Chapter 3: True Adonis

Dahlia's POV

My heart ached each time I remembered how they held each other, how they talked about me, how he touched her, how he told her he loved her. I wanted to forget it all. I just wish I could wipe my memory. I cursed the day I met Scott and Emma. I wish I had never met them. A few hours ago, I thought that they were the best people in my life and that they had changed it for the better, but unfortunately, it was the complete opposite. The loud music I heard from down the streets interrupted my thoughts. I wasn't the drinking type, but I'd do anything right now to take my mind off all of this.

"Please stop here," I said before lending him the money, and then I got down from the cab. I stood right in front of the club, and there was a huge billboard that lit up on top of it, which read 'The Grooving Getaway'. I honestly found it funny though. It was either this or crying my eyes to sleep tonight. I muttered to myself before walking into the bar; almost everyone was on the dancefloor partying wild, and I made my way to the counter.

"What would you like to have, Miss?" the waiter asked as soon as he noticed my presence.

"Anything as long as it gets me drunk," I went straight to the point; the waiter had a confused look on his face, but what could he do? This was none of his business; all he could do was make sure the people were satisfied, and he'd get paid.

"Okay Miss... I guess you'll like this." He poured me a glass of whatever he put in there. I didn't care what it was; like I said, as long as it was going to get me drunk, I didn't have a problem with it.

Normally, I'd take my time and enjoy myself, but right now, I wasn't thinking straight; as a matter of fact, I didn't even want to think at all, so I just gulped down my drink.

"Another," I ordered, putting the glass right in front of him.

"Okay, Miss," he said, pouring me another glass. I could tell he sensed something was up, but what could he do? The only thing he could do to help was do exactly what I told him to: 'Keep pouring'.

I lost track of how many shots I had taken; everything was beginning to be a blur now. Perfect, but I needed more. I could still recall everything, so I kept asking for more.

"Uh...M..Miss I don't think it's such a good idea to..." he trailed off when he found me glaring at him.

"Is it your money? No, so why do you care, Huh?!" I was beginning to be a bit loud.

"Someone's in a bad mood," I turned around to see a guy sipping his drink. I could only see the side of his face, but I could tell he was really good-looking. It looks like he has been there the whole time, but I didn't notice. He ushered the waiter to leave, leaving the drink with us.

"What's your deal?" I asked, obviously annoyed. I'm sure it was written all over my face.

"Hey," he said, turning to face me as he continued sipping his drink. I almost dropped my glass when I saw his face; even though I was drunk and my vision was blurred, I could still see his features clearly since he was really close to me. He was too damn hot, and Scott was nowhere near him.

He had jet-black hair that almost covered one of his eyes and sparkled under the lights, making him look like he just got out of the shower. He had these blue eyes that reminded me of the ocean, and God, his lips were calling mine. He had a really manly face, and don't get me started with his body. He was wearing a white shirt, but he left the first two buttons open, which made his chest visible enough for me to take a quick peek, and he was so well built. This guy was to die for.

"So hot," I said subconsciously, still gawking at him. He snapped his fingers, bringing me back to reality.

"Sweetie, my eyes are up here," and to top it all off, he had a very deep, sexy voice; he was a true Adonis. I didn't even feel a bit of shame when he caught me staring...I think it was a good drink and also worth it.

"So...." He poured himself another glass. "I guess it wouldn't hurt if you told me what's making a girl this pretty pissed. Would you like to share?" I could tell he was checking me out, and I couldn't deny it; it made me feel so good.

"Only if you dance with me," I said with a smirk on my face, and from his reaction, I'm sure he didn't expect that.

"I'm sorry..." He dropped the bottle on the counter, smiling,I didn't get that." His eyes sparkled.

"You want to know what pissed me off, right?" I didn't wait for an answer; I just continued,Well, then you can lighten my mood by dancing with me; maybe then I can tell you what got me so worked up in the first place." I said, Trying to look cute, well, you couldn't blame me.There was an incredibly hot guy in front of me; I couldn't let him just slip away.

He rested his chin on his arm, which was on the counter, still thinking about my offer. In a few seconds, he got up from where he sat and offered me his hand.

"Well, I don't see why I should refuse." He had this mischievous grin on his face, which turned me on. I quickly accepted his hand and followed him to the dance floor. The music was loud and everyone was dancing. I turned around so I wasn't facing him and wrapped my arms around his neck, and as I did that, I ground my ass around his crotch, and from what I saw, he really liked it. He held my waist and pulled me closer, and I felt his cock touch my ass. Oh my gosh, we continued dancing and teasing each other before he spoke to me.

"So I see you're not new at this," he says as he turns me around to face him and moves his fingers down my face. I just had to pretend that his touch wasn't doing anything to me; it was the complete opposite.

"Actually, I kind of am... I decided to try new things tonight. I walked in on my boyfriend cheating with another girl in his bed. Well, not just any girl, my best friend, so I'm kind of doing everything I can to get it out of my head," I said as he listened. I wrapped my hands around his neck again.

"Well, I'm glad he did, 'cause if he didn't, you wouldn't be out here tonight." His eyes grew darker with so much lust.

"I know right." I touched his chest and ran my fingers down his abs. I was craving to see him without a shirt. I was paying so much attention to his body that I was caught off guard when he lifted my chin.

"I think it's safe to say that we're on the same page." I didn't get what he said until he crashed his lips on mine, and that was when I realized that I wanted more. He bit my bottom lip, and I let out a soft moan as I parted my lips, slowly making him push his tongue inside my mouth. Seconds later, we pulled away, staring at each other.

I could read his eyes; they were dark with desire and lust. I definitely didn't want this to end. I didn't know what was wrong with me, but I was sure of what I wanted—him.

"Do... you want to go somewhere else?" I hesitated to ask.

"I thought you'd never ask...." He took my hand, and I followed. I didn't know where he was taking me, but I liked where this was going, so I didn't even falter.
