"What!!" Liam exclaimed bewildered by her request.

"What day is it today?" She asked eagerly

"The 23rd" Liam answered looking at her like she was insane or something.

"What year is it?" She asked again

"2020" he replied and then she smiled. Her assumptions were correct. It was 2 years before the wedding and her wedding was in exactly 2 weeks. She had to start acting fast.

She jacked off his phone from him and dialled her best friend Trisha's number.

"Did you hit your head too hard on the floor or something?" Liam asked as he furrowed his eyebrows staring at her blankly and trying to take in what had just happened in the last few minutes.

Krystal didn't seem to be bothered about Liam or what he was thinking, she dialled her best friend's number and asked her to meet her there.

"Here, thank you," Krystal said handing back the phone to him.

"I didn't even give you permission to use it in the first place," he said, jacking it off from her hands and dipping it into his pockets.

"First, you ask weird questions and then act weird"

"You look familiar though, where do I know you from," he asked. Krystal looked at him as he scratched his head trying to remember where he knew her from even though they had attended the same schools for almost every part of their lives and their parents had been business partners before. It was typical arrogant boy behaviour and Krystal couldn't be bothered...

"It's Krystal!!"

"Yes, I remember now," he said but Krystal was sure he didn't remember anything

"You should really go to the hospital, to get yourself checked or something" Liam advised and even though it mostly came from a place of, "I think this girl is going crazy because I knocked her down" than "I care about you"

"Yes, I will"

"Have this" Liam said handing her his credit card to make use of? At least he was nice" Krystal thought

"Thank you," she said accepting the card even though she could have easily gotten the money she needed.

"My offer still stands, you should think about it," she said and he raised his eyebrows. He thought she had been joking earlier.

"You're not joking," he asked rhetorically.

"No, I am not joking!!"

"I typed my number on your phone already, call me when you think about it," She said with a smile on her face as she thought of how her plans for revenge were going to be.

"Do you go around asking anybody who wishes to listen if they would marry you? Is that what girls do these days" he asked like he was actually expecting an answer or explanation.

"I just want you to listen to me and help me with this" Krystal was still talking when a halted close to them honking its horn. Krystal looked to the side and saw that it was Trisha.

"Call me if you decide to go with my offer and let's meet up on my wedding day. I will send you the other details later"

Liam walked back into his car still wondering what just happened.

Krystal turned to see Trisha walking toward her and she bear hugged her in excitement. Who would have thought she would see her again. Trisha felt it weird though and had immediately released herself from the hug and raised her eyebrows at her.

"What's up with you," she said as they both got into the car.

"Nothing" Krystal smiled "can't I be excited to see my best friend" she added. In Krystal's past life, she and her best friend had drifted apart after the wedding and it had also caused Trisha to move away from town.

Krystal knew Trisha was one of the only people who really loved her for who she was but when she had gotten married Collins had made sure to keep her far away from people he called bad influences to manipulate her even more.

"What were you talking about with that proud playboy?" Trisha asked as she drove off.

"I was just telling him how I wanted him to get married to me," Krystal said most nonchalantly as she turned to look outside the window.

"What!!" Trisha exclaimed as she mistakenly stepped on the brakes and they almost hit a car but she immediately controlled the stirring and Krystal was jolted in her seat as her eyes immediately were set on the road.

"Be careful!!" She said

"What did you just say!! Are you insane or something" Trisha asked glancing at Krystal but still trying to keep her eyes on the road?

"Yes, you heard right"

"Why would you even say that. First, your wedding to Collins is in 2 weeks and Secondly, we all know how notorious Liam is in the neighbourhood about breaking the heart of every girl he comes across"

"Yes I know all that you are saying, if I probably explain it to you now, you won't understand so just trust me please," Krystal said

"You remember Tania and how she almost was going all around acting all crazy when he broke up with her. The whole neighbourhood felt she went crazy and I feel she did though" Trisha explained. We all knew Tania's story. Everyone talked about it for months especially since she kept on going from one tabloid to another to tell different stories.

"She made her money through," Krystal said and we both laughed.

"They got all the stories from her" Trisha said

"If you tell me to trust you, I will, that's why we are best friends"

Krystal turned to look at Trisha as she couldn't wrap her head around how Collins had managed to convince her that she was a bad person in her life. Trisha was literarily the sweetest person in Krystal's life.

"He gave me his credit card to pay for medical bills though. I guess he isn't so bad after all"

"What happened"

"He knocked me down with his car"

"Hope you're good though," Trisha asked concerned

"I have never been better," Krystal said smiling as her revenge plan thickens in her head. It was going to all come together and she was going to make sure of it.
