Chapter 1. First date
"You are insane. A blind date is not something I want to do!"
The 25-year-old Sarah Magdalena pulled a stack of books out of her backpack and placed them on the table. She strolled by her companion who was perched on the bed's edge. Subsequently, Lucy stood up and went to her pal.
"Go ahead, please. Sar... I have everything set up. At the very least, you ought to attempt opening your heart to someone on a date. "Avoid becoming very reticent, it is not healthy," Lucy prodded gently before shutting the book Sarah was reading.
Sarah inhaled deeply, her closest friend had frequently invited her out on a date. On university and off, Lucy frequently introduces Sarah to her male acquaintances. Even though Sarah had a scholarship, she consistently declined, stating that she preferred to put her education first and work to pay for further tuition.
"Lucy, I informed you. I can't-,"
Sarah was speaking when her buddy cut her off before she could continue. "For the time being, things are this way, and I do not want to know why. You owe me money for everything, even if you do not want to, because I also need it. Please make an effort to comprehend me."
"Lucy, you have the heart; I do not have any money." Sarah's best buddy met her gaze with beseeching eyes.
"So just take me up on my offer. I shall then relieve you. You can pay whenever you like."
Lucy moved over to the bed and took a seat, idly playing on her phone as she waited for Sarah to respond.
"Sarah, I am not messing around; my goal is to help you with your money issues,"
Indeed. Indeed. "I agree to your offer," Sarah responded.
While Sarah simply cast a disappointed glance to her buddy, Lucy grinned contentedly.
Sarah did not believe Lucy was capable of such cruelty. Despite the fact that her closest friend was aware that Sarah had taken out a loan to pay for her mother's leukemia treatment.
Would that the mother had not placed a life-or-death wager. He would never dare take out a big loan from Lucy. Sarah gave her mother every effort to help her heal.
"Yes. I will see him tonight," a nervous Sarah murmured.
When Lucy heard that Sarah would comply with his instructions, she leaped from bed to give Sarah a hug. "That concludes it!" Lucy gave a happy scream and planted a kiss on her best friend's face. Lucy gave Sarah a strained smile as she hugged her.
Even though Lucy was unaware of the dangers Sarah would eventually face, her true motivations were to help her friend get out of financial difficulties.
Because Lucy believed that Sarah, a lovely, caring, and brilliant woman, did not deserve a challenging life, Lucy went out and found Sarah a millionaire boyfriend. Because Lucy was born into a wealthy family, it was quite easy for her to find a partner who fit her criteria.
"Obviously. Why did Lucy decide to wear a clothing so exposed? "It is really cold," complained Sarah as she made her way to the restaurant where she was going on a date with an unknown man.
Sarah was stunning, and the clothes she was wearing truly fit her figure. Simply said, Selena is more of a casual dresser and is not used to showing off her curves in gowns. Sarah knew Lucy well and knew that her best friend disliked conflict, so she was unable to refuse.
Sarah finally showed up early. The girl waited patiently for her date, the male.
After fifteen minutes, a few males abruptly approached the table where Sarah was seated. A handsome man was walking behind four men dressed in black uniforms.
Sarah was taken aback by the handsome Rayendra Herlambang as soon as he sat down in front of her.
"Why do you have that kind of stare at me? Is there a problem?"
"A-ah, no, no." Sarah moved her eyes to something else. The girl was starting to get apprehensive, especially since Rayen had arrived with four bodyguards who were seated nearby.
"Are they bothering you?"
It seemed as though Rayen understood every thought he had. Sarah mustered a grin as she turned to face Rayen. "Nah, not at all bothered,"
As the girl struggled to get over her anxiety, Sarah tried to appear normal. She realized that the man before her was not just any old man. Based on how he looked,It would be evident to all that this man is extremely wealthy.
His hair is nicely combed, his face is very white and clean, and the black suit appears attractive. He said the dude smelt nice and was really beautiful.
