Urban Legend (2)

Hearing a suspicious sound coming from the piano table, the man immediately looked for the source of the sound. However, his facial expression immediately changed when he saw a small hand sticking out from under the piano table.

He smiled broadly and immediately kicked the piano with all his might. Realizing that his uncle had discovered his whereabouts, Jack froze with his body shaking.

Realizing that he didn't have much time, he immediately took the handycam and immediately ran as hard as he could away from the demon who could kill him at any time.

Poor Jack ran out of the house, but his uncle didn't stay silent, with a rifle held in his hand he immediately chased Jack. The heavy rain hampered Jack's footsteps. But he didn't want to give up, he kept running to avoid the devil. He didn't want his life to end like his aunt and his two cousins.

“Jack my dear nephew, come here boy!” He said trying to persuade. Jack ran towards the garden which was located in his neighbor's large backyard and was filled with tall bushes.

"Jack come here, give me the handycam and you'll be safe." Once again, he tried to persuade Jack. But Jack didn't care, his small body continued to run through the rain while still hugging the handicam which was still on and making the same sound.

"Jack, give me that handycam right now or your fate will be the same as those three witches!" His patience was running out. There was no more seductive tone from his mouth.

Dor...

A gunshot started to ring out, a shot that flew through the air as a warning. The sound of thunder and heavy rain meant that no one heard the gunshots.

Finding a dead end, Jack stopped in front of an old, dry well. His body was soaked and he was starting to get tired. Resigned to the situation, he decided to drop the handycam into an old, dark well.

Tit...tit...tit...

The handycam was still on and still making the same sound over and over again. The man finally finds Jack who surrenders to the terrible fate that is about to befall him. Little Jack just stood scared with his body shaking in front of a rectangular stone chair in front of the old well.

“Hahaha…you finally got caught, you damn kid? Come on, where are you going to run now?"

“F-forgive me, Uncle Carlos. Don't kill me-”

“Hahaha…where did you hide that handycam? Hurry, give it to me! You recorded the incident on purpose, right? Do you think I can't kill you? Soon you will die, now say goodbye to your mommy and daddy!"

“D-don't kill me, Uncle! I'm sorry, I won't tell anyone, please!” Jack asked in a weak sobbing voice, his tears streaming down his pale face.

“Oh no no, who's going to kill you, Jack? We're both just playing, right? Come on, let's pretend we're playing cowboy fight now.”

Woof...woof...

A Labrador dog belonging to their neighbor, an old man named Silvester barked and barked, he saw little Jack who was in danger. The dog immediately ran home to meet his owner.

Realizing that a dog was watching the two of them, Carlos immediately took action. He didn't want his actions to be known by other people. With a rifle in his hand, he tried to shoot the dog. But he lost quickly, the dog managed to escape.

Woof...woof...woof...

The dog barked trying to wake its owner while pulling the blanket covering the old man's body.

“W-what's wrong Oscar? Why are you so panicked?" Asked Mr Silvester who was still sleepy as he got out of bed. The dog continued to bark while signaling to the old man that their neighbor was in danger.

The dog signaled Mr. Silvester to immediately go check the garden behind his house to help Jack.

“W-wait a minute, what's wrong Oscar? You want me to follow you? Did you find anything interesting out there?"

Woof…woof…

"Ok ok Oscar, but it's raining so hard, it's going to be hard for us to get out now."

Grrrr...

“You barked? I understand, let's see what you found!” He said while taking an umbrella and flashlight. A few moments later, two gunshots were heard in the air.

Mr. Silvester was very surprised and quickened his steps towards the source of the sound. He swiftly walked after his dog who ran into the garden behind his house. He held a flashlight while trying to light the road in front of him. He tried to see something in the midst of the terrible darkness of the night.

The rain, which was originally very heavy, slowly began to subside, only a light drizzle remained. In the dark of night, he saw a shadowy figure running quickly towards the Louis family residence.

"Who's that?" He muttered. Strange, there is no one in this place. However, seeing the shadow of a man he had seen made him feel suspicious.

He and his dog checked the situation around his old garden. The dog kept yelping and barking, his eyes kept looking at the old well near them, but when he checked with a flashlight, there was no one there.

"We'd better go home, Oscar. I'll call the police. Let the police check it." He said as he walked back to his house after realizing something was wrong.

Exactly at 01.10 pm, three police cars arrived to answer the call. The police immediately checked Louis's family house and found 3 bodies in a very tragic condition. The police immediately found evidence and fingerprints of the perpetrator of the sadistic murder, who was none other than Carlos Thompson, the husband of Jane Thompson, nephew of Mr. William Louis.

Hearing the tragic news that had befallen his family, Jack's parents arrived the next day as did Jack's grandparents. They did not expect Carlos to have the heart to kill his own wife and two biological children so cruelly.

“Where's Jack? Where is my son? Why is he not anywhere? Where is my son?” Mrs. Karen screamed hysterically until she almost fainted when she realized that her son had disappeared.

"Sorry Madam, we have checked all the rooms in this house but we still can't find your son. Was your son at home at the time of the incident?" Asked one of the investigating police.

"Sure, Jack was at home and he was with his aunt and two cousins that night." Said Mr William Louis, Jack's grandfather.

"But, there's no sign of Jack around the house."

“No way, please find my son, please...!” Mrs. Karen continued to scream, she sobbed in the arms of her husband who looked steadfast.

"Okay, we will continue to look for your son, Madam. But for now, we hope you will be patient to accept whatever information we will provide later, sooner or later."

“What about Carlos? Has he been found?" Asked Jack's father, Steven Louis.

"We just received a report from the office that the perpetrator had been found at a gambling place. The perpetrator has been arrested and taken to the police station for further investigation."

“Okay, thank you, Sir.”

“Jack, where are you my son? Please, come home, please! I promise I will spend more time with you. I beg you to go home."
