Chapter 3
Today, Elisa was walking around downtown Lotus Pack. The city is located not far from the palace. The atmosphere in the city was very busy, many people set up shops to sell their goods. Starting from iron shooting shops to shops selling game products, there are also them.
Not only that, the air in this city is also very fresh. Even though it is said to be a city, the atmosphere and air are still authentic. That's because the city is surrounded by forests in the pack area. Elisa walked around looking at several shops. Elisa plans to look for some herbal plants to make potions and various medicines for herself.
Several people he met a week ago said that there was the biggest plant shop in the middle of town. The shop is between a clothing shop and a sword shop. In front of it there is a lotus flower pond that extends along the three shops.
In fact, if it weren't for helping Tiana, today Elisa would still be in her hut. The potion has been used up to heal the wounds on Tiana's body due to Rogue's bite.
The bell rang as Elisa pushed the door in. This time he wanted to look for lilies. Very beautiful red flowers. Elisa wants to use it to make a potion.
Elisa could have found it in Lili's forest. But the forest is on the other page, precisely in Walter pack. Other wolves will not be able to enter without permission from the Alpha. Apart from that, Elisa felt that today she wanted to see the view of the city. Always being in the forest made him a little bored.
"What are you looking for in my shop, Miss?" The shop owner greeted Elisa when she arrived in front of the table.
“I want three red lilies.” Elisa said while placing some silver coins.
The shop owner turned his back to Elisa, then faced her again carrying three large red lilies complete with leaves and stems.
"Are you a healer?" asked the shop owner.
"No, I'm just an ordinary person." Elisa said
“Do you have permission to buy rare items?” asked the shop owner again.
"No. I don't have that permission. I'm just an ordinary wolf who needs those flowers for myself.” Elisa explains who she is, although not everything.
"Sorry Miss, that flower is very rare I can't sell it to just anyone." Said the shop owner who looked arrogant.
"Is it true? "I'll add a few more pieces," said Elisa while taking out five silver coins.
"Sorry I can not." The shop owner pushed the silver coin towards Elisa.
Seeing that the shop owner wanted to keep the lilies back, Elisa immediately caught the shop owner's hand.
“Please, I really need it.” Elisa said a little pleadingly.
Let him be like a beggar. Now he really needed those flower petals.
"Okay. But on one condition. You have to explain to me what the function of the plants you buy is. If you don't know, then I won't give it to you.” Said the shop owner.
"Okay-." Elisa said, ending her words.
"Ben, just call me Ben."
"Okay Ben, but if I can explain it well, you have to give me one of those red lilies for free." Elisa challenged while pointing at the lily flower in Ben's hand.
" Okay. But I doubt that. Judging from your shabby appearance, you must be just a lowlife.
Even though Ben looked down on her, Elisa wasn't angry. In fact, he looked relaxed and looked at the flowers that the man was still holding.
"The roots of the plant can heal burns, the leaves can be used as a potion to relieve heat in the body." said Elisa.
“You're quite smart. But other people also know about it.” Ben still underestimated her, even now looking at Elisa with disgust.
“I won't sell it to you. Take your coins back.” Ben turned his back to Elisa and wanted to put down the lily.
“The lily can paralyze rampaging Rogues. Even half of one flower petal can make ten rogues unable to change shifts again for five days.”
Ben, who wanted to put down the flowers, turned around again. He stared at this with a surprised face.
"Who are you?" he asked.
“Just a weak Wolf.” Elisa replied casually.
“How do you know about the benefits of that flower? Not many people know about it.” said Ben Still surprised.
“Just give me what I ask for. You promised. You're not someone who doesn't keep your word, right?” Elisa looked at the man lightly.
"Of course I'm not that kind of man." Ben turned around again to take a Lily tree to give along with the three red Lily trees.
“Here, take it.” Ben said.
Elisa took it all. Elisa immediately put the plant in without the slightest hesitation.
“Thank you for this.” Elisa patted the full bag while showing it to Ben.
Elisa left the shop smiling. He was happy to be able to get a Lily flower tree for free. This tree is very difficult to obtain. Even healers would pay a high price to get it. Besides, Elisa also needs it to make poison.
“Hey wait!” shouted someone matter-of-factly.
Elisa turned her body and wrinkled her forehead slightly. Elisa saw Ben running towards her.
"What is it? Is the pay less?” Elisa asked without further ado.
