him, looking like this made her even more relaxed. Maybe because he looked a bit more human now that all his out-of-this world perfection, except his face and eyes, were covered.

And what amused her the most was the fact that he still had that displeased look on his face as he looked down and viewed himself.

“Don’t tell me you are programmed to dislike clothing… ??” She questioned, still enjoying the sight of him in this new outfit.

“I want to always look good in my master’s eyes. So please dress me well.” Was all he said, causing Zary to press her lips tight together to stop another wide grin from breaking out on her face.

“But this really looks good on you.” She tried to persuade him as she truly felt he looked super cute in it.

He blinked then cocked his head like he just could not understand why she even thought that this outfit looked good on him.

While in the shower, Zary’s thoughts were all revolving around him.

He was unexpectedly adorable with that outfit on. No one would ever think that he was a sex robot while wearing that. He had also made her smile without even trying to. And she was not one bit scared of him. But…

She could not be spending whatever she had of her remaining life stuck with a sex robot in her house… she wanted to go out and go on a vacation. Somewhere far from all these realities that clung onto her life. She wanted to go somewhere that was quiet, exotic and blissful. She needed a companion that she would not need to worry about. Instead, it would be better if that companion was the one worrying over her and taking care of her. Yes! That is how it should be.

Therefore, she needed to return Sam as soon as possible and exchange him for someone else. That was the logical thing she must do.

“I need you to tell me the address of the company who sent you, Sam.” Zary asked him as they sat on the sofa.

He stared at her, but Zary did not meet his gaze this time. She did not want to see anymore expressions on his face that might haunt her.

“I’m sorry, but I do not know.” He replied.

“Don’t you remember anything? Anyone? Maybe a name?”

“There’s only one person I know, Master.” His reply made her excited and her heartrate sped up. Finally!

Zary swiftly lifted her gaze and turned it to him.

“You know their names, right? Tell me the name, Sam. Just one name would do.” She looked at him with anticipation. This would definitely help her find the company that made him.

“Zary.” He replied as he held her gaze and Zary blinked, speechless. WHAT?!!
