chapter 2

"Oh, god," Sonia's exasperated voice echoed through the room. "It's 9 a.m. again, and I'm running late for college," she muttered to herself in a blend of frustration and disbelief. Dismissing her initial shock, she reluctantly emerged from the comfort of her bed and groggily ambled toward the beckoning bathroom. A swift splash of water on her face served as a rude awakening, and as the fog of sleep lifted, Sonia donned a crisp, white suit, determined to salvage whatever remained of the morning. Descending the stairs with purpose, she entered the familial hubbub that was the dining area. There, her mother, a vision of maternal grace, stood by the table, orchestrating a symphony of breakfast preparations. The tantalizing aroma of morning sustenance wafted through the air, momentarily distracting Sonia from her time-induced predicament.

Good morning, beautifull daughter. So you woke up, but very late as usual. Huh, mom, I am sorry for saying that. Sonia sat at the table and smiled at her mom. After sitting at the table, she asked what you made for breakfast. Cheese sandwich, white sauce pasta alone with orange juice, and tea.

Hearing this, Sonia smiled widely and started to eat her breakfast. While eating, she asked mom where dad and brother were. Your dad went to his office already, and your brother is sleeping. Hearing this, Sonia started to laugh loudly and said,It's not possible. Bhai can’t sleep in n this. can bet he already went to his office. You didn't know this.

Kim rolls her eyes and says,It's not possible. Yesterday night he came late because he was doing some meetings. That’s why he is still sleeping. Hearing this, Sonia narrows her eyes and says, "I can bet on that Bhai is not at home.” Okay, if you are so sure about this, then let's make a bet.

If Denial right now is in his room, then from tomorrow onwards you will get up earlier and make breakfast for us. Sonia nobbled her head and said, "Okay, and if Bhai is not at home right now, then you will give me lots of money for shopping. “Deal done,” said Kim. Ok, then lets go, and we will see with our own eyes whether Bhai is sleeping or not.

Kim and Sonia get up from their respective chairs and start to walk towards the denial room. Within a few minutes, they reach the outside denial room. Both of them look at each other before entering, and Kim says, Do not forget your promise. Sonia smiles and d says, won’t mom you also don’t forget our deal. Kim takes a deep breath and enters the denial room. When they enter, they see one servant standing near his bed. Both his mother and daughter look at him, and Kim asks, Where is denial? Mam sir went to his office early this morning; he has some important breakfast meetings. That’s why

Listing to this, Kim's eyes get wide, and Sonia starts to laugh loudly. Kim looks at Sonia and says, “What the hell?" Why are you laughing? Saying that she started to walk out of the denial room, while laughing, Sonia also follows her mom and says, Wait for me. Both of them went downstairs, and Sonia said, “Give me money,” saying that she started to laugh loudly.

Shut up, saying that Kim went to her room. Sonia went to her mom’s room and saw Kim sitting in the bed, and her mood was hell upset. Sonia went towards her and sat near Kim. She looked at her and asked why she was upset. Because you lost the bed? Kinza, who was hell-eyed, looks into Sonia’s eyes and says, No, not because I lost the bed; it's because of my son.

kim lamented the life her daughter led. "Sonia denial never stays at home," she sighed, her voice heavy with concern. "Always works, and only works. I don’t even remember the last time he smiled or lived her life for herself."

Sonia, ever the silent observer, listened with a somber nod. Yet within her, a spark ignited a devious glimmer that dared to challenge the monotony of their existence. With a sudden turn, she fixed her gaze upon Kinza, her confidante in this clandestine moment.

"I have an idea," Sonia declared, her eyes alight with mischief. "A beautiful idea." Kinza, intrigued yet wary, pressed for details. With a devilish grin, Sonia revealed her plan: "Let's get him married to someone."

Kinza recoiled in shock, her disbelief echoing through the room. Sonia's mother, catching wind of the scheme, erupted in protest. "What?" she exclaimed, her voice a mixture of incredulity and panic. And yet, in that single moment, the seeds of rebellion had been sown, promising to disrupt the stagnant rhythm of their lives with the unpredictable melody of love.
