Chapter 5

Jonah was shocked, his grip on the doorknob tightening until his knuckles turned white.

"Jonah, what are you doing at the door?"

Before hearing the answer, Gianna saw Felix standing in front of Jonah.

"What are you doing here?" she asked.

Felix sneered, "I guess I shouldn't show up now and disturb you, right?"

Gianna tightened her hand as she wiped her hair. Then she looked at him and said, "You should have seen the divorce agreement. When you are free, remember to sign it and send it to me."

“I didn't agree! Come back with me!"

He grabbed her hand, but Jonah stepped in front of Gianna and stopped Felix.

"Back off if you don't want to be blacklisted!" Felix said.

Jonah confronted him coldly. " Felix, it's not that easy to blacklist me. Besides, Gianna doesn't seem to want to go with you."

He had many contacts in the entertainment industries these years, so it would’t be that easy to force him out Felix.

With a cold look in his eyes, Felix took out his phone and made a call.

At that moment, Gianna said, "Felix, leave others out of this. Let's talk."

As he put down the phone, the anger in his heart was burning more and more. "You care about this man? I'm not at Dawnridge for a month and you start getting involved with other men? Gianna, you surprise me!"

Gianna ignored him and turned to Jonah. "Jonah, please go inside."

Although Jonah was still worried about her, he knew he shouldn't talk about their marriage.

"Just call me if you need anything."

After Jonah left, Gianna turned to Felix and was about to speak when Felix pulled her out.

"What are you doing? " Gianna was furious.

How could she have chosen to be with Jonah in the first place?

Felix kept silent and threw Gianna into the car. He got in from the other side and started the engine.

He drove fast. Gianna looked at him with anger.

"Let me out! Felix, what's the point of this?!"

"Put on your seat belt! Felix grasped the steering wheel so tightly that the veins on his hands were showing.

Gianna didn't move. "Felix, when I said I wanted to get a divorce, I wasn't angry or wanted any monkey business. I meant it."

The black Maybach jerked to a stop by the roadside, Gianna's head slamming against the windshield due to the abrupt motion.

The pain was so intense that Gianna frowned and gasped.

"Divorce me for that pretty boy? No way, Gianna!"

Gianna clutched her forehead and yelled at him. "Are you crazy? I stepped aside because of Bella. What else do you want?"

Felix’s icy demeanor matched his words. "What does this have to do with Bella?"

Gianna chuckled and sneered, "How is it not related? Are you going to deny she's the one you really want?"

After saying that, they both stayed quiet.

After a moment, Felix finally said, "How can you accuse me? I have never done anything wrong to you, and you are not home at night but choose to stay with another man in his Villa!"

"You still don't know what you did! Do you really want me to catch you two sleeping together?!"

"Gianna!"

Seeing the anger on his face, Gianna suddenly calmed down, looked away, and said, "No matter what you say, I want to divorce."

"What if I refuse to sign?"

Gianna's heart was a little upset. She didn't want to say anything to Felix.

Sensing she was treating him differently, Felix frowned and was about to speak when his phone rang.

"Bella, what's up?"

"Felix, the power went out at the villa, and I'm really scared... Could you come over and stay with me tonight?"

Bella's voice was on the verge of tears, trembling.

She had always been afraid of the dark since she was a child. She used to be scared to walk on dark roads and had to sleep with the light on every night.

"Don't be scared. I'll be there soon. Everything will be okay." he reassured her over the phone.

When he hung up the phone, he found Gianna looking at him while mocking, "The power is out at Villa," Felix explained. "I'll go check Belle, and you can take a taxi."

After a few seconds of silence, Felix continued, "As for the divorce, I will not sign."

Gianna's expression remained indifferent as she responded, "Felix, it doesn't matter to me whether you agree or not. I don't love you anymore, so as for that, I want a divorce!"
