Chapter 4: It Turns Out He Is Actually a Young Master from a Wealthy Family

Mary tore up the divorce papers and went to work, leaving the man in the suit staring in shock at her retreating figure.

She stumbled away, wiping the tears from her eyes. A sore pain radiated from her heart. She took a deep breath, laughing and crying at the same time.

Matthe was really ruthless!

When Mary finally sat down to work, a colleague immediately came over and said, "Mary, did you hear that our company has been bought ! The person who bought it is the third son of the Montagu family, who had disappeared earlier. His name seems to be Matthew Montagu."

Mary was stunned, "What's his name?"

"Matthew Montagu. I saw his photo; he is so handsome! They say he was missing for a year and just recently returned to the Montagu family. As soon as he came back, he started making big changes to the branch here, and our company was taken over straight away. Oh my God, having such a handsome man as a boss, I would wake up laughing from my dreams!"

Mary took out her phone, and the first notification was the return of Matthew, the third son of the Montagu family, who had been missing for a year.

The man in the photo was wearing a black suit. His features were sharp and handsome, with piercing eyes, exuding an airof nobility and coldness.

It turned out that Matthew was the third son of the top wealthy family in Lindwood City, the Montagu family!

Mary couldn't describe her feelings at that moment. She just felt it was incredibly ironic.

Although her husband Matthew had such an extraordinary background, he wanted to divorce her as soon as he returned to his family.

He wanted to be responsible for another girl.

Mary clutched her phone, her eyes slightly red.

"Go, go, go to the big conference room for a meeting!" At this moment, the manager suddenly appeared, and everyone immediately grabbed their things and headed to the large conference room.

The huge conference room, which could accommodate five hundred people, was a bit noisy. Then, the general manager walked in, and the room fell silent.

"Next, let's welcome our new president, Mr. Matthew Montagu!" the general manager said excitedly.

The door to the conference room opened, and a noble man in a black suit strode in.

Mary sat in the back row, looking at the man who seemed as noble as a deity. He seemed very strange to her.

Matthew's brows were cold, and his voice was magnetic but without any warmth. He immediately began to give orders.

The meeting lasted for more than three hours, and people left one after another. Mary also got up to leave.

"Stop." At this moment, Matthew's deep voice came from behind her.

Mary paused and turned to face him, pursing her lips, and still asked, "Mr. Montagu, what can I do for you?"

Her attitude was distant as if they were just strangers.

Matthew, holding a file, glanced at her, "Come to my office."

After speaking, he left first.

Mary took a deep breath and followed him.

As the office door closed, Matthew frowned at her, "Why did you tear up the papers?"

Mary stared at him, "I haven't congratulated you yet, Mr. Montagu. Congratulations on returning to your wealthy family. You wouldn't haveto struggle for a living any longer."

There was a hint of sarcasm in Mary's tone.

She suspected that Matthew had probably regained his memory long ago; otherwise, he couldn't have returned to the Montagu family and started work so quickly.

Matthew had kept it from her. In fact, he had deceived her!

Matthew's expression changed as he stared at her, "Mary, we don't have any conflicts. Can't we part on good terms?"

"No!" Mary suddenly became agitated, tears welling up in her eyes, ready to spill over at any moment, "Matthew, I never thought you were the third son of the Montagu family! When did you regain your memory? When did you begin to speak again? As your wife, your closest confidant, I knew nothing of it!"
