She is the luna
"Kendall, are you being serious right now?" Juno's lips twisted into a wicked smile, exposing his sharp teeth. The sound of his menacing growl echoed in the tense atmosphere.
“Yes,” Kendall answered without hesitation.
"Are you questioning our trustworthiness or challenging the Alpha's decision with your actions?" Juno's intense gaze pierced into Kendall's eyes. "Which of the two possibilities are you considering, Kendall? Make your choice."
Kendall revealed her fangs and emitted a low growl, a shiver ran down my spine. Her sharp claws were visible, glimmering in the dim light, and I instinctively took a step back. These individuals, or rather, these creatures, were unlike anything I had ever encountered. I couldn't help but question if I had somehow stumbled into a nightmare.
Desperately, I pinched myself, hoping to awaken from this surreal experience. I would have much preferred dealing with Mrs. Taylor's constant reminders about my overdue rent payment rather than facing these otherworldly beings.
"Juno, don't take on more than you can handle!" She grumbled.
“So are you,” Juno's contemptuous words dripped with disdain as he sneered, his narrowed eyes and curled lips revealing his hostility. “In my eyes, you remain the same old female beta, just like any other member of this wolf pack. You’re just the fake Luna and nothing more."
“Take back what you said or I’ll kill you!”
The atmosphere grew tense, as if a storm was brewing.
“Although you may have deceived everyone into believing you are the Alpha's mate, the true Alpha’s Luna has now arrived. I believe your false reign will soon come to an end," Juno concluded.
Kendall's voice growled like a clap of thunder, startling me. Her eyes blazed with anger, and her fists clenched tightly at her sides, ready to attack Juno for his disrespectful words. However, Ajar stepped forward, blocking her path and firmly holding her back by gripping her shoulder. The air crackled with tension, and the adrenaline hung heavy in the atmosphere.
Kendall fought against Ajar's grip, her muscles tense and poised for action. "Release me, Ajar!" she demanded, her voice dripping with venom. "I'll teach that beta a lesson he won't forget, so he'll never dare to speak out of turn again!"
“Allow the true Luna to rest in Alpha's room.” Juno aggravated the situation. He extended his hand, expecting to receive something to grasp. "Luna has been waiting for a considerable amount of time, and I believe you should demonstrate some respect towards her. While I am willing to overlook your disrespect on this occasion, I cannot permit it to occur again in the future. Hand over the keys immediately!"
"Juno, you are truly testing my patience!" Kendall gritted her teeth.
Juno's face was filled with joy, displaying a wide grin that stretched from ear to ear. As I watched them, my mind was completely blank, like a fresh sheet of paper. The silence was heavy, and I played the waiting game when suddenly, a commanding and rough voice shattered the stillness, like sandpaper scraping against wood.
"What's all this commotion?" The sound reverberated and echoed, leaving my ears ringing. And just like that, a man appeared before us, as if he had been summoned out of thin air.
It was him again. Alphonse.
"Alpha Alphonse, it's about time you teach your Beta the importance of respect!" Kendall gave Ajar a gentle push so she could take a step back and straightened her disheveled clothes. "I've been holding my tongue for so long, but who knows when I'll finally lose control and kill him?"
"It's ironic that you're talking about respect, yet you can't even show it to Luna when she's right in front of you. Let's delve into the world of hypocrisy, where actions speak louder than words and people wear masks to conceal their true colors."
"I was just verifying if what you're saying is true, since Alpha Alphonse failed to inform me about it!" Kendall spoke in a calm and composed tone this time.
As I looked at her, I couldn’t stop myself from noticing how stunning she looked. Her eyes were the color of melted chocolate, and they glistened in the light. Her skin was smooth like silk, and I could almost feel the softness of it just by looking at her.
I couldn't help but admire the flawless curves of her body. It was as if she had been sculpted by the divine hands of the Gods themselves, a true masterpiece. Her hair flowed down her back in luxurious waves, emitting a delightful scent of lavender and honey. I couldn't tear my eyes away from her, not even for a second. She was truly a sight to behold.
"They're speaking the truth," Alphonse said, his voice dripping with coldness. “She will take over your title.”
Kendall couldn’t speak and before anyone could react, Alphonse pulled me until we arrived in front of the mansion. In a blink of an eye, we were already in front of his, I think… room. I immediately snapped back to reality.
"Set me free! Are you deaf or something?" I shouted.
I struggled with all my might to break free from his grip, but it was like trying to move a mountain - utterly futile. "Do you even realize that what you're doing is a crime?"
"A crime?" he sneered, his nose held high. "I am a lawbreaker, babe."
My mouth dropped open as he swung open the door and threw me onto the bed. His eyes locked with mine, filled with a deep longing that seemed to have been building up for a long time.
"Stop resisting me, because whether you like it or not, you will be my mate and the Luna of this pack--"
"Enough with the lies!" I roared like a fierce lion, attempting to regain my footing. "I have no interest in this Luna, pack, or whatever game you're playing. It's simply not my cup of tea!"
I stood up, ready to pass by him effortlessly. However, he forcefully pushed me and threw me back onto the bed once again. "Stay right here until you stop pretending and accept me! Quit putting on an act!"
He opened the door and turned away. In an instant, he disappeared into thin air while I remained trapped in the vast, silent chamber. I was completely surprised, trying to comprehend what had happened today. I was evicted from my rented house, I ate in a peculiar place where there was a strange ceremony, and then... I bumped into this guy and now, I find myself in this plain room with an elegant bed and all the typical room decorations.
"No way am I pretending! I have no idea what you're talking about!" I exclaimed, lying back on the bed. I then waved my hand to count my fingers while gazing up at the ceiling. Everything just kept going wrong... and I had fo find out how I was going to escape from here.
