Chapter 6

WEAVER POV

She must have read our note; I can tell just by the way she walks like a scary mouse into the classroom.

We are able to watch her as she enters the class because we’re seated at the back.

We’re always the backbenchers; we hate the front row, and only nerds like Diamond stay at the front.

She looks around as she saunters to the front row of the class. She never looks around whenever she enters, and today is different. That’s because she’s already seen the note we left her.

I think she’s looking for us, and immediately, our eyes clicked. I watch how nervousness sweeps over her and the peristaltic movement of her gulping saliva down her throat.

“Shit, she looks more like a mouse now. She’s pretty terrified and totally in shock.” Sebastian whispers to me and chuckles darkly. The three of us are sitting in the same row as usual; we are never separated, and this is how we plan as teams.

As if Mr. Feud were waiting for her when he came into the class, he entered after Little Mouse had settled down on her usual seat.

I hadn’t totally taken note of her until Sebastian told us about her. Now that I watch her slowly, she is so pretty. From her natural blonde, her icy blue eyes, and her tan silk skin, she’s literally the prettiest I have seen.

I hadn’t noticed her all this while because she has been hiding. Just like Sebastian said, she’s been ignoring everyone and doing her fucking thing.

The part where she made the mistake was ignoring us too, and that was how Sebastian took quick note of her.

He became desperate to find her because nobody has ever ignored us or acted like we were just wallflowers.

We were too handsome to be ignored, and she had done it first. Well, too bad. She will face our wrath now, and soon the game will begin.

Mr. Feud heads to the front of the class so that he can get everyone’s attention and do what the fuck he wants to do, which is teach.

He is the mathematics professor, and I hate math and hate him too for fucking out Little Mouse first.

We don’t pay attention to his class. His class is as boring as him, maybe because we are too anxious to meet our little mouse and can’t wait for the class to be over already.

I lower my head and bring out my phone to chat in our group chat. We have a group chat just for the three of us.

Weaver: Fuck, can anyone see how little Mouse is trembling on that fucking seat she has her ass on?

I grin and click send. In the next few seconds, I receive a notification that Sebastian and Harper are typing.

Sebastian: Because she knows she’s been caught, and she can’t hide now or pretend. fucking pretender.

Harper: I badly wanted to see her first reaction when she saw our gift. Too bad we met her maid, and we couldn't stay in to watch her reaction.

It’s a war. None of us are paying attention to the class; who cares about the grades?

Grades or not, we won’t have any issues once we finish with this fucking college. We are from filthy rich families, and just a call can get us whatever we want. Our families are the real definition of connection and power.

I type away on my phone to respond to Harper’s message as I take him.

Weaver: Yes, fuck that maid too. But did anyone notice how weird the entire house felt when we got in?

How unusually quiet and dark it was? And some kind of aura was etched in the entire house.

I recall how I had goosebumps when we stepped in before the maid caught us. That was when we realized that there was a maid in the house.

I look away from my phone and stare at Sebastian's expression. His brow arched as he read my message and stared blankly at me.

Sebastian: I don’t know, but I might've felt it too. Between two minutes and the class is a wrap. Are you ready to meet our little mouse?

He adds a laughing emoji, and I smirk at the two of them, taking my phone back into my pocket and focusing on the last minute of the class.

Fuck, I don’t know why I’m having a boner at the thought of her. I just like the way she isn’t comfortable in that seat.

It's a sign that we have managed to get into that head of hers, and now she will be more conscious of us than anyone else because she’s trapped now.

“The class is over. Submit your assignment tomorrow.” He demands, and he is the first to walk out of the class.

The class gets rowdy as students walk out, and some students pack their bags to leave.

And there is little Mouse, who’s neither packing her backpack up nor trying to leave.

I never thought our words would affect her this much, but let’s make the hit first.

We fall out of the seat, heading towards her, and she turns in our direction as if she’s already expecting us. It's good that she can predict us now; it shows how smart she is.

She is not a dull little mouse.

She stands on her feet and stares at us without blinking an eye.

“So you sent me that fucking doll and the shitty note?” She doesn’t blink as she blurts at us. This is getting interesting because even the sound of her voice turns me on. I’m sure I’m not the only one, including Sebastian and Harper. I can tell just by the way they look at her, as though she is a meal.

We’ve never heard her speak; that’s because she’s never spoken to us, unlike other girls. Her voice is soft like cream, and even though she speaks with anger, it’s pleasant to listen to again and again.

“And are you not scared? The way you are speaking to us right now?” Sebastian steps forward, and I can see the effect of his voice on her because her angry looks swiftly change.

Sebastian speaks to her with his deep tone, and his tone usually sends shivers to every girl, just as it’s doing to her now.
