Chapter 11 Think About How to Tease Her

Alaric hesitated for a moment but then nodded. "Alright, but you better take good care of him."

"Don't worry, I will," Orion promised, though she was secretly sneering inside. 'Take care of him? Dream on!'

Harry watched Orion's performance, feeling even more disgusted with her.

He thought his dad had terrible taste. How could he fall for such a fake woman?

His real mom was much better—kind and gentle.

During dinner, Orion kept piling food onto Harry's plate, fussing over him like a doting mother.

Harry ate quietly as he plotted how to get rid of her.

After dinner, Harry made an excuse to go back to his room. He took out his smartwatch and dialed Elisa's number.

"Hello? Who is this?" Elisa's voice came through, sounding a bit wary.

"Elisa, it's me, Harry!" Harry said excitedly.

"Harry? You can't be... Who are you? Don't try to fool me!" Elisa's voice turned sharp.

Harry was stunned. He hadn't expected Elisa not to recognize him.

"It's really me, Harry! Don't you recognize me?" Harry explained anxiously.

"Of course I know Harry! He's right here with me! You liar!" Elisa said before hanging up.

Harry listened to the dial tone, completely shocked.

He realized that the real Caspian was with Galatea, taking his place.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the city, Galatea was shopping at the mall with Caspian.

"Harry, what do you think of this jacket? Do you like it?" Galatea asked, pointing to a children's coat.

Caspian shook his head, his expression betraying a certain uneasiness.

Galatea was puzzled. Usually, Harry got excited when he saw clothes he liked. Why was he so quiet today?

"What's wrong? Don't you like it?" Galatea asked softly.

Caspian looked down, not saying a word.

He felt a pang of sadness seeing all the beautiful items in the mall. Galatea seldom purchased new garments for herself in the interest of fiscal prudence, yet she readily procured attire for her children without hesitation.

"Mom, I'm a bit tired. Can we go home?" Caspian said quietly.

Galatea nodded, thinking Harry was genuinely tired, and they left the mall.

Caspian secretly transferred some money to his bank account.

He decided to use his own money to buy the best things for Galatea and Elisa.

At the Knight Mansion, Harry sat alone in his room, thinking about Elisa's reaction. The more he thought about it, the more something felt off.

He decided to expose Orion's true nature as soon as possible and make his dad see her for who she really was.

Late at night, Alaric left the house to handle an emergency at work.

Once Orion was sure Alaric was gone, her smile vanished, replaced by a cold expression.

She walked to Harry's room and knocked on the door.

"Come in," Harry's voice came from inside, tinged with caution.

Orion pushed the door open and saw Harry sitting on the bed, reading a book.

"You little brat, pretending to be sophisticated." Orion said in a low voice only the two of them could hear.

Harry looked up at her, his eyes showing no fear.

"You think I'm scared of you?" Harry said coldly.

Orion was momentarily taken aback by Harry's gaze but quickly regained her arrogance. "You better behave, or I'll make sure you get punished!"

Harry didn't respond, just stared at Orion silently.

It was clear that Orion wouldn't let him off easily, but he wasn't afraid of her.

On the other side of the city, Caspian lay in bed, staring at the moon through the window. The real Harry was facing unknown dangers in his place.

Meanwhile, Harry had made up his mind.

'Mom, wait for me. I'll protect you and Elisa and find my lost brother and dad,' Harry silently vowed.

Both boys, in different places, made the same decision.

They would switch identities, experience each other's lives, and protect the people they cared about most.

The next day, at the mall.

"Mom, I need to go to the bathroom."

Caspian's voice was low, and he kept his head down.

Galatea didn't think much of it and nodded. "Go ahead; I'll wait here."

She pointed to a nearby bench. "Don't wander off."

Caspian nodded obediently and quickly walked away, weaving through the crowd like a little eel, disappearing from sight.

Galatea watched him go and didn't think much of it, pulling out her phone to browse the news.

Little did she know, Caspian had slipped out of the mall.

Standing at the entrance, he quickly hailed a cab and gave the driver an address, heading straight to the nearest bank.

The money in Alaric's account was enough to improve his and Elisa's lives.

At the bank, he approached the counter and said quietly, "Hi, I'd like to withdraw some money. My name is Caspian Knight."

The teller, a young woman, looked down at the small boy with a sweet face and smiled. "Are you here to help your parents withdraw money?"

Caspian shook his head seriously. "No, it's for me."

The teller was taken aback but followed the procedure to verify his information.

When "Caspian Knight" appeared on the screen, she looked at the boy in surprise, then back at the computer. After confirming the information, she began the transaction.

She wondered how kids these days could have so much money.

Soon, a large stack of cash was placed on the counter.

The sight of the green bills made Caspian's eyes light up.

"Be careful with all that money, okay?" the teller advised, worried he might lose it.

Caspian nodded vigorously, carefully putting the money into his small backpack, zipping it up, and patting it to ensure it was secure before leaving.

Back at the mall, Caspian headed straight for the children's clothing section, knowing exactly what he wanted. He found the blue jacket Galatea had liked and picked it up. He then told the store clerk, "I'll take this one."

The clerk smiled warmly. "You have good taste, little guy. This is one of our new arrivals and it's selling really well! Do you want to look at anything else?"

Caspian thought for a moment and then walked over to the girls' clothing section. His eyes scanned the rows of pretty dresses until they landed on a pink princess nightgown.

He remembered how Elisa had been eyeing that nightgown the last time they went shopping, murmuring about wanting a princess nightgown.

"This one too, in the largest size," he said.

Carrying several shopping bags, he quickly returned to where he had left Galatea. She was still sitting on the bench, waiting for him.

When she saw him, she stood up with a smile. "You were gone a while. Was the bathroom crowded?"
