Chapter 7 Too Easy to Get

Peter was determined to win over Chloe.

He was the manager in charge of this area, and because of his position, he had toyed with many women.

At first, those women resisted.

However, after a while, the women who sought orders from him would come to him willingly.

Jessica also wanted to make this happen. Once it did, and Peter was satisfied, she would also benefit.

She came over, pulled Chloe aside, and persuaded, "Chloe, I know you've suffered all these years, but now that you've regained your looks and become beautiful, you should use your advantages. A woman's youth only lasts a few years. If you miss it, it's gone."

"I have a husband. It's impossible." Chloe firmly refused.

Jessica immediately got angry. "Chloe, don't be ungrateful. If you offend Mr. Jones, your family can never cooperate with Legion Lord in the future."

"Larry..."

Chloe approached Larry.

Larry ignored them, pointed to the entrance of Legion Tower, and said, "Go ahead, You’re here to meet the chairman, not a manager. No need to take him seriously."

"Who are you?" Peter glared at Larry.

"Get lost."

Larry said just one word.

Larry was the Dragon Lord of Southwild, someone like Peter couldn't compare to him.

At the top floor of Legion Tower, in the chairman’s office, Leo had been waiting since early morning, waiting for Chloe.

However, after waiting for a long time, there was no sign of Chloe.

He was anxious and personally went downstairs to the reception to inquire, only to find that no one named Chloe had come to see him.

He was very anxious. Chloe was the Dragon Lord's wife. If he neglected her, not only he but even the Evans family in the Capital would be doomed.

Leo walked out, intending to wait at the door.

As soon as he reached the door, he saw Peter talking to someone. He looked closely and saw Larry, which made him tremble all over, almost collapsing to the ground. He wiped the cold sweat off his face and quickly walked over.

"Dragon..."

Before he could speak, Larry glared at him.

Leo immediately understood.

Larry said to Chloe, "Chloe, is that the chairman of Legion Lord? What are you waiting for? Hurry up. Whether I can stay in the Lewis family depends on you."

Chloe looked over and saw the bald man walking over. Her eyes lit up. Yes, this was Leo, the chairman of Legion Group.

Jessica, however, burst out laughing. "What a joke. The chairman is in his office right now."

Peter's face also darkened, and he said, "Chloe, I've said all I need to. If you don't go to the hotel, you'll never get an order from Legion Lord in your life."

Peter was determined to get Chloe.

He was the manager responsible for liaising with other groups for Legion Lord.

Except for core partners, the extra orders from Legion Lord needed his approval to be given to any group. As long as he obstructed the Lewis family, Chloe could never get an order from Legion Lord.

Leo walked over, sternly scolding, "What are you doing? Don't you have work to do?"

Hearing the voice, Jessica and Peter both turned around.

Seeing Leo behind them, their faces instantly changed.

"Mr. Evans." Peter stammered, sweat forming on his forehead. If Leo found out what he had done, he would definitely be fired.

Now he could only pray that Leo hadn't heard what he just said.

Leo placed his hands behind his back and said, "What's going on?"

Larry nudged the stunned Chloe.

Chloe immediately snapped out of it and said, "Mr. Evans, nice to meet you. I'm Chloe from Lewis's Everjoy Company. I'm here today representing Everjoy Company, hoping to cooperate with Legion Lord and get some orders."

Facing a figure like Leo, Chloe felt a bit insecure.

Sunset City was known as Pharma City.

In Pharma City, there were tens of thousands of medicinal processing companies, and these companies relied on major medicinal groups to make profits.

Everjoy Company was not large and had no qualifications to cooperate with a group like Legion Lord.

"I'm asking why you two are here," Leo said coldly, looking at Jessica and Peter.

Larry, who had been silent, said calmly, "My wife came to discuss business with Legion Lord, but this manager wanted to take advantage. He abused his power and didn't give Everjoy Company a chance. I think Legion Lord, as a big group, must be fair in this regard."

"You're right."

Leo nodded and said, "You make a good point. It seems that there is indeed corruption within Legion Lord. You are Peter, right? Go to the finance department, settle your salary, and get out."

Peter was instantly stunned.

Was he fired just because of that?

"Mr. Evans, don't listen to his nonsense. The Lewis family is just a small business, not qualified to cooperate with Legion Lord. Legion Lord's orders are only for capable companies. They were pestering me, so I made excuses to make them back off. Mr. Evans, I work hard for the company."

"Did you not hear me? Do I need to repeat myself? And you, get lost too." Leo pointed at Jessica.

