Chapter 2

Camilla Idaila Kings is the only child of Fernando and Alessia Kings, owners of Kingston stores, the biggest chain store in the whole of South and North America and the USA.

The twenty-nine-year-old drop-dead gorgeous, famous, Italian clothing-designer had been in the fashion industry for fifteen years.

She was nicknamed 'Camilla heartbreaker' by the public, due to the numerous turndowns she had given to countless men of high standing in Los Angeles.

She had no interest in pursuing a relationship, instead choosing to focus her efforts on building her brand, Tombell® Fashion House.

Camilla is a total workaholic, goal-getter, and an excessively blunt person, who has never been in a relationship with any man.

So it was a big deal for her to wake up in such a compromising situation with the man she dislikes the most; Alexander Cena.

Sure enough, he was handsome, tall,

muscular, has a tan body with thick dark brown hair, a charming smile, and gorgeous blue eyes that were like the color of the Caribbean sea.

However, those physical attributes didn't seem to attract Camilla.

She saw him as spoiled, rich, arrogant, rude, self-centered and so many other things, which was unacceptable for the young woman. She never tried to pretend to like him whenever their paths crossed.

"What have you done to me?" Camilla muttered, her arms instinctively wrapped around herself. She could feel the cold sweat on her body and a slight throbbing on top of her head, what felt like an immense headache.

She took a quick peek at what she was wearing under the peach-colored duvet and saw that she was naked from the top, down; her bra and panties were gone.

"I...I...I didn't know it was you. How did you get into my room? You're not supposed to be here." Alexander spoke, sounding completely confused.

"What do you mean by your room?! This is my-'' She trailed off, looking around the hotel suite again and realizing that her suit wasn't as big as this. Also, the furniture arrangement and decorations were a lot different from the room she had slept in the previous night.

"You did this. You set me up. I always knew you were many things, Alexander, but I never knew a rapist was one of them!" She screamed at him, suddenly feeling more angry than hurt by the revelation.

"Stop screaming at me? I can explain!" Alexander pleaded, clearly panicking. The last thing he wanted to happen was for Camilla to think that he set her up and had forced himself on her.

"Explain what?! You....you...Pervertito!(Pervert!)" She went on and on, calling him different kinds of names in her native language, and not giving him any chance to explain himself.

Meanwhile, in the same hotel, Mariah Collins, a popular blogger, and owner of celebrity gossip digital magazine, 'Snitched Tongue' was also lodged.

She was able to secure a hotel reservation for the night before the BOLD Fashion Feast opening day, thanks to the help of her husband, Jack Collins.

But it was the end of the event last night and unfortunately for her, it seemed like everyone was at their best.

No one wanted the public attention Mariah was going to bring to them if their issues found their way into her magazine. So they avoided creating any sort of scandal. Or was it that she missed out on what happened?

She was currently sitting in her hotel suite, sipping her coffee that early morning and thinking about what to make out of the little news gathered at the event when her phone rang.

It was a private number, still, she picked up the call since her curious mind would not let her ignore whoever it was that was calling her.

"Hello." She said as she answered her phone in a tiny voice, barely audible to others but to her, it was like a booming voice.

"Who is this?" The woman asked, her lips pausing into a thin line as she waited patiently for an answer.

There were several seconds of silence before an accented voice came through the other end of the line as the caller spoke.

"Are you still at Houston Grande hotel?" The deep baritone asked in an Italian accent.

"Yes, I am. But who are you and why did you ask?" She asked again but the fellow on the other side of the line dismissed it.

"Good." He replied, his tone turning more serious.

She furrowed her brows slightly, trying to decipher what his intentions were as she waited for him to speak again.

"Go to room 109 now. Something is waiting for you."

With those words, he hung up right before she could ask him the question on her mind.

The ominous tone of the message made her curious. What could be awaiting her in room 109? She thought as she pocketed her cell phone, took a sip of her coffee, and picked up her purse.

Inside were two essential items she always carried with her: her lip gloss and a spy pen camera, a gift from her husband for her 26th birthday, to aid her in her work as a blogger.

After that, she left her suite and headed downstairs toward the lobby.

Her nerves grew exponentially with each passing second as she walked down the corridor until she stood in front of the door to the said room,109.

She hesitated to knock for a few seconds, wondering if it was a real lead or just someone messing with her.

She then took a deep breath and placed soft knocks on the door, waiting for a few minutes for someone to answer her but none came.

After standing there for a few more minutes, and having knocked on the door a few more times, she noticed that the door was slightly opened.

She then turned the handle of the door and with a slight push from her, it opened slowly, then she slipped in to see what scoop awaited her…
