Chapter 13 Unprovoked and Unstoppable: His Quest for Revenge!

Fiona was bawling her eyes out. "Hurry up and find a way to save William! Messing with Kyle is a death sentence!"

Eugene sighed, "Maybe I can beg Kyle for mercy. Screw it, I'll give it a shot."

He quickly rounded up some big shots to go with him to find Kyle and get William out.

At the entrance of Loyalty Manor, the intimidating Kyle was pacing, looking outside anxiously, with a few private doctors beside him carrying a stretcher.

Behind Kyle was a mob, each one armed to the teeth.

Soon, two cars pulled up.

Seeing the bloodied and fingerless Francis, Kyle roared, "Who did this to my son! No matter who it is, I'll make them wish they were never born!"

The mob behind Kyle shouted in unison, "Kill him!"

Then, the private doctors whisked Francis away for treatment.

William stepped up to Kyle.

A thousand pairs of eyes locked onto William. This was a completely unfamiliar face.

William was also sizing them up, his gaze falling on a middle-aged man beside Kyle.

That man turned out to be a Master of Witchcraft.

A Master of Witchcraft could rival a fully armed army with heavy weapons.

Kyle's voice boomed like thunder. "Who are you? Why did you hurt Francis?"

William said, "Kyle, right? I'm William. You once hunted my mom Eden and even cut off one of my Godmother Fiona's fingers."

Hearing this, Kyle and the Master of Witchcraft beside him, Thomas Murphy, both looked shocked.

Kyle exclaimed, "The Davis family's bastard! It's you? You're still alive?"

William sneered, "If I weren't alive, how could I take your life?"

Kyle's goons immediately shouted angrily, "You're asking for it!"

William said, "You cut off one of my Godmother's fingers. Today, I cut off all ten of your son Francis's fingers. Consider it even. But our feud has just begun, Kyle. My revenge journey just starts with you."

Kyle's sinister face twitched violently. "You're just a bastard. The Davis family has nothing to do with you. How dare you be so cocky?"

No one in Starlight City had ever dared to provoke Kyle like this.

Kyle was livid. "You dare to beat Francis like this! I'll kill you!"

William said, "I'll give you just two days. Gather all your power and connections. Remember, bring out all the stops you've got. Two days from now, at this time, I'll come to kill you."

For William, killing Kyle now would be too easy.

But he wanted to use Kyle to let all of Eldoria know that he was not to be messed with, and even more so, not to be stopped in his quest for revenge.

Therefore, the bigger the commotion, the better.

But hearing this, Kyle and his men all laughed. A bastard dared to challenge the biggest king of the dark forces.

Kyle's goons were spread all over Starlight City, numbering in the thousands.

Among them were hundreds of wizards. And there was even a Master of Witchcraft.

Thomas was the top guardian of Starlight City, and William dared to challenge him?

Kyle's goons couldn't stand it anymore. "Mr. Cox, let's just chop him up right now."

Kyle seemed to think of something, a cold smile appearing on his lips. "No. William, you are the first person to challenge me like this. I accept your challenge. In two days, I will personally kill you."

In everyone's eyes, dealing with William was just a matter of a single blow.

But Kyle wanted to use William to intimidate the entire Starlight City.

Over the years, he and Francis had been doing business.

It felt like everyone had forgotten that he was once a ruthless executioner who killed without blinking an eye.

Even though he was doing business these years, he was still that ruthless executioner.

He wanted to use William to tell the entire Starlight City that he hadn't aged, he was stronger than ever.

Kyle aimed to demonstrate the dire consequences for those who dared to provoke him, seeking to instill fear in all of Starlight City.

With a sneer, he warned William, "Don't even consider making a run for it. I'll have eyes on you."

After William left, hundreds of people rushed out, all keeping an eye on William to prevent him from escaping.

As soon as William left, Kyle's phone rang.

"Eugene? Yeah..."

"Quincy, you're calling to plead for him, right?"

"Mr. Torres, is this about the same thing? I've already let William go."

Kyle only mentioned that he had let William go but didn't tell them about his plan to kill William in two days.

After hanging up call after call, Kyle's face turned cold.

Kyle said coldly, "It seems everyone has really forgotten who I am. If this were ten years ago, who in Starlight City would dare to plead for someone who offended me?"

"Pass my order: all members of The Obsidian Brotherhood must gather at Loyalty Manor within two days. Anyone who disobeys will be killed without mercy."

"I want Starlight City to know that I am still the strongest king."

At the Watson Mansion, Fiona and the others inquired anxiously, "How did it go?"

Eugene hung up and sighed in relief. "Luckily, I have some status in Starlight City. Kyle let him go."

Fiona finally felt at ease. "That's great news!"

Eugene looked proud. "William owes me his life! To save him, I had to convince so many people to talk to Kyle. He should be grateful to me!"

Jasmine took the opportunity to suggest, "Mom, we should kick William out. Otherwise, something bad will happen sooner or later. He's like a madman. I just provoked him a little, and he beat Francis like that..."

Eugene agreed, "I also think we should kick him out. William caused trouble as soon as he arrived. This time it's Kyle, who will it be next time?"

Fiona directly refused, "No way! William is my godson. How can I kick him out? If he's lacking in any way, I'll teach him."

She knew very well why William did what he did; he was avenging her. But she couldn't tell anyone.

Just then, William returned. "Fiona, I'm sorry for making you worry."

Jasmine and Cassidy glared angrily at William. William was too immature. He was the worst guy they had ever seen.

Eugene stared at him. "William, you should thank me."

William looked puzzled. "Why?"

Eugene said, "If it weren't for me, you wouldn't be alive right now. You beat Kyle's son, do you think you could have survived?"

Eugene looked proud. "I contacted eight big shots in Starlight City to plead with Kyle, and that's why he let you go. You should be grateful to me."

William smiled. "First of all, Mr. Watson, thank you for your efforts, but my return has nothing to do with you."

As soon as he said this, Eugene and the others' faces changed.

William was so ungrateful!

Clearly, Eugene had saved his life! And he dared deny it!

Jasmine was furious. "William, you're shameless! Do you even know who Kyle is? He kills people without blinking his eyes. You beat Francis like that, do you think Kyle would let you go? If it weren't for my dad, you'd be dead by now!"

William just laughed. "You don't even know the situation. Stop talking nonsense. If Kyle dares to stop me, I'll kill all his people."

Jasmine seethed with fury, rendered speechless by the situation. William's lack of gratitude and his boastful demeanor in such a critical moment left her feeling not just disappointed, but utterly disillusioned with him.