Then, looking at Larry and Chloe with a smile, he said, "You're Chloe from Lewis's Everjoy Company, right? , Let's go to my office. I'll personally discuss the order with you."

Leo made a welcoming gesture.

Chloe was a bit stunned.

When had the chairman of the Legion Group become so accommodating?

Larry nudged her and said, "What are you standing there for? This is a rare opportunity. Whether I can stay in the Lewis family depends on your performance."

Chloe finally snapped out of it and hurriedly nodded. "Okay, Mr. Evans; no problem."

Chloe was a bit nervous.

She had rarely gone out in the past ten years.

Although she had read many professional books and learned a lot of professional knowledge, it was her first time personally discussing business.

What's more, the person she was talking to was the chairman of Legion Group.

Lacking confidence, she turned to look at Larry, her face showing hesitation. "Larry, I'm scared."

"Mr. Evans personally invited you. There's nothing to be afraid of?" Larry pushed Chloe and said, "Go ahead. I'll wait for you in the car."

"Ms. Lewis, please." Leo slightly bent his body and made a welcoming gesture.

This scene left Jessica and Peter dumbfounded.

Outside Legion Group, there were many media reporters waiting every day. This scene was captured by many reporters.

This was definitely big news.

Who was Leo?

He was the chairman of Legion Lord.

Even the Four Great Families had to respect Leo greatly. Now, the chairman of Legion Lord, Leo, was personally inviting a woman.

Who was this woman?

Which family was she from?

Why had they never seen her before?

Under Leo's invitation, Chloe walked into Legion Tower.

Larry, on the other hand, went to the roadside and got into Frank's car.

Sitting in the passenger seat, he took out a cigarette, lit it, and casually tossed one to Frank.

Frank took it, lit it, took a deep drag, and asked, "Dragon Lord, is this necessary? With just one word, the Evans family would give you Legion Lord. There's no need to do this."

Larry blew out a smoke ring. "I don't need Legion Lord. If I gave it to Chloe, she might not like it. I just need to stand behind her, let her do what she loves, and support her fully. And how many times have I told you, there's no Dragon Lord in Sunset City, only Larry."

"Yes, Mr. Bennett. I'm used to calling you that. It is hard to change."

At the top floor of Legion Tower, Leo personally brought Chloe to the office and poured her a cup of coffee.

This scared Chloe, and she hurriedly said, "Mr. Evans, I can do it myself."

"Ms. Lewis, sit down; don't move. I'll pour you a cup of coffee. When you come to Legion Lord, don't be restrained, just feel at home."

Chloe was flattered. "Mr. Evans, I'm here to discuss business."

"I know, have a cup of coffee first. I'll arrange for someone to draft the contract right away. By the way, is a ten-million-dollar order enough? If not, I can add more."

Chloe was stunned.

She hadn't even spoken, and Leo was already offering a ten-million-dollar order. When had it become this easy to secure a deal with the Legion Group?

Seeing Chloe's expression, Leo thought he had offered too little and immediately said, "Is it not enough? Then I'll add more. How about fifty million dollars?"

"Ten million dollars is enough," Chloe hurriedly said.

Fifty million dollars?

That was an astronomical figure.

A fifty-million-dollar order with a twenty percent profit margin would mean a ten-million-dollar profit for the Lewis family.

With the current capacity of the Lewis family, they couldn't handle such a large order.

A ten-million-dollar order was enough to keep Lewis's Everjoy Company busy.

Leo was very efficient. Soon, the secretary came in with the contract, and Chloe signed it in a daze.

Before she left, Leo handed her his business card and said, "Ms. Lewis, this is my business card. You can call me if you have any problems."

Throughout the entire process, Leo never mentioned Larry.

He knew Larry's identity, but it seemed Chloe didn't. As someone who had climbed to the top of the Legion Group, Leo knew better than to reveal Larry's identity without his consent.

Holding the contract for the Legion Lord order, Chloe walked out of Legion Tower, still feeling like she was dreaming.

This order was too easy to get.

She hadn't even spoken, and Legion Lord had already given it to her.

She got into the car.

"Larry, it seemed Leo is trying to please me. I didn't even say anything, and he gave me a ten-million-dollar order, even wanted to give me fifty million dollars."

Larry smiled and said, "You must have met the chairman of Legion Lord before."

"No, I hardly made any friends in the past ten years," Chloe said, pretending to be a bit annoyed, then looked at Larry with bright eyes. "Larry, is Leo trying to please me because of you?"
