Chapter Four - Jealousy

Baby Girl - Serena

Daddy had Mom and I moved into his house within the week. He'd even taken care of breaking the lease which still had a few months on it. His apartment was huge and took up the whole floor of a sleek apartment building downtown. Daddy had his own business and was very affluent. There was so much going on that I really hadn't had a lot of time to get to know what he actually does for a living. Though, we did take time in the evenings to get to know one another. I just haden't gotten around to finding out about his job.

Not only had Daddy moved us in, he had me updating the furniture around the house to my own liking. He wanted me comfortable, he said. It made me wonder if an old girlfriend had done the decorating before me. I tried not to be jealous. He was older than me and not a monk. But I felt it was unfair that he'd fucked a lot of women and I would only ever have him. The sex was better than fantastic though, so what was I really missing out on?

Mom had her own room and a nurse to dote on her twenty-four-seven. She was able to go out on her balcony and get some sun and feel the breeze. At our apartment, it had been difficult to get her outside since we had stairs. We had lived there a long time, and she was healthy when we first rented there. Over the years, she got worse and worse until every day was a struggle. Now I only had to worry about pleasing Daddy. So far, that has been a piece of cake. He liked all the changes I had made in the apartment, and I was always available for him, as he demanded. That part was no hardship either.

He was taking me out tonight, and he'd sent me a dress and some shoes. When I opened the boxes, I was stunned. The dress covered more than the one I wore to the club the night we met but at the same time, it revealed more. I was beside myself with glee as I put it on. He'd also sent lingerie, a strapless bra and thigh highs with a garter belt. No panties, of course. The shoes matched the dress and weren't sky-high, thank God, or I would embarrass both of us trying to walk in them. I'd taken the time to straighten my hair and left it down to fall around my shoulders and down my back. I kept my make-up minimal. I wasn't an expert, so I didn't try anything fancy. I did add mascara, some lipstick and slicked some color on my cheeks. All very subtle.

The dress was gold. It shimmered like precious metal as I moved. I grabbed a small clutch Daddy had included and walked to the living area to wait for him to come home from work. Mother barely needed me now, and I'd told her earlier that I would be going out. The nurse would bring her dinner soon. It was like a weight off my shoulders not to have the sole responsibility for her care. I felt a little selfish, but Mother seemed to be doing fine and was in good spirits these days.

I fudged a little when I told her about Daddy. I said we had been dating a while instead of telling her I had only just met him. Who dropped everything and moved in with a guy in only a few hours? Maybe just me, but it seemed the right thing to do, and I was having the time of my life. Especially when I told my boss I quit. That was epic. Daddy had taken me out after that for a celebratory lunch. We banged in the car in the parking lot after because he was excited about my excitement. He really did love taking care of me, in all ways.

I heard the front door unlock and Daddy walked in, right on time. He wore an expensive suit and smelled divine. I would never get tired of looking at him. He was magnetic. His dark hair was mussed, probably because he kept running his fingers through it during his work day. He gave me a look that had me wet instantly. He strode across the room and pulled me into his arms for a chaste kiss.

"Hey, Baby Girl", he said in a husky voice. "You look amazing, just like I knew you would. All the men in the restaurant will want you, but they can't have what's mine."

Just that voice had me pressing my thighs together to keep the wetness from running down my legs.

"Hi, Daddy," I breathed. But then I noticed something and I faltered.

Lipstick.

Above his collar, on the side of his throat.

Not mine.

A faint scent of an alluring perfume, feminine.

I jumped out of his embrace, surprising him.

"Paul, whose lips have been touching your skin?" It sounded asinine to my own ears, but that's what I said before I had time to think. Then I added, "Are you cheating on me or am I the other woman?"

His eyes hardened. "Paul? You aren't allowed to call me by name. I'm Daddy to you unless we are in public and, even then, I think I want everyone to know I'm your Daddy, little girl." His voice was hard as he added, "Are you ready to go?"

Oh shit. He completely disregarded my questions. This was bad, wasn't it? This was so bad. He didn't even try to wipe at the spot on his neck that I kept staring at.

I breathed deeply, trying but failing to keep calm. "No, I don't think I am. I may be young, but I'm not stupid. Neither will I be treated as such. Please tell me why another woman was touching you. For my own peace of mind, Daddy, please don't ignore my questions." My voice wavered a little. Pathetic.

"You don't trust me?" He asked, that dark look still in his eyes.

"I do. I did. We haven't known each other long. You know more about me than I know about you. Do you think that I want to ask you about this? I wish I was the kind of woman to be able to ignore infidelity, but I'm not. If I'm your girl, then I'm your only girl. If that is not the case, then Mother and I will be gone tonight." I challenged him.

"Where will you go? What will you do?" He demanded.

"I will figure things out like I have always had to do. Hard work and ingenuity are nothing new to me." I was about to cry, and I heard the warble in my voice. I turned to leave the room. I wasn't breaking down in front of him.

He grabbed me from behind and pulled me against his front. "Are you jealous?" He whispered in my ear.
