Chapter 7 The Intimacy of Anger

When Brooklyn felt another pair of lips press against hers, her body froze as if hit by a petrifying spell.

As she sensed he was trying to pry her teeth apart with his tongue, she shoved him away with all her might.

"What the hell do you think you're doing? I'm your doctor, not here to provide any sexual services!" Brooklyn glared at Sebastian, feeling nothing but anger. She felt utterly disrespected, like a toy being played with.

Sebastian wiped his lips, noticing a faint trace of blood on his fingers. Brooklyn had instinctively bitten his lip when she pushed him away.

Looking at the blood, Sebastian didn't seem angry. He simply stared at Brooklyn and asked, "Have you forgotten? We're still married. You're my wife!"

Brooklyn adjusted her hair and sneered, "Oh, so you remember you're my husband? Then why are you so cozy with that tramp Megan?"

"Are you jealous?" Sebastian leaned against the bed, laughing as if he'd heard a funny joke.

"Who would dare be jealous of you, Mr. Kingsley? You're one of the most powerful men in the world." Brooklyn let out a mocking laugh, not noticing Sebastian's gradually cooling expression.

Sebastian's expression hardened. The title "Mr. Kingsley" stung.

She still didn't seem to understand why he had gotten so drunk, why he had specifically chosen to stay in this hospital, and why he had used Megan to provoke her. It was because he loved her; he wanted Brooklyn to understand that he truly loved her.

But Brooklyn had no clue what was going on in Sebastian's mind. She was like a block of wood, unable to grasp his feelings, even calling him "Mr. Kingsley" like everyone else who tried to curry favor with him.

What Sebastian didn't understand was that Brooklyn felt equally misunderstood. She longed for a man who would cherish and love her, someone gentle and accepting. Not a cold, aloof husband who treated everyone like subordinates.

Since their wedding night, when they had been intimate just once, Sebastian had left Brooklyn alone in the room every night. She felt like a widow in her own marriage.

Sometimes, Brooklyn even forgot she had a husband until Megan's seduction of Sebastian shattered her last hopes.

Just as Brooklyn finished fixing her hair, Sebastian's large hand yanked her back onto the bed. This time, he was rougher, tearing her clothes to reveal her underwear.

"What are you doing? Stop it! This is rape!" Brooklyn screamed, but the soundproofing in the luxury hospital room was excellent. No one outside could hear a thing.

Sebastian sneered, "You want to know what I'm thinking? I'll show you exactly what I'm thinking!"

He ripped Brooklyn's clothes into shreds, then tore off her underwear, leaving her naked and covering her sensitive areas.

"Sebastian, you bastard!" Brooklyn cried out in frustration, her chest heaving with each breath.

"Your clothes are in pieces. If you think you can walk out of here naked, be my guest..." Sebastian pointed to the door, confident she wouldn't dare.

Of course, Brooklyn wouldn't walk out naked. She could only glare at Sebastian with a mix of anger and sadness.

Sebastian smirked and began undressing. Soon, he was naked too, pressing down on Brooklyn.

The bed in the luxury room shook slightly. Brooklyn's initial curses turned into soft moans, then loud cries. Her hands clawed at his back, leaving scratch marks.

When Brooklyn realized she couldn't stop what was happening, she decided to enjoy it. After all, he was her husband, and the long-neglected physical connection filled a void in her heart.

'Brooklyn, it's no big deal. Just think of him as a high-end vibrator. It's way better than using your hand. Consider it a free gigolo.'

With this thought, Brooklyn stopped holding back. She wrapped her arms around Sebastian's neck, kissing him passionately, her legs entwined around his waist.

Feeling Brooklyn's enthusiasm, Sebastian's pent-up emotions exploded. He charged like an enraged bull, moving faster and faster.

Outside the room, doctors and nurses passed by, occasionally glancing at the door but never lingering.

Because George had sternly warned everyone not to disturb Mr. Kingsley, or they'd be fired and banned from the medical field.

No one wanted to lose their job, so they obeyed. Until Megan arrived, carrying dinner. Hearing the sounds from the room, her face changed.
