All Three Of Them?
''Harry, do you think our wife will be pretty?'' Barry, the second born of the triplets of the Vandersar family nudged hi brother and asked.
Harry was the oldest triplet. He arrived forst, Barry came into the world six minutes later, and Larry arrived ten whole minutes after Barry. Harry was sixteen minutes older than the last triplet, Larry, and he held on to the fact that he was the older of the triplets as if his life depended on it.
''I don't know. I am not interested.'' Harry was standoffish and smacked Barry's hand away.
''Oh, I'm so excited, I can't wait. It's funny how McGuire prevented us from dating any other females since we were born, claiming that we have a partner already. I could hardly wait. I'm glad that the day has finally arrived for me to date.'' Barry chirped non-stop into the ears of his older brother even though he had been pursued several times.
''Larry, what do you think?'' Barry looked up at his younger brother, the last of the triplets of the Vandersar family.
''Larry shrugged. He was busy staring at himself in the mirror, adjusting his outfit and fixing his hair, making sure that every single strand of hair was in the right place.
"Tell me how I look, Barry." Larry turned and faced his brother, displaying his outfit and anticipating Barry's reply.
"Both of you are getting on my nerves. What are you, women?" Harry could not stand his brothers making such a fuss about "the girl's" arrival.
"Don't be such a killjoy, Harry. We have never had girlfriends in our lives, thanks to McGuire. Now that all three of us get to share one, don't you think you should be excited? I cant wait to show her around this lonely palace and have my arms around her throughout the night just as I have always wished." Barry helped the last triplet adjust his waist coat while he spoke.
"You already plan to be greedy with her. What about me? I will also put my arms around her throughout the night, and show her to my friends and show her around the lonely palace." Larry argued.
"I said it first."
"No, I'll show her first. You always bully me." Barry and Larry started to argue with Barry trying to ruin Larry's outfit out of jealousy.
The only thing that stopped them from arguing was when they heard the loud slamming of the door. Their older brother, Harry, could no longer stand their arguing and walked out on them.
"See? Look at what you have caused. You have annoyed him. I already said I'll show her around, why didn't you just agree." Barry started to leave the room as well, going to the living room where he knew Harry would be.
Just as Harry stepped into the living room, he heard the sound of the castle gates swing open. The hinges of the gate needed to be oiled, so the sound of creaking often announced the presence of anyone that drove in through the gate.
Margaret stepped out of the car and looked around her, her eyes nearly dropping off because of how wide they were. The Vandersar palace was a beauty to behold, and with emphasis, it oozed of power.
"Welcome home." The mysterious man held Margaret's arm gently and showed her the way in.
"I heard the sound of the gate. Who was that? Is she here?" Larry hurried out of the room to join his brothers who leaned against the window, trying to catch a glimpse outside.
"Harry, I thought you were not interested in her? Why don't you move over and allow those that are interested to see her." The last born, Larry was squeezing in between his brothers as he tried to look outside the castle to catch a glimpse.
Their visions were blurred because of the texture of the floor to ceiling window which was bulletproof. The window was thick and heavy, so it made the sight nearly impossible to see but the princes were able to see that McGuire was with someone else that they had never seen before, and they were about to open the front door.
Yes, the name of the mysterious man was McGuire, and he had been the guardian to the three Princes since they were born.
As soon as the Princes saw that McGuire was about to enter the house with this stranger, they adjusted themselves and stood upright, staring at the door in anticipation.
"McGuire!" Larry yelped and waved coyly, looking away from Margaret as soon as his eyes met hers. Larry was shy as the last born, and insecure. He kept on adjusting his clothes and asking his brother, Barry how he looked.
"You were fast. I was expecting you to be gone for months." Harry spoke up with a tone much more mature than Larry's as he walked towards McGuire to welcome him back home. He deliberately avoided eye contact with Margaret because, just like his brothers, he was shy of a female. Not being allowed to date anyone since they were born, had taken a toll on the Princes, and they found it hard to get around Margaret.
"Well, I am back. I told you that the quest could take up to one month, but I was lucky enough to finish with it in less than a week. Here boys, meet your bethroted wife, Margaret Usynol. Margaret, your husbands, Harry, Barry, and Larry Vandersar." When McGuire finished making the introduction, he stepped back and waited for each party to reply.
"All three of them?" Margaret was shocked and she had no problem in expressing it.