You are still in college, then? When was the two of them eating the food that was given, Rayen inquired? When the man began to inquire about it, Sarang gave a firm nod and shown excitement. Indeed. I am a college student still."
"I am still a college student. Daring enough to go on this date," Rayen replied with a sly, enigmatic smile.
Sarah found Rayen's question to be rather startling. But Rayen's question did not insult the girl. In all honesty, Sarah admitted, "My friend compelled me to." Rayen was taken aback, of course, to hear Sarah's story. The attractive man was invisible because he was hiding his expression.
"So, we are identical." Kali Rayen was truthful as well. Sarah's eyes perfectly enlarged as she noticed the man staring at her. "Really?" Rayen gave a confident nod.
Sarah felt relieved, for whatever reason, by what Rayen stated. He grinned and appeared content.
A charming grin so charming that it enchants men into falling in love. However, that did not apply to Rayen instead, the man back Consume the meal.
"All right, so we are done after this, huh? We are meeting for the first and last time, really." Sarah reaffirmed.
"That varies. What can I do if fate catches us again?" Rayen shrugged his shoulders and spoke.
Indeed. Furthermore, mankind cannot resist fate, is that correct? Sarah grinned.
"Since you are older than I am, I will just refer to you as 'Brother'."
"Anyhow. A call does not actually bother me."
They chatted until late in the evening. Sarah and Rayen discussed a wide range of topics. But in the hours that had passed, Sarah's speech had taken precedence over Rayen's. Sarah is expressing interest in a product developed by the Rayen Company at this moment.

"Brother, I truly enjoy the flour that your company sells. Separately Beyond the low cost, there is no longer any question about the quality."
Sarah grinned once again. Selena attempted to lighten the mood despite Rayen's seeming frigid demeanor.
Rayen just said, "Yes, that is it." Selena continues to display her kind demeanor. Even though Rayen said nothing, he would frequently smile at him.
This was very unusual for Rayen. His attitude was unbearable, especially considering that it was their first meeting. After giving Sarah such a close examination, Sarah began to speak once more. "You mentioned earlier that you were employed by Bestari Abadi, correct? Eating ice cream, Sarah added, "To be honest, it greatly helped me when cooking cakes for my younger brothers at the orphanage or during practical tests on university."
The pair of them.
Yes, it is my company's objective. to make it simpler for customers to purchase our goods at reasonable costs while maintaining a high standard of quality." Rayen consumed his ice cream, vanilla.
Sarah gave a nod of approval. "And I am among the customers who finds that enjoyable." Sarah gave a small laugh.
"You know, I never thought Brother Rayen would be the CEO of that company."
Sarah did not appear to alter her opinion as she glanced at Rayen. The man did not even slightly tilt his head; he kept staring straight ahead.
He said nonchalantly, "If you do not believe it, please come to my office."
"Brother, it is not really like that. I think so. And why would I visit Brother Rayen's office anyway? Alright, we are done after this."
Rayen stopped reacting to what Sarah had said. Speaking with talkative people does demand extra patience. It felt like a pretty dull chat. Sarah, on the other hand, continued to act normally and did not react excessively.
"Pardon me, sir. You have got what you requested." Rayen was given a blue paper bag by a member of his bodyguard. And with that, the man took it instantly and gave a slight nod. "Yes, I am grateful. Thank you."
Sarah appeared preoccupied with her observation of some teenagers singing in the park. The person with hazel eyes grinned. He was envious of them as they seemed to be having more fun at the park with their friends than Sarah's teenage years had. Sarah was required to labor at the shop till evening every night after school. Consequently, he had little free time during his adolescence.
Unaware that Sarah was still having trouble with flashbacks, Rayen moved in closer until he was just an inch away from her body. Sarah froze as a warm hug enveloped her body. Her face was an inch from Rayen's when she felt her breath catch.
"What do you want, Brother Rayen?" Sarah went into a panic.
