Chapter 1 The Dark Lord

There was this spot on Earth that wouldn't be found on any map, and even satellites couldn't sniff it out.

They called it Paradise Island, the ultimate hideout for the world's top dogs!

No matter what kind of shady stuff you pulled, once you stepped foot on Paradise Island, all laws and rules went poof, and nobody dared to come after you.

Once upon a time, a bunch of countries sent a 300,000-strong army to wipe out Paradise Island, but guess what? The whole army got wiped out instead.

Loads of groups tried to take down Paradise Island, but they all crashed and burned.

But here's the kicker: once you got in, you were stuck there forever!

Why? Because of the unbeatable Top Ten Island Guardians!

But today, that whole "no one leaves" thing got shattered!

And the guy who broke free? William Davis, known to everyone on Paradise Island as "The Dark Lord"!

There was a saying on Paradise Island—there were two things in this world you couldn't look at directly: the sun and the Dark Lord.

The folks on Paradise Island gathered, making some kind of worship gesture, chanting "The Dark Lord."

Everyone stared at the Dark Lord with these wild, reverent eyes!

They gave him the highest send-off they could muster.

At the exit, the Top Ten Island Guardians were already there with a bunch of people, waiting for William.

They were the big shots representing everyone on Paradise Island!

"The Dark Lord, from now on, the world's top assassin organization is at your service!"

"The Dark Lord, from now on, the world's top mercenary group is at your service!"

These people were either the kings of assassins or the kings of mercenaries, all wanting William to take over their gigs.

Finally, an old dude, super excited, grabbed William's hand and said, "The Dark Lord, just take this card, and one-tenth of the world's wealth is yours! The top financial group, Rose Corporation, will serve you alone!"

This old guy used to be the richest man around before he got locked up, and his wealth was off the charts.

William took the card. Stuff like this was useless on Paradise Island, but out in the real world? Goldmine.

The Top Ten Island Guardians looked at William with these mixed-up expressions.

Paradise Island could handle anything, but the guy standing in front of them was a different story! The door of Paradise Island, tough enough to withstand nukes, slowly creaked open.

"Honestly, I could've taken you down when I was fourteen!" William said as he walked away, his voice echoing in the distance, leaving The Top Ten Island Guardians shook to their core!

Leaving Paradise Island, William's mind was racing.

He was originally from the Davis family, the top dogs in Sintros City, Eldoria.

The Davis family was like the head honcho of a hundred families.

The family was packed with talent, spread across the military, business, and political scenes.

His father, Xavier Davis, was a total prodigy and the first heir to the Davis family!

William should've had it made. But, plot twist, he was an illegitimate kid!

The Davis family looked down on his mother, Eden Davis, for her low status, thinking she wasn't fit to marry into the Davis clan.

They were scared the unborn kid would tarnish the Davis family name and were dead set on stopping the birth, planning to wipe out both Eden and William. Pregnant Eden fled Sintros City, dodging hundreds of assassination attempts, barely making it out alive.

Eden later gave birth to William in Starlight City with the help of her best friend, Fiona Watson.

Fiona also became William's godmother.

To keep Fiona safe, Eden took William and fled abroad.

In a desperate moment, they ran into Tristan Price, the boss of Paradise Island.

At Eden's plea, Tristan took William back to Paradise Island.

Eden left William a note: [You must stay on Paradise Island for the rest of your life, never think about leaving, and seeking revenge on the Davis family!]

But how could William possibly chill on Paradise Island forever?

He wanted to get out there, find Eden, and get some sweet revenge!

The rule on Paradise Island was simple—beat the Top Ten Island Guardians, and you're free to go.

But those Guardians were beasts. No one could take them down.

William had been gunning to beat those Guardians for as long as he could remember.

He picked up some killer skills from Tristan.

Truth was, William could've taken those Guardians down when he was just fourteen.

But he hung around for another six years because he needed the Magical Mountain Energy under Paradise Island to keep the Fire Venom in his body in check.

Someone had poisoned him with Fire Venom before he was even born. By the time Tristan found out, it was too late; he could only keep the toxin at bay, not get rid of it.

Now that William was leaving, it was also because the Magical Mountain Energy was running out and couldn't hold back the Fire Venom anymore.

In the next few months, William hunted for Eden while taking over big-time organizations like Rose Corporation, pulling in a crew of powerful folks as his squad.

He also took out a bunch of global big shots to avenge his old pals on Paradise Island.

But there were almost no leads on Eden, except everything pointed to Eldoria!

So, William hit up Fiona and got ready to head back to Eldoria.

Before heading back, Rose Corporation made a big splash in Starlight City in Eldoria, causing a major buzz.

William returned to the country with just Bradley Robinson, the head honcho of the dark forces and the boss of Rose Corporation, who was now William's right-hand man.

William had four reasons for going back to Eldoria: first, to find Eden; second, to repay Fiona; third, to find a way to deal with the Fire Venom; fourth, to get revenge.

On the private jet, just as they were about to hit Starlight City, Bradley got some big news.

He called out, "Master! The Four Guardians of Eldoria have teamed up with all the big shots from the Four Wizarding Temples to stop you from entering Eldoria!"

William just said, "Anyone who gets in my way dies!"

At Starlight City International Airport, Fiona, her husband Eugene Watson, and her daughter Jasmine Watson were waiting.

Jasmine blurted out, "What? Mom, you're letting some random dude stay in our house?"

She couldn't wrap her head around having a strange guy suddenly living with them.

Fiona, on the other hand, was pumped. "He's not some random dude! He's my godson, and he's got a marriage contract with you."

Jasmine shouted, "Mom, no way am I agreeing to this!"

Jasmine was one of the Four Beauties of Starlight City, with a ton of guys chasing after her. Eugene was also a billionaire in Starlight City, worth tens of billions.

So Jasmine was super picky.

She wasn't even into the most impressive young guys in Starlight City.

Jasmine's dream guy was Randal Jenkins, the top dog in Eldoria's Crystal Wizarding Temple. Randal held the top spot on the worldwide top 100 wizard ranking.

When Fiona mentioned William, Jasmine couldn't help but compare him to Randal. It was like night and day.

William was gonna live in her house, and they were supposed to get hitched. Jasmine couldn't handle it!

Eugene chimed in, "Marrying Jasmine won't be that easy. He needs to have some serious skills or a killer background! At the very least, he has to be stronger than me!"

Fiona was about to say something when the airport suddenly went nuts.

A ton of men in black showed up.

The airport got locked down.

No one was getting in or out.

War chariots started rolling in, surrounding the place.

Jasmine, who knew Randal well, shouted, "These are the war chariots of the Crystal Temple!"

She kept shouting, "These are the war chariots of the Starry Wizarding Temple!"
