Chapter 2
Gabby Zack, Carlos' junior sister, sat down in the poolside of Carlos mansion with Carlos friends, wearing her bikini suit and eating watermelon as they gist.
"So who's in for a hot female gist,” Gabby asked, sitting up on her seat and glancing at Carlos’s friends.
"Gabby, we've heard the slot already.” Eric, one of Carlos' friends told her.
"And it's high time you start having female friends,” Blake added.
"Hey!” Gabby raised her hand to silence him. "Poke your nose in your business, female friends my butt, they are all backstabbers, I don't need any friends.
"We've also heard that countless times."Garret chipped in with a smile, he loves teasing her.
"Gabby, they don't ruin your friendship, you do,” Eric told her with a straight face.
"Eric, you’ve said that countless times too.” Gabby sighs and relaxes on her sit.
"Girls are just tiring to talk to.” Blake shook his head.
"Blake, are you indirectly saying something offensive to my ear.” Gabby glared at him.
"With all due respect, I'm sorry.” Blake apologizes, even though Gabby can be a brat at times but she was like a sister to them.
Garret who was going through his phone saw a girl's picture as he blurted out. "Wow, she's beautiful."
"Can I see?” Gabby told him she wanted to compare this girl Garret was praising with herself.
"No... We know what you normally do, so not today.
"Aish... talking to you all is hopeless.” She scoffs as she gives up fighting to see the picture.
"I just pissed you up right now.” Garrett smiled satisfied as if he won a medal.
"You seem to have forgotten how I act once I'm pissed off.” Gabby glared at him.
"Garrett, don't push her please, we need some moment of silence here.” Eric laughed.
"Eric!” Gabby exclaimed with a furrowed brow.
"What! Don't look at me that way.” Eric said scared as his heartbeat became fast, whenever Gabby was in this mood his hair was always in trouble.
"Don't worry Eric.” Gabby smiled. "I won't lash out, or else my brother would be mad at me for hurting his friend.”
"I thought it was my hair again.” Eric breathes a sigh of relief.
"Don't worry I won't drag it anymore, I hate my brother's earful words, he nags a slot, so I'm not cut out for that today.” Gabby stood up and stretched her body. "You all are just a group of boring dumbasses. I'm out of here, and swimming will do me better than sitting here.” She heads to the swimming pool.
"I'm glad you're finally going off,” Blake calls out
"I'm sure you are,” Gabby said without looking back.
"Will you need some juice?"Eric offers.
"Save it, Eric.” Gabby sighed.
"You need friends Gabby,” Garrett added.
"Garrett, you need to leave this country too,” Gabby told him as she entered the pool. "Blake searches for a new club party for tonight."
"You're hopeless Gabby. Study your books tonight and forget night clubs.” Blake told her with good intentions.
"Do something useful with your time,” Eric added.
"I'm doing that now, nights are for parties.” Gabby said with smiles.
"Gabby no night clubs for you tonight.” Carlos who just came back and overheard her talking about night clubs told her with his restrained voice.
"Here comes the boss.” Gabby sighs as she enters the water and swims off.
"Thank goodness you're here,” Eric said. His friends sat up as soon as he walked close to them.
"What took you so long,” Garrett asked him.
"I was with Kelsey,” Carlos said as he sat down.
"Please don't leave us with your sister next time, she is so uncontrollable,” Blake told him.
"She's 20years but she still behaves so childishly,” Carlos told them with a smile.
"Not childish, she's a total brat.” Eric frowned.
"I know.” Carlos smiled. He knows his sister so well.
"She needs friends,” Garrett added.
"No. She needs to be sent out of this country.” Carlos told them.
"I heard that one,” Gabby called out from the pool as they all laughed.
"Enjoy your pool, little mermaid,” Carlos told her.
"Thanks, land wolf,” Gabby calls out before diving in for another swim.
Carlos smiled again before facing his friends with a serious face.
"Okay, now it's time for business." They all sat up with serious looks now on their faces.
Triffany visited her cousin Nick Jade at his house, which was where she loves going whenever she was bored of being at home. She sat with Allison, Nick's sister, chatting while Nick, who was almost a game addict, sat playing his video game. Triffany couldn't help but scoff.
"You're not concern about getting a job, what's your secret, you don't have to hide it from us,” Triffany told him curious about what his plans for the future would be.
"Video games," Nick said casually without looking at her.
Triffany was confused. "Video games are not a Company or a job."
"Yes, it's a game."
"You did not study for four years to play a game,” Triffany told him. She was scared that she can't find a job and now her cousin too would be hopeless just playing a game all his life.
Nick pause his game, almost reading her thoughts as he faces her and shook his head. "You don't have a clue Triffany."
"Then make me do it.” She lifts her chin.
"I'm going to make games.” Nick folded his arm and said seriously.
"Games?"
Nick knew she was confused, and he knew Triffany has always been this way since he knew her. She was naive so he just smiled and explained gently to her. "Yes games, I studied art, so I'm going to be a cartoonist and make videos games."
"Wow! You figured that all by yourself.” Triffany can't help smiling as she was amazed at how well he planned himself. Nick just nods proudly. "I'm jealous.” She said finally now realizing that she was more pitiful.
"You’ve always been," Nick said with a smile.
"Don't be so full of yourself, I haven't always been.” She frowned. Nick smiled and turned to continue his game. "Since you studied art and want to be a cartoonist, then I also studied art and management, what should I do?” Triffany wondered out loud as Allison and Nick but laughed. "What's funny?” Triffany looked at them.
Allison, who has been watching them silently and now laughing, told her. "You are."
"That's true, no matter what no Company wants to accept me, I'd just go into modeling since I'm pretty," Triffany said with a smile for the new idea she just had. "I'm not pretty?"
Nick, who was still playing his game, said honestly. "Sure you are, and I almost kissed you at the school party three years ago, because you were so charming and dazzling."
"You're right I'm charming and dazzling.” Triffany sighed not satisfied. "Why don't they see my beauty, huh?"
Nick laughed at her question. "That's because you're clumsy."
Triffany furrowed her brow and threw the banana peel she was holding at him. "Who is clumsy?"
"Hey! I'm older than you here.” Nick told her, still playing his game. Triffany threw a cup at him again. "Triffany will you stop, I'm about to win this match.” He told her.
She was distracting him and he could stop her since he was so focused on his game.
Triffany who was enjoying her moment kept throwing things at him. "Apologize first.” She told him.
"Okay I'm sorry, you're not clumsy, so please stop throwing things at me, continue your discussion with Allison.” He told her.
Triffany stopped and stood up. "Well focus on your game.” She was bored of staying here already.
Allison looked at Triffany who was picking up her bag. "Are you going somewhere?” She asked.
"This place is boring, I need to take a walk, never know if I could see something better to do.” She told her.
"Do you want me to tag along,” Allison asked.
Triffany smiled, she has always loved being with Allison. "I'd love that."
Allison stood up immediately. "I'll go change my dress and be out soon.” She said before leaving for her room.
