Jack Willems

Somewhere in New York

In a dark, silent room, a man was doing pushups. The only sound breaking the silence was the voice of his secretary, who was dutifully informing him about his schedule.

"Sir, today you have a meeting with the CEO of German Industries, Mr. Justin Germans, at 12 p.m." The man hummed in acknowledgment and signaled for him to continue. His secretary proceeded to list the remaining appointments and then stood silently, waiting for further instructions.

Noticing his secretary was still lingering, the man paused mid-pushup.

"What are you waiting for? GET OUT!" he shouted, his voice like a whip crack in the silence.

The secretary felt a shiver run down his spine at the outburst. He immediately apologized for his lapse in professionalism and hurried out of the room. He knew all too well that facing the boss’s anger was something to avoid at all costs, especially in the morning.

Sometime Later

In the grand hall of a mansion, all the servants stood in a line, silent and still. The only sound was the ticking of the clock, counting down the seconds to the inevitable.

The faint sound of approaching footsteps made the servants tense, straightening their posture, eyes fixed downward. They knew who was comingβ€”no one else commanded this level of fear.

As he entered the hall, the servants greeted him with synchronized bows and hushed "Good morning" wishes, but he paid them no mind. He walked directly to the dining table and sat down.

A new female servant approached to serve him breakfast. After placing the plate before him, she lingered, her eyes tracing his features with obvious interest. The other servants exchanged uneasy glancesβ€”they had warned her, but she hadn’t listened.

He was halfway through his meal when he felt her gaze lingering on him. Looking up, he caught her eyes filled with lust. His lips curved into a smirk at her audacity.

The servant, emboldened by his smirk, believed she had succeeded in capturing his attention. She approached him slowly, a seductive smile on her lips, ignoring the disapproving looks of the other servants.

As she raised her hand, eager to touch his face, his expression turned icy. But she was too absorbed in her fantasies to notice the change. Just as her hand was about to make contact, he grabbed her wrist in a vice-like grip.

Before she could comprehend what was happening, a sharp pain shot through her hand. Her eyes widened in shock as she looked down to see that he had severed her hand with a swift, practiced motion. Blood gushed from the wound, and she collapsed into unconsciousness.

He calmly picked up a handkerchief from the table and wiped the blood from his hands, as if it were an everyday occurrence. Once satisfied with his cleanliness, he stood up, straightened his coat, and walked out of the room, stepping over her unconscious body without a second glance.

His Mercedes-Maybach Exelero was already waiting outside. He got into the car and headed to his office, his demeanor as composed as ever, as if nothing unusual had just transpired.

Willems Industry

In the bustling office, employees were engaged in their usual activitiesβ€”working, chatting, or idly scrolling through their phones. Everything seemed routine until an employee burst in, breathless.

"The boss is coming!" he announced.

Panic swept through the office like a wave. Everyone scrambled to their desks, pretending to be deeply engrossed in work. The atmosphere turned tense, the casual chatter replaced by an anxious silence.

The sound of footsteps echoed through the office, sending a chill down the employees' spines. Jack Willems entered, clad in a black suit and polished leather shoes, his perfectly styled hair glistening with gel. His mere presence was enough to make the women sigh, though none dared to meet his cold, emotionless blue eyes.

Behind him trailed his secretary and a group of business partners, all dressed in black suits, yet none could match the imposing aura of Jack Willems. He walked through the office like a king surveying his domain, exuding an icy authority that made the temperature seem to drop.

Without acknowledging anyone, he headed straight for his private elevator. The moment the doors closed behind him, the office collectively exhaled in relief.

Jack entered his luxurious office, followed closely by his secretary, Max, who was dutifully informing him about the day's meetings.

"Sir, all the members have arrived and are in the meeting room," Max said.

Jack gave a slight nod, his attention seemingly elsewhere. As Max continued briefing him on the details of the meeting, he couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off.

"Fire the employee who warned everyone about my arrival," Jack ordered suddenly, his tone leaving no room for argument.

Max blinked in surprise. "But… how did he know?" he wondered silently. Jack hadn’t looked at a single person as he walked through the office.

"Is there something you want to ask, Max?" Jack’s piercing gaze locked onto him.

Max immediately straightened. "No, sir," he replied quickly.

"Then what are you waiting for?" Jack’s voice was laced with impatience.

Max understood the unspoken command. "Nothing, sir," he responded before quickly exiting the office.

As he walked away, Jack’s voice followed him.

"And inform everyoneβ€”if I catch anyone pretending to work again…" He trailed off, but the threat was clear.

Max knew better than to question his boss. Jack Willems noticed everything, even when he didn’t appear to. Pretending to work might have been the least of their worries now.

"Yes, sir," Max replied before hurrying off to carry out the orders.
