The Bringer Of Chaos

Eidenel ran far away from the Sudden Fang Pack until she was sure that she was nothing close to the border, then she stopped. It was at this point that she turned back to look at how far she had run. Tears welled up in her eyes as she realised that she would most likely never see any of her friends from the Sudden Fang Pack again, including her guardian. Eidenel heaved a deep sigh and shifted back to her human form even though it was dangerous to do so as she was in the middle of nowhere.

Would this be her way of life until she dies? Eidenel had met her now former guardian the same way. She was on the run after her parents were killed, and she happened to bump into her guardian who took her in. Eidenel's parents were Betas of a pack called The Alliance Pack, but their life was cut short after Eidenel was born.

Seeing that they were the parents of the one cursed by the moon goddess, The Bringer Of Chaos, they considered themselves cursed, and sacrificed themselves in the middle of the Pack square. Yes! Eidenel's parents committed suicide after secretly sending Eidenel to a relative in another pack. That was the first time Eidenel ever took flight for her life as The Bringer Of Chaos. However, she didn't last also in her relative's pack, as there was a rogue attack that happened there and while everyone was running for cover, her relative abandoned her to her fate.

As a pup, Eidenel made it out of a rogue attack. It was surprising to see a pup survive such a terror when adult wolves were losing their lives in droves. That was what caught the attention of Eidenel's guardian while the chaos was going on, and she took Eidenel with her. Taking a closer look at Eidenel, she saw the red spot on her left hoof. It was so tiny and literally invisible until one took a closer look. However, the bigger Eidenel got, the more obvious the spot became.

It was this guardian that made sure she covered Eidenel up with white dye, and warned Eidenel never to be seen with that red spot on her hoof. Eidenel had asked why several times, but her guardian told her that when the time came, Eidenel will know the reason without anyone explaining to her.

Well, that day had come, and Eidenel knew exactly why her guardian warned her against the red spot. In fact, everything now made sense to Eidenel as far back as when her parents died, and why her relative abandoned her.

Exhausted, Eidenel shifted back to her wolf. It was time to go on the run again. She needed to drink water. She was thirsty. Eidenel's wolf had never spoken to her before, so the wolf had never told Eidenel her name. Eidenel considered it as part of the curse because why would her wolf be so agile and up to every task, yet completely mute. A cursed wolf indeed.

Running for as long as she did, Eidenel eventually saw a settlement in sight. She heaved a sigh of relief as she increased her pace to the settlement, hoping to get help from there. Food and water were things she needed desperately at that time, and she also wondered if she could somehow settle into the pack. She only knew about wolf packs, so she assumed that the settlement was yet another wolf pack. This time, Eidenel had promised to take care of herself all by herself, and not even keep friends with anyone so as not to get them in trouble just because they had dealings with the cursed wolf, The Bringer Of Chaos.

Getting close enough to the settlement, Eidenel began to slow down and think twice about her decision to show up there. It was a human settlement, although, the humans that she saw there were so pale and lanky, and oh, the males were drop dead gorgeous, while the females were too beautiful to be true. What were they about? Who were they? Eidenel quickly shifted back to her human form as she got close enough to the settlement.

''Vampires?'' she muttered. Well, that might have passed if not for the fact that vampires were known for their inability to exist under the sun but these humans that Eidenel was looking at, were all basking under the sun.

''What on Earth?'' Eidenel gasped when she suddenly saw one of the queer humans transform into a gigantic beast. A dragon. Eidenel's heart skipped several beats.

Quickly, she decided that it was not the place for her, and so she turned around to leave but it was too late. If there was one feature that dragons were always at their best at, it was the ability to perceive any scent, especially one that they were not used to.

The human who had just shifted into a dragon started to sniff the air, suspiscion evident in it's eyes. Looking around, it took a split second for it to identify Eidenel as the person with the unfamiliar scent, and before Eidenel knew what was going on, a fierce dragon was right in front of her, sniffing her and howling so loudly to gain the attention of others. There was an intruder.

Fear gripped Eidenel, as she slowly became surrounded by a lot of these pale humans.

''I...I don't mean any harm. I was just passing by and became thirsty so I thought to ask for some water.'' Eidenel did not allow the dragon-humans start talking to her before she started to plead for mercy.

''Sorry to bother you all. I'll just leave now.'' Eidenel tried to make her way out of the chaos she had yet again caused, but as soon as she turned back, she knew that there was no way she was going to leave that territory without having to escape as the largest dragon she had ever come across even in novels and comic books was making it's way towards her gracefully.
