Jealous Julie

''Skeen!''

Julie's eyes were burning with a fierce fire as she stomped out of the King's quarters. Skeen was the name of her servant, a lanky and grim looking man that had the nose of a parrot's beak. He looked like trouble indeed. You should see his dragon, hurrenduous.

'I heard there's a new prisoner in the dungeon. A stray girl.'' Julie asked Skeen, glaring at him.

Skeen nodded.

''The little werewolf girl, yes. What do they call them, rogues. Yes, that one.'' Skeen explained.

There was silence.

''What about her, my Dragon Queen, ma! You seem deeply interested in her.'' Skeen added.

Julie looked at Skeen skeptically. She could not just let out the fact that the actress tied to the great myth that everyone in the entire underworld dreaded, was in their dungeon and she was in the process of fulfilling ''The Prophecy.''

''Skeen, this is a very serious issue, not one of your skimpy and idle minded adventures you are used to.'' Julie had to warn Skeen first about how deep the situation at hand was.

Skeen immediately kept a straight face and looked at his madam, ''The Incumbent Dragon Queen.''

''What is it, my Queen. You look perturbed.'' Skeen knew it was time for serious business.

''That's it. You said it. Someone is about to dethrown your Queen.'' Julie reported with a distinct sneer.

Skeen held his breath and gasped.

''I beg your pardon? Who dares to trespass?'' He barely blurted those words because Skeen could not actually believe that there was anyone that could disturb his Demon Queen, Julie's existence. Julie was ruthless, and the Dragon King loved her.

''Come.'' Julie pulled Skeen into her chambers and sat him down after she made sure that there was nobody around to hear them.

''What I am about to tell you is deep and sensitive. This is the most sensitive secret you will ever hear in your life.'' Julie was talking in whispers.

Skeen could not wait. The gossip and adventure that he sensed from the tone of Julie's voice made him shiver in anticipation as he stared directly into Julie's eyes.

Julie looked at Skeen and knew he was ready.

''That girl in the dungeon is The Bringer Of Chaos.'' Julie spoke with clear words.

''Indeed. She must be. Look at the way she is unravelling my Queen. She must be a very chaotic stray thing. What did she do Queen?'' Skeen ranted and asked with expectation, lookign stupid as he still did not understand what Julie had just told him.

''Numbskull. I said she is The Bringer Of Chaos. As in, The Prophecy. You know the story, right?''

Skeen nodded.

''Exactly, from the story, that girl in the dungeon is The Bringer Of Chaos.'' Julie stated clearly.

It took a split second before it snapped in Skeen's brain that Julie was pointing something very epic to him.

Skeen's eyes shone and almost popped out.

''My Queen!'' he squealed in fear.

Julie looked at him, her eyes as troubled and livid as a crazed and confused devious woman.

''Shhh! And guess what? Of course if you know the details of The Prophecy you should know that...'' Julie started to say.

''The Bringer Of Chaos would be mated to the Dragon King, and all other underworld rulers.'' Julie and Skeen said in unison as Skeen's eyes widened the more. His eye span seemed to have no limit.

''Ha! In my lifetime! We are finished, my Queen. Let us run away.'' Skeen started to suggest.

Julie looked at him with disgust, she thought as much. Skeen could not be trusted to maintain sanity for a reasonable amount of time, he would always suddenly snap into the dumbest bird she had ever seen in her life.

''Run? I should run away and leave my throne to another stupid bitch just because she claims to be fulfilling a prophecy?'' Julie asked.

Skeen suddenly realised the point his ''Queen'' was trying to make and he became even more sober.

''My Queen. The Bringer Of Chaos should be left alone, don't you think so?'' Skeen dared to say, even though he trembled at Julie's feet while he suggested that to her. But it was true. The sorts of stories that was psread about The Bringer Of Chaos was not one that anyone should ignore. The Bringer oF Chaos destroyed destinies, countries, empires, and ravaged the underworld into a state of indepth jeopardy.

Julie could not falter what Skeen said even though it irritated her that he dared to mention it.

Questioning her power was not something that Julie liked so she was upset with Skeen, but if she was being honest, the man had a point.

''I will not give up the throne to her. You had better get that into your numbskull and get ready to work.'' Julie sneered at Skeen spookily.

Skeen was obviously shaken.

''Trouble. I smell trouble,'' he said to himself, making sure that his ''Queen'' didn't hear him.

''First task concerning this. I want to go and look at the scoundrel in the eyes, but I don't want anyone to see me so that when my plans start to suffice, nobody would trace it back to me.'' Julie started to narrate to Skeen keenly with her hands held behind her.

Skeen could only nod. Even though he was afraid, if his''Queen'' said that there was work to do, then there was absolutely work to do.

''Okay.'' Skeen bowed. That was easy for him. All he needed to do was to distract a few other servants that would stumble on Julie on her way to the dungeon.

''Send Marcus, Debra, and Eunice on errands My Queen, that way, nobody would intercept you on your way to the dungeon. Send them out on errands that would take them at least an hour to return.'' Skeem told Julie.

Julie flashed a pleasant smile at her ever-capable servant for coming up with a solution to his first task on the spot.

''You know, Skeen. Don't always take me too seriously when I scold you and call you names. You are one of the brightest minds I know.'' Julie tapped Skeen fondly on his left cheek and went about business as Skeen had suggested.
