Chapter 6

Throughout the day people try to approach Allison but they are stopped by one of her friends unless they want her to know them. There are only a few that they actually let through.

After lunch they are standing around talking in the hallway, waiting to head to their next class.

“Hey Allie, I want you to meet someone. This is Josh. He is the soon-to-be-Alpha of the Black Ocean pack.” Damien says as he introduces them. “This is Allison. She’s a newbie to our pack.”

“Hey Alpha. I’m Allie. It’s nice to meet you.” Allie holds her hand out to shake his hand and they both gasp as there are sparks between their hands when they shake. Her heart does a somersault in her chest as their hands touch.

They look at each other not sure that was.

“Josh. Where’s your brother?” Chris asks with a chuckle.

“Who knows? He’s around, I’m sure. You know he doesn’t like to be in public.” Josh says with a chuckle. “I’ll introduce you to him some other time Allie. He’s really nice just shy. His name is Liam.”

“Okay. That would be great. I don’t know a lot of people.” Allie says with a sad smile and she looks down at her hands.

“We better get to class Allie.” Damien says as he motions for her to follow him.

“See you around Allie.” Josh calls from behind her. He can’t take his eyes off of her as she waves to him and leaves the hallway with her arm in Damien’s.

Josh heads off to his class and as he rounds the corner, he sees his brother. “Liam. Where were you?”

“Out.” Is all he says and won’t look Josh in the eye.

“Well, you missed meeting the new girl.”

Liam snaps his eyes to her brother quickly at the mention of a new girl. “What new girl?”

“She is new to Damien’s pack. She is the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen. Man, you have to see her.”

“Introduce me later?”

“Duh. I shook her hand and I could have sworn there were sparks but I didn’t feel the mate bond. I wonder how old she is.”

“Really? We will have to find out.” Liam says with a smile on his face.

Josh and Liam nod to each other and then head to class making it a point to find her after school. Josh decides he is going to text Damien.

Josh to Damien: Want to hang out after school?

Damien: Just me or everyone that rides with me?

Josh: Everyone that rides with you of course LOL

Damien: Sure we can do that. I’ll just text them to make sure.

Josh: Alright let me know. Maybe we can go to the arcade or something?

Damien: Sounds good man. I’ll get back to you for sure

Damien to Allie, Chris, Heather, and Sophia: Hang out with Josh and Liam after school?

Heather, Chris, Sophia: Sure

Allie: Who is Liam?

Damien to Allie: Oh sorry, that’s Josh’s brother

Allie: Oh sorry. Sure whatever you all want to do

Damien: No need to be sorry Allie. We’ll have fun. I’ll text the Alpha and let him know.

Allie: Thanks Damien.

Damien: Of course.

Damien to Alpha Jasper: Alpha, we are all going to go to the arcade after school with some friends so Allie will not be home right after school. Is that okay?

Alpha: Yes of course. Take her to have some fun. Try to be back for supper.

Damien: Of course, if we aren’t I will text you.

Alpha: Thanks Damien. And I’m sure Christian will be following you anyway.

Damien: Thank you.

Damien to Josh: We’re all in

Josh: Good. See you all at the arcade after school

After school the group all hops into Damien’s jeep again and go to the arcade. They are there about 20 minutes before Josh comes up to the group with another guy that looks just like himself.

“Allie this is my brother Liam.”

“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Alpha.” Allie says as she puts her hand out to shake. She has the same reaction with Liam that she did with Josh and is taken aback that she has the same reaction with both brothers but no one else.

“The pleasure is all mine, Allie.” Liam says with a sexy smirk on his face.

Both Josh and Liam are very muscular and have blond hair that sits just above their ears. Josh’s hair is slightly shorter than Liam’s. Josh’s hair is a messy spiked look while Liam’s is slicked back. They both have piercing blue eyes and Allie is sure their eyes could melt a glazier.

Allie keeps finding her gaze on the brothers and she cannot figure out why that is. Every time they look at her, she feels her stomach flutter with butterflies and her face heats up.

They all play games and joke around for a while before Allie finds herself in a simulator game with both brothers away from everyone else.

“Allie, you are beautiful.” Josh says as he runs his fingers down her cheek.

Liam slaps his hand away. “Don’t scare her off man.”

Allie giggles and blushes but doesn’t say anything. She doesn’t feel scared with them. She feels at peace, like she can trust them more than anyone else in the world.

Liam and Josh look at each other and then to her.

“How old are you?” Liam asks Allie with a smile on his face.

“17, I’ll be 18 in 3 weeks. How old are you?”

“We turned 18 a month ago.” Josh says with a smile.

“Have you found your mate yet?” Allie asks sadly as she looks down. She feels her heart constrict but is not sure why.

“I think we just found her.” Liam says with a smile.
