♥ Chapter 3 ♥
08:50 - Volkov Mansion - Russia.
Friday.
Scarlett Wilson.
I was looking everywhere in this huge corridor, I noticed some photos on the walls, and the strangest thing was that I couldn't find any of their photos. That's very strange.
- Jessica. - I draw your attention. - Why do you work here? - I'm really curious.
Because it's very strange for someone to want to work for these people.
She seemed to think, but then she started talking.
- I had been kidnapped on my way home. The next thing I knew, I was in a house of prostitution. - I widened my eyes in shock.
My goodness.
- That is a horrible place to live. Fortunately or unfortunately, the place was invaded by the bosses' men, who took all the women and young people and got us out. At first I thought they were going to sell us, but they ended up giving us jobs, a house and a new life.
So they're not that cruel? So why did they threaten to take me to the brothel? I'm one hundred percent sure they're horrible, yes.
But what are they? Traffickers?
-
One question, what are they? - She looked at me for a few seconds and then turned away.
-
Russian mafia bosses.
Holy shit!!!! Mafiosi? I never thought that far ahead! I thought they might be murderers, drug dealers, black marketeers, but mobsters? I'm so fucked! Russell said I couldn't escape, and indeed I can't.
She laughed a little.
- I had the same reaction, but they're not that bad. - Believe me.
She turned left and I spotted a staircase, I think we spent about five minutes just walking down this huge corridor. We go down the steps and I take a closer look at the living room, it's very beautiful and quite huge.
There are two huge sofas and a table in the center, there's even a bar.
- This way. - I followed her without looking back.
I took a deep breath and let it out slowly, I would have liked to stay in the bedroom. We walked a little further and soon stopped at a gray door, she pushed it open and I saw the two of them sitting around the table.
-
You're late. - Russell's cold voice sent shivers of fear down my skin.
-
I'm sorry, sir. It was my fault," I looked at Jessica in shock.
What the fuck is she talking about? What do you mean it was her fault?
- It wasn't her fault. - I speak confidently, and the three of them look at me. - It's actually my fault, I started talking to her and that made us both late. I'm really sorry.
Holy shit! I managed to speak without stuttering. But my hands are shaking too much.
- Get out. - Bóris said coldly.
Is he talking to me?
Jessica quickly bowed her head and left the dining room, leaving us alone.
Come back Jessica!
- You're a very interesting girl. - Russell said suddenly.
I didn't understand.
He looked me up and down.
- First woman who chooses to wear more.... Let's say casual.
It makes me cringe to remember that garment.
-
I'm sorry. - He laughed a little.
-
Sorry for what? For not wearing it? - I agree. - And did you like that outfit?
No! Definitely not!
-
I want you to be honest. - He added.
-
"No." I answered in a low tone.
-
"No what?" I swallowed my saliva in nervousness.
-
"I didn't like that outfit.
-
And why didn't you like it?" He rested the back of his hand on his chin and looked at me intensely.
I couldn't face him and looked away.
-
Because that outfit is too.... vulgar. I wouldn't feel right wearing that.
-
All right, sit down to eat. I guess you're hungry, since you didn't eat anything yesterday, since you fell asleep in the car and only woke up now.
I put my head down.
-
I'm sorry. - I heard a snort from Bóris.
-
I'm already getting annoyed with you apologizing for everything all the time. Shut up and eat, before I bend you over my knees and slap your pretty little ass. - I felt my face heat up with shame.
I walked a little quickly and chose to sit next to Russell.
-
Did you like your room? - Russell asked, after taking a sip of his coffee.
-
My room?
So that's my place?
- Yes, your room. You're our wife now, and because of that you'll get the best things. - He answered calmly. - Now eat.
I chose a piece of toast and a small tapioca, even though I didn't eat anything yesterday, I don't feel hungry right now. Since I didn't get much food in that house, my body got used to it.
-
Why so little food? - Bóris asked when he saw my plate.
-
I don't feel very hungry in the morning. - They both looked at me strangely.
-
You must be hungry, since you didn't eat anything last night. - Russell said very seriously.
I looked down at my plate and, unable to contain myself, ended up clutching my spoon tightly.
-
I'm telling you the truth, I don't really feel very hungry in the morning. Hunger only comes at lunch or dinner. - I say softly.
-
Very well. I hope you eat more than that at lunchtime. - Bóris spoke coldly, but his gaze on me seemed to know that I was hiding something.
Of course they must know something, they're mafia bosses, they certainly know when someone is lying.
I start to eat quietly, I help myself to an orange juice, this is very good.
-
Anyway, so you didn't like that kind of outfit, did you? - Russell asked suddenly.
-
Yes." I looked at him uncomprehendingly.
-
"Since we're busy today, you're going with Jessica to the mall to buy some new clothes.
I stared at him in surprise.
- "What? "No." I quickly shook my head. - You don't need to spend things on me. - I put my head down.
Out of nowhere, my chin was grabbed and I was forced to look into Russell's cold eyes.
- I'll repeat it just once. You're our wife now, and what we spend on you now, we get back twice as much later. So just shut up and let us.... Um, maybe spoil you. - He gave me a long kiss and sat up straight in his chair again.
I still found myself static in my seat. How could this man be like that? I decided to pay attention to my plate and eat again in silence.
