Chapter 8

Audrey opened her eyes feeling better. She had slept well tonight, until she woke up to the sound of the alarm.

"Mommy..."

Audrey came out of the room and smiled to find who was there. She looked at her son's bright face as he smiled at her.

"Mommy... I want to eat."

Audrey smiled at that. "What do you want to eat?" She said as she walked towards the kitchen.

"Grilled meat."

It was a habit that her son could not change, Alfan loved to eat meat. It was already a habit for the wolf nation, they would love to eat meat because it was their daily food.

The clan led by Aldrick didn't drink blood often, they only drank blood when there was a feast or strange ritual.

"How about some sausage patties? It just so happens that we're out of meat, mommy was just about to buy it at the supermarket."

"Umm, okay. Meat sausage, Mom."

"Okay."

Audrey smiled and started cooking. She made toast with the sausage that was in the refrigerator. Audrey intended to gradually reduce the meat source in the meal to protect her health. Rocky said nothing more when he saw Aldrick's crumpled face.