“Ah no, I just wanted to give you this. I think you can enter this contest.” said Ben, handing him a piece of paper.
“Talented healer search contest?” Elisa asked while continuing to read the contents of the paper.
“Yes, I think you will win with your abilities. If you're interested, you can walk over there." Ben pointed out.
“Just follow that path. You will find many people there.” he continued.
" Okay thank you." Elisa smiled.
Ben nodded and returned to his shop. Meanwhile, Elisa is still thinking about whether to take part in the contest or not. He went back to reading what he would get if he could win it. Immediately, Elisa stepped towards the place indicated by Ben.
If Elisa can win the contest, then Elisa can stay at the Palace. That means revenge will be easier to carry out.
When we arrived at the place Ben mentioned earlier, it turned out that many people had already registered. When it was his turn, three people immediately came in. Two girls and one guy.
"Move, you weak girl." One of the girls makes fun of Elisa.
"Are you going to register too?" taunted the other girl.
" Is it true? Don't you have any shame? This contest is for werewolves only.” The two girls insult Elisa.
"That's right, you can't take part in this contest, because it's only for werewolves to change shifts. Meanwhile, you will never be able to because you are just a weakling." Insult the man who has been looking at Elisa with disgust.
"What do you mean you can't change shifts?" asked Elisa confused.
How do they know? Even though Elisa never told anyone.
“Look at this sign.” Said one of the girls who forced open the clothes on Elisa's shoulders, "only people who can't do shifts have this mark." he continued while pushing Elisa's body.
Luckily, Elisa was caught by a warrior who was on guard there. If not, Elisa would have fallen and become a spectacle there.
“Elisa!” shouted a girl from a distance.
The girl he helped yesterday came over with a man. The man who was so admired and feared in this Pack. A Pack leader.
"You're also taking part in this contest?" Tiana asked after arriving in front of Elisa.
"Yeah, what are you doing here Tiana?" asked Elisa.
“I'm registering too. And I'm glad to meet you here."
"What for? Aren't you a member of the Kingdom?” Elisa asked confused.
The girl in front of him should just tell the Alpha to become a healer in the Pack. No need to bother participating in contests like this.
"Of course to become the best healer." Tiana answered happily.
Elisa shook her head slowly seeing Tiana acting like a child.
“Have you registered?” Tiana asked.
Elisa shook her head and said, “they won't let me register because of this sign.”
Tiana saw the sign and was a little surprised. But he quickly changed his expression.
“Of course you can follow him. Come on, you'll just join my group." Invite Tiana to take Elisa's hand.
Tiana wrote her name and Elisa's name in one group. Elisa just found out that to take part in the contest you must have a group of at least two people. Luckily Tiana came along. If not then Elisa doesn't know who to be with. Moreover, now people know about him not being able to change shifts. It will be very difficult to make friends. People won't even glance at it.
"There's something I want to introduce to you. Come on!" Tiana whispered after finishing writing their names.
"Who are you going to introduce to me?" Elisa asked, changing the conversation.
"Wait, where is it?" Tiana looked for the person in question, her head turning this way and that.
Meanwhile, Elisa could only frown at Tiana's absurd attitude.
“Ah, that's it.” Point to Tiana.
"Who are you Alpha?" Elisa asked impatiently to hold back her curiosity.
Elisa glanced briefly at the man who was walking towards them. The man seemed to be looking at him, not Tiana.
“My twin brother. Darius.”
"Twin?" Elisa asked.
"Why? Don't you believe it?" Darius asked.
Elisa frowned again. This man is too arrogant. It's natural because he is an Alpha.
“I'm sorry Alpha Darius. I didn't know if it was you.” Elisa bowed respectfully.
"Come on, Tiana, let's get out of here. You don't deserve to be friends with a weak creature like him.” Darius forcefully pulled Tiana's hand until the girl groaned in pain. But Tiana shouted to tell Elisa something.
"Tomorrow, meet me at Rainforest."
Elisa heard Tiana's scream but ignored her. Elisa could only clench her fists in silence because of the Alpha's statement. Elisa gave a sharp gaze at the back of the strongest man in the Lotus Pack. Then turn his body in the opposite direction.
“Mate!”
Elisa was surprised to hear the whisper. Who is speaking? Why can Elisa listen to the voices of other people's hearts? Elisa quickly looked back. There, in front of him, there was a man who was looking at him sharply. Not a look of happiness or falling in love but a look of hatred towards his enemy.
