Chapter 7. A Word of Caution

"What are you doing?"

Rayen had just come into the kitchen to see Sarah hard at work baking cakes. After a quick glance, Sarah gave him one of the prepared cookies. "I am preparing snacks, brother. Would you like to give it a shot?"

"Can." Rayen picked up one of the pastries and swallowed it all at once.

Sarah was waiting tensely for Ryan to remark on the cookies she had just finished making. Sarah discovered this cake on the internet and became interested in making it. "Is it not delicious? How does it taste?"

As I chewed the remaining piece of cake in my mouth, I raised my head and nodded. It tastes really good. The taste is a little off; try adding a little extra sugar or some sweetened milk to make it exactly right."

Rayen was beginning to open up gradually, which pleased Sarah. Additionally, Rayen spoke in lengthy phrases, which indicated that the man had stopped talking. Even yet, Rayen still enjoys speaking simply and in an indifferent manner. It is considerably better now, at least.

"All right, sir. I made a note of it," he exclaimed. When someone compliments Sarah's food or cooking, she genuinely enjoys it. A remark can help Sarah assess herself and make much better cuisine. Ryan's remarks also provided an additional solution. Sarah would be delighted to do that, of course.

Rayen can be weird at times. How is it possible that Sarah never seems worn out and manages to find time to bake cakes like this even after returning home from work? He still had that smile on his face. His smile was even bigger when he managed to make the cake dough he had wished for.

Do not overwork yourself. You also need to get some rest."

Perhaps Rayen did not understand the statement he stated. But Sarah found that to be a heartwarming sentence. The fact that Rayen was still focusing on him was incredibly pleasant.

Sara gave a nod. "Yes, Brother, it is almost over."

Rayen hurried back into the room after retrieving some mineral water from the refrigerator. After spending the entire day traveling back and forth to appointments with multiple clients, his body was extremely exhausted. Rayen is very meticulous and disciplined in his job. The man truly cared about his work beyond all else.

This is the reason Sarah becomes concerned about her husband's health on sometimes. Because of the amount of work that has accumulated, Rayen occasionally forgets his lunch break. Not to add that Ryan frequently stays up late to complete tasks around the house.

Sarah was initially unaware of the details of Rayen's life. But after marrying him for a few months, Sarah found out about Rayen's vices. Thus, Sarah consistently

Sarah was initially unaware of the details of Rayen's life. But after marrying him for a few months, Sarah found out about Rayen's vices. As a result, Sarah constantly makes vitamins and occasionally cooks meals on purpose for Rayen. "Ah, he is asleep," Sarah said, glancing at the homemade cookies she had placed in the jar.

"Despite my want for him to taste it once more."

After moving ahead and setting the jar down on the table, Sarah walked over to stare at Rayen.

Sarah glanced briefly at Rayon, who appeared to be sleeping deeply. He noticed that even though Rayen was sound asleep, his lovely features was still intact.

Even though Sarah has a flat face, her eyes are quite alluring and her face is so peaceful that when she wakes up, everything changes. Sometimes, Sarah wonders how long her marriage will last. Despite sharing the same bed, she and Rayen are as different as night and day. I am hoping for a much better marriage someday. Okay, Brother, good night. Reaching out, Sarah brought the blanket to her chest. Ryan seems really at ease as he performed that. Sarah's expression brightened once more.

The weekend is the ideal time to relax after a few days of attending to daily tasks. Sarah, however, was prepared to go early in the morning. Rayen, who had just woken up, questioned as soon as he noticed his wife was tidy. "It is a holiday, where are you going?" Sarah turned around, a watch on her wrist.

"I have a teaching schedule today," Rayen said with raised eyes.

"Instruct."

"Bro, I work with my friends to teach street kids. Actually, it has not been that long. This has only been an ongoing activity for the past year. Classes are free on Saturdays and Sundays. By coincidence, I have my turn teaching on Saturday."

Rayen appeared astonished. The man continued to explain everything before answering. Another fresh detail about Sarah that Rayen was unaware of. Perhaps to be more specific, Rayen only knows that cooking is Sarah's hobby and nothing else about her. Because Sarah's mother had related the story of the orphanage, it was evident.

Would Brother Rayen like to attend?

"Not at all. I have some incomplete tasks to perform."

"All right. Do not overtire yourself from your job. You should first take some time to rest; it appears like you are fatigued."

Sarah merely wanted the best for Rayen; she had no intention of bossing him around.

The man had been so busy lately that Rayen would occasionally nod off at his desk. Sarah had never encountered someone who was a true workaholic before. Ryan appeared to be the winner of any workaholic competition that could exist.

"So tell me, what makes you different?"

"Huh?"

"Go, take it easy on yourself. If you are worn out, go relax."

Rayen said that, then immediately got out of bed and went to the restroom.

Though it was barely noticeable, Sarah grinned to herself in private when she sensed Ryan felt the same way about her.

Despite this, he processes phrases in a unique way that hides it.

Sarah left a note on the table when Rayon had finished using the restroom, and the girl quickly left.

Rayen finally emerged from the restroom fifteen minutes later, his body reeking of mint. When Rayen noticed a t-shirt and pants on the bed, he scowled.

"He prepared this too, still?" Surprised, Rayen furrowed his forehead.

Ryan was still getting used to Sarah's methods. He completed it by himself thus far. But ever since she got married, Sarah has planned for everything, from major purchases to little necessities like this. For instance, Sarah made clothes for Rayen even though she stayed home today due to the rain.

Rayen had changed and his steps now followed the scent of coffee. It turns out that in addition to getting clothes ready, Sarah had made coffee and snacks the night before. Rayen's gaze strayed to the pink sticky note that was affixed to the coffee jar and cup. There, Rayen wrote to Sarah.

I have coffee for you now. There are also pastries. It seems like the ideal addition to go with your coffee. I hope you have a pleasant day. Sarah."

With a small smile, Rayen shook his head.

"I guess I need to get used to something like this."

Rayen took the coffee and the container into his office as well. It is considerably better than last night's cake. Sarah wanted to hear Rayen's thoughts on whether to add milk or sugar to the cake to make it sweeter, which made him very happy.

However, Sarah is thrilled to be teaching street kids because there are a lot more of them now than there were a week ago.

In addition to accompanying Sarah, Alexa assisted with teaching the kids so Sarah would not feel overburdened.

In actuality, Sarah and Alexa started this action. But they also asked their buddies from campus for assistance. Ultimately, Sarah and Alexa were among the five individuals that conducted weekly instructional activities on a regular basis.

"Go, let me teach him. There must be hunger among the kids."

"Yes, lunchtime is here, as you can see, okay?"

Sarah stood up, and the girl replied after taking her luggage.

"First, I will buy food. You look after them well."

"All set, boss! Do not worry, I will handle everything. Alexa laughed and winked.

Cara laughed a little at her friend's actions and shook her head. She had barely moved away from that location when a voice was shocked by an unexpected appearance.

"Y-You?"
