Chapter5: Piercing Eyes

I was on my way to a comfort room when I passed by an empty room. It reminds me of Sebe and that girl. Funny because now, it was Damon who was on that spot. Was this a sex room or what?

I raised an eyebrow when I saw Damon leaning over the woman. The woman was confined to both of Damon's hands leaning against the wall.

Why do I have to see these things?

They looked in my direction when they heard my footsteps.

I just walked straight, like a robot, yes. I pretended that I didn't see them. Such things should be ignored. When I passed, I heard the woman giggle.

It was not long when someone grabbed my arm. It was Damon. He looked at me coldly.

What now? Can't he just stay with the girl and let me take the comfort room?

"Yes?" I asked. He leaned closer, making me lean against the wall.

"Bloodstain." He said huskily. I inhaled his breath and I started to shake.

"Huh?" Confused, I said. But I was even more surprised when someone quickly snapped at him.

"What are you doing?!" a loud and thunderous voice escaped from Sebe. Damon's collared hands were shaking.

Really? What were these guys up to me? I am scared and nervous now. I feel like they were about to start a fight again. Damon coolly put his hands inside his pocket. They're looking so pretty like devils right now.

"Afraid I might take your woman?" He chuckled. "She has a bloodstain on her skirt. I just wanted to tell her. Don't overact, dude." He continued.

Now, this is even embarrassing. I felt disgust all over me. I could not speak. I just bent down and bit my lip. When I looked up, I saw Damon leaving but Sebe remained.

"Uh, I'm leaving," I said.

"You have a bloodstain." He speaks.

Even though I'm still shy, I can't do anything. "I can manage myself."

I sighed when he took off the long sleeve he was wearing. He had a black shirt inside. "Wrap that in your waist and follow me." He said as he started to walk away.

This was a nice act coming in from him, I must admit.

I immediately put his long sleeve on my waist and rolled it up my waist. I just followed him as he opened a door of a huge room near the library. There was a 'Sebe Montemayor's Office' signage hanging when I looked at the door. This is his office—all white and clean. There are bookshelves on the side and there is a door in the back that I think is the bathroom.

He pressed his phone and talked to someone while I was just standing in front of the table.

"Please bring me a sanitary napkin and a pair of clothes." He said on the other line.

"Sit down." He provided bottled juice and medicine.

I raised an eyebrow. "Huh?"

"Pain reliever. I know it hurts." He said to me. He knows. How could he not? He has lots of women.

Moments later, a woman delivered all the stuff that Sebe asked for.

"You may use the bathroom to change," he offered. I know I can do this on my own but he, doing these things to me made me feel so special. And I know I shouldn't feel this way. I already told myself that all these should stop. But stopping seemed to be so hard to do.

I guess I'm going along.

"Sebe… thank you."

"All for you." I got chills at what he said. I immediately went into the bathroom and changed.

Bland, dull and boring. That three word describes my life before. But now I have a reason to wake up with a smile. Even I, do not know why I am feeling this. Sebastian, what have you done to me?

"What's bothering you, Nat?" Kylie's question brought me back to my mind.

"Fucking earth, what have you done to fucking Natalia?!" Jen exclaimed and took her shot.

An ear-breaking sound filled my ears. Disco lights blinded my eyes. People were dancing and swaying their bodies with the beat of the sounds on the dancefloor.

"Nothing," I said as I sipped my Blue Boracay drink. We're here in Alobar. A bar near our university.

"Really? I think you're not. Tell us what's bothering you," she intrigued.

Should I tell them? Nothing's wrong with that, right? Besides, they were my friends.

"Come on Nat! What friends are for?" Jen persuaded me as she clung her arms to the man next to her.

Less talk, less mistake.

"Some other time." I decided not to tell them instead.

"It's about Sebe, right?" I was startled when Kylie came closer to me. Damn, she's observant.

"How did you know?" I whispered back.

I did not deny it anymore.

"I saw you and how he looks at you." She shrugged. "How do you feel when he's around?" She asked. I pouted. This is not the right place and time to talk about such things.

"Let's talk about it some other time," I excused myself so that Kylie wouldn't continue with her questions.

"Cold," she answered. I'm used to this. I mean, myself. Like what they say, I'm cold and stiff. Since my dad died, I guess I have lost my cheerfulness and sweetness.

"Let's dance instead!"

"Come on!" I got up from my seat because the two of them were already there on the dancefloor.

We've been in this bar a few times. And not because I'm a nerd doesn't mean that I don't drink. I do, but only the mild ones. I also limit myself. I don't want to look stupid because of too much intoxication and alcohol.

I joined them on the dance floor and for a while, I forgot being me. We're laughing and giggling at the same time.

"Woah! Nice one, Natalia!" Jen shouted. I laughed.

His dark piercing eyes were all on me. Like I'm the only one dancing here on the crowded dance floor. He was holding a drink and was leaning against the railing on the second floor of the bar. My gaze suddenly shifted to the girl beside him.
