Chapter 2

Selina Nash stood before Felix, her defiance burning bright in her eyes. She had endured his control for far too long, and now, she was ready to fight back with everything she had.

"I would rather kill you than be under your control again," she declared, her voice steady despite the turmoil raging within her.

Felix's eyes narrowed, his expression darkening with anger. "You dare to defy me?" he growled, his voice low and dangerous.

"I do," Selina replied, her chin held high. "I won't let you manipulate me anymore. I won't let you destroy me. I am tired of your bullshits, your possessiveness. I am tired of you treating me like a piece of rag that you can't let go."

Felix's grip on his temper slipped, his emotions spiraling out of control. He had always prided himself on his ability to remain calm and composed, but Selina's open rebellion struck a nerve deep within him.

"You think you can defy me and get away with it?" he snarled, his voice rising with each word. "You think you can walk away from me after everything we've been through?"

Selina stood her ground, unflinching in the face of his rage. "Yes," she said simply. "I do. Anyone with an utter of sense won't even think twice before walking away."

Felix clenched his fists at his sides, his eyes blazing with rage. The familiar roots of madness were encircling his thoughts like a grip, and he could feel his control falling.

"You don't understand, Selina," he hissed, his voice strained with emotion, something other than rage appeared in his eyes. "I need you. I can't live without you."

His words made Selina's heart tighten, causing her to feel both disgust and sympathy. There was a time when she truly loved Felix and thought they could have a future together. She couldn't help but feel deeply betrayed now that she was aware of his possessiveness and control.

"You don't love me," she uttered in a low, nearly whispery voice. "You only love the idea of me, the idea of having someone to control and manipulate."

Felix's emotions swirled in a whirlwind of competing impulses, causing his hold on reality to falter. He missed Selina, missed the sound of her laughter and the feel of her touch. He had a strong want to break her spirit and submit her to his will permanently, but he also felt the need to destroy her at the same moment.

"I can't let you go," he muttered, his voice trembling with desperation. "I won't."

Selina's heart fell when she recognized Felix's true level of insanity. To make sure she would never be free, he would stop at nothing to maintain control over her. She knew she had to get away, at whatever costs, as she gazed into his eyes, filled with a wild and frantic need.

Selina understood there was no way out, and she felt a sinking sensation in the pit of her stomach. She could do nothing to halt Felix's already-implemented scheme of psychological dominance. She had never felt anything like the fear that was consuming her just now; it was a primitive terror that seemed to be consuming her from the inside out.

Selina, however, remained hopeful despite her extreme hopelessness. She resisted allowing Felix to shatter her heart and subdue her will due to his insanity. She resolved to fight back, to oppose his control with all of her strength.

Meanwhile, Felix's mind raced with twisted thoughts and plans. He knew that Selina was slipping from his grasp, that she was growing more defiant with each passing moment. But he refused to let her go, refused to admit defeat.

In a frantic whisper, "I'll do whatever it takes to keep you with me, Selina," he said. "Even if it means destroying you in the process.” with that, he walked away into his office, leaving a scared Selina in the corridors.

Felix's mind raced with complicated ideas and schemes as he considered what to do next. He was aware that he had to finally establish his power over Selina since her disobedience could not continue. So, with a heart full of cold determination, he took the crucial choice to hire a renowned psychological hypnotist.

The decision weighed heavily on him as he sat in his dimly lit office. Although he had never before taken such drastic measures, he was aware that in times of despair, drastic measures were necessary. Selina had a stronger will than he thought, and he wanted to find a method to break her so she could never get away again.

"Bring in the hypnotist," he menacingly and softly ordered his trusted assistant. "I want Selina's will utterly shattered, her mind bent to my every desire."

The assistant briefly wavered, a glimmer of uncertainty passing over his face, but he soon conditioned it to one of submission. "Yes, sir," he answered, his voice tense with nervousness. "It will be done."

A feeling of cruel satisfaction settled over Felix as the assistant exited the room to carry out his commands. He was aware that the game he was playing was risky and that, if he didn't play it carefully, it could end badly. But if it meant finally crushing Selina's spirit and claiming his domination over her for good, then he was ready to take that chance.

Selina was thinking about what to do next, her heart thumping in her chest. She was aware that Felix's paranoia and insanity were getting the better of her, drawing her closer to hopelessness with every second that went by. Nevertheless, she resisted giving up on life and giving in to the darkness that threatened to engulf her.

She chose to go, to break free from Felix's grasp and find a way back to her freedom, with a stern resolve in her gaze. However, every creak of the floors and every ruffle of the curtains sent a chill down her spine as she slipped through the shadows.

She was aware that Felix's insanity had no boundaries and that he would do everything to maintain control over her. And when she realized that she would be completely dominated, both physically and mentally, she was overcome with a hopelessness she had never felt before.

But even in the face of such overwhelming odds, Selina refused to give up. She would find a way to escape Felix's grasp, to break free from his suffocating control and reclaim her life. No matter how impossible it seemed, she would never stop fighting for her freedom.

She knew this wasn't the end for her and Felix as she crept through the shadows, her pulse pounding with terror and resolve. But no matter the cost, she was ready to take on whatever obstacles were in her way, to face the darkness inside of him and come out on top.
