Chapter 5. Sarah Upgraded Position
"Good morning, Madam," I said to one of Rayen's personal assistants. To put it another way, he was in the kitchen, cooking.
I smiled and nodded at her. "My beloved aunt, good morning. Are you getting ready for breakfast? I asked him when he was with Bi Sumi, who looked to be in her fifties. I said, "It smells absolutely nice." "Yes, sir. The young master is a serious fried rice connoisseur. Mrs. Sumi claims that he requests fried rice every morning if there is not a meeting.
"Is it correct to state that our tastes are comparable?" I smiled again, happy that we had similar tastes in eating.
"Do you like fried rice too, Madam?" As I watched the fried rice finish cooking, Bi Sumi asked. I nodded in response to Bi Sumi's question.
"Yes, Bi. Sure, Bi, I will help you with the cooking.
My hands are itchy and I want to cook. Since I was a young child, I have always helped Mrs. Marni prepare meals for the children there. I occasionally—quite frequently—make my own.
Rayen has tried some of my cuisine on multiple times and says it tastes really good.
I was still shocked to find Rayen standing next me. My brief look of surprise disappeared as Rayen's hand ran over my head. I blinked, as if I was still astonished by my husband's thoughtful actions this morning.
"Brother, thank you so much." I looked at Rayen and it seemed like he was nodding his head. As opposed to Rayen, who had not previously smiled much. My husband, however, had a very different appearance this morning; he was beaming, although a little faintly. I think that is plenty for him. It seems that Rayen is starting to recognize me.
I flashed my teeth with a happy smile. I strive to be a respectable wife, even though my face looks pretty happy, even though the events of last night are still on my mind. I want to try not to worry about things that make me feel bad too much.
I would prefer to put Rayen's erratic behavior aside and concentrate on doing what makes my heart sing rather than focusing on the anguish.
"What are you doing?" Rayen asked me when he saw me in the backyard. My clothes were a little stained from being on the ground.
"Well, this is it. After I have done feeding the rabbit, I have only invited him to play. It is quite dirty.
Rayen ultimately exhaled deeply a few times and added, "Now hurry up and take a shower." Next, get ready. Tonight, we are traveling to Switzerland."
"What? Switzerland? This evening?" My eyes were perfectly round.
Rayen nodded. Yes, we shall take a vacation there.
"Hey, how are my academics going?"
"Do not worry, I have got you covered."
Sarah did not want to go, but she was powerless to resist it all. But in the end, Sarah's nod addressed every issue. Soon afterward, Rayen had already left, so Sarah hurried to catch up with him.
Sarah was occupied with packing her things into a suitcase. Unlike Rayen, who appeared to be occupied setting up equipment, the man had been occupied in his office since the afternoon. They had no time at all to get to know one another. Rayen was obviously trying to avoid that.
It feels weird, this. Is this how a wedding is like? Sarah kept folding her clothing while she spoke incoherently. Actually, Ryan had given the assistant instructions to get everything ready already. But Sarah declined. It was her habit to do everything on her own.
"After being married, I assumed things would be different, but everything was the same—really lonely."
"What have you done?" Sarah was taken aback. He forcefully swallowed his saliva. Sarah snapped around at the sound. Rayen was waiting for him at the door. "How long have you been there, B-Sis Rayen?"
Rayen remarked, "You have not addressed my question, Sar."
Sarah could hardly ignore Rayen's aura because it was so strong. She was terrified that Rayen's silent stare would not be enough to move Sarah on her own.
Rayen and Sarah finally reached the airport after around forty-five minutes of driving. Sarah needed to get used to being escorted by bodyguards at all times. Just like this, the man recruited a sizable entourage of security since Rayen did not want to take chances.
Rayen gripped Sarah's hand as he prepared to get out of the automobile.
"Avoid leaving just yet. Sarah nodded instantly as Rayen continued, "Baron will take you later." "Yes, sir."
Baron, lead the way inside. Keep the others from becoming suspicious."
"Yes, sir," Baron replied quickly.
Rayen then exited the vehicle. Outside, Rayen found a number of bodyguards waiting for him. But before he could go, a person arrived with an escort who did not look all that unlike Rayen.
He remarked cynically, "Wow... I did not expect to meet Boss Rayen here." "Is Boss carrying so many bodyguards because of something important?"
Naturally, this made the foreign man suspicious, and he chuckled again with sarcasm. Is there a diamond concealed in your car, Tsk? Or perhaps...
"It is none of your concern. Move aside from me!
Ryan moved forward, his hands balled into fists and his face icy. Sarah inquired Baron after noticing it from inside the vehicle. Please pardon me while I ask a question.
"Please, ma'am."
"Is that the buddy of Brother Rayen?"
I apologize, Madam, but I am unable to respond to this. You can ask the master personally later, Madam. However, I would advise against getting to know him."
It was evident from the Baron's response to Sarah's query that Rayen and the foreign man had a good relationship. Thus, Sarah gave a sympathetic nod. "All right. Alright, thank you.
"Yes, ma'am."
Even though Sarah was only seeing from within the automobile, she could still sense the unsettling aura outside when she peered out of it again. Rayen's very focused stare at the person he is speaking to conveys all of this.
"Who, exactly, is he? Is that man Brother Rayen's enemy?" he thought to himself as he kept searching his brains for solutions.
After a mere half hour, Sarah and Rayen were finally on the aircraft. Sarah had never flown on an airplane before. He was so still unaccustomed to the surroundings there. His face was pallid and his focus momentarily lost.
Rayen became aware of his wife's illness and enquired, "Is this your first time on a plane?"
"Yes, sir. I am terrified. Sarah lowered her head as he whispered softly, "I apologize; I have humiliated myself." She knows that becoming a billionaire's wife is not right for her. It was not like him to casually hop on a plane. How will major events be invited to Rayen?
Yes, if you could recall that again, it would not be feasible. as their union was maintained a secret. Rayen would not ask Sarah to go with him, of course. For the time being, Rayen and Sarah parted when they headed to the airport. A number of bodyguards escorted Sarah after they saw someone, whom Sarah considered to be a potential romantic interest for Rayen.
Basically, despite Rayen having prepared a VIP class for them, this dread manifests itself in a human way. Sarah could not deny her worry, though.
Ryan stood and sat down beside Sarah. Sarah did not converse much anymore, but having Rayen close by gave her a sense of security and comfort. despite the fact that his heart was racing. Sarah did not ask the man to sit close to her, but fortunately Ryan wanted to.
It is alright. You can hold my hand if you are still afraid."
Without saying anything, Sarah simply gazed at Rayen with her hazel eyes fixed on him.
Rayen took Sarah's hand and firmly grasped her fingers.
Sarah choked. "Huh."
