Chapter 14 Kicked Out of The Watson Family

Eugene snapped, "You even know what Kyle's packing? How the hell can you talk like that?"

"Kyle's got an army, like tens of thousands of dudes. And he's got wizards, real deal wizards. You ever heard of those?"

"He's got a Master of Witchcraft on his side!"

Cassidy, looking all confused, asked, "Mr. Watson, what's a Master of Witchcraft?"

But Jasmine jumped in, "A Master of Witchcraft can cast spells, like, killing folks is a piece of cake for them!"

"A Master of Witchcraft is like a boss of bosses, ruling the whole area. You can't touch them without a whole squad or some heavy-duty weapons!" Jasmine added.

Eugene nodded. "Exactly! That Master of Witchcraft with Kyle, Thomas Murphy, once took on three thousand armed mercenaries overseas by himself. He killed over two thousand and still got away."

Cassidy's jaw dropped. "What? Three thousand mercs couldn't stop Thomas?"

Eugene sighed, "Yeah, Kyle's got his grip on Starlight City mostly 'cause of Thomas. That guy's worth a thousand troops. With Thomas around, no one dares mess with Kyle in Starlight City."

Fiona went pale. She knew just how badass Kyle was.

Thomas almost took out William and Eden back in the day. And Kyle was the weakest of William's enemies.

How the hell was William gonna get his revenge?

Eugene said, "The most important thing for a man is to know his limits, to know what he can and can't do! Don't confuse ignorance with confidence!"

That night, Starlight City and the nearby towns were in total chaos.

Every member of The Obsidian Brotherhood got Kyle's order, and tens of thousands of them were heading to Loyalty Manor.

This was the first big move by The Obsidian Brotherhood in twenty years.

No one dared to slack off.

In the middle of the night, Eugene's phone rang.

Eugene answered, "Quincy, what's up? Why are you calling so late?"

A frantic voice came through. "Eugene, something's up! Kyle just ordered all members of The Obsidian Brotherhood to gather. The dark forces in Starlight City are going nuts, I think something big's about to go down."

Eugene's face went pale. "Didn't Kyle agree to let William go? Why's he making such a big move now?"

Quincy guessed, "Could this have something to do with your godson?"

With that, Eugene jumped up. He banged on William's door.

Everyone else woke up too.

William looked at everyone barging in. "What's going on?"

Eugene asked, all anxious, "Did you stir up trouble?"

"Kyle just called all members of The Obsidian Brotherhood, thousands, tens of thousands of them are gathering!" Eugene stared hard at William.

Fiona almost passed out. She knew Kyle wouldn't let this slide.

William said calmly, "I told Kyle to gather all his forces and be ready 'cause I'm gonna kill him in two days. So my return's got nothing to do with you. It's 'cause we got a showdown in two days."

Eugene and the others were stunned. "What?"

They'd never seen anyone challenge Kyle before.

Hearing this, Fiona fainted.

William quickly stepped forward, placing his hand on Fiona's shoulder, channeling energy into her body.

Soon, Fiona woke up.

She cried, "William, how can you challenge Kyle?"

How could he survive after pissing off Kyle?

Eugene was furious; he never thought William would be so gutsy.

He quickly pulled open the curtains and looked outside.

Sure enough, the place was already swarming with Kyle's goons.

William wasn't bluffing.

Eugene quickly pieced it together—Kyle let William come back just to make an example out of him and scare the crap out of everyone in Starlight City.

William was toast. And the Watson family was gonna get dragged down with him.

Eugene felt as if his head was on the verge of exploding, as William had single-handedly stirred up a colossal mess.

Jasmine was fuming. "William, do you even realize what you've done? You've not only screwed yourself but also my dad and our whole Watson family! Is this your way of showing off to me? So childish!"

Other Watson family members, who had rushed over after hearing the news, started tearing into William as soon as they arrived.

Fiona was bawling her eyes out. She knew William had provoked Kyle to avenge her, but she couldn't say that.

William was really getting the short end of the stick here.

But William just sneered, "You're all scared of a guy like Kyle?"

Craig was so mad his hair practically stood on end. "You think you're better than everyone, huh? How dare you say that?"

William smirked, "I don't even give him a second thought. Kyle might be a big deal to you, someone you can only dream of. But to me, he's as worthless as trash on the street!"

Jasmine was at a loss for words. William was still trying to show off at a time like this. He was the most arrogant guy she'd ever seen. Did he really think he could take on Kyle?

The Watson family was about to lose it. William was just too full of himself.

Craig suggested, "For the safety of the Watson family, we gotta kick William out!"

"Yeah! Kick him out!"

"Kick him out!"

The Watson family members shouted in unison.

Jasmine and Eugene silently agreed. If they didn't kick William out, the Watson family was in deep trouble.

Seeing this, Fiona cried even harder. She couldn't protect William on her own.

William said, "You all don't believe me, do you? No matter what I say, it's useless. Just wait until two days later, come with me and you'll see."

Not only did the Watson family not believe him, but Fiona didn't either.

That was Kyle, after all!

Craig even shoved William. "Get out of here right now!"

"Get out!"

Despite Fiona's desperate attempts to protect William, it was useless.

Given the situation, the Watson family had to look out for themselves.

William reminded them again because of Fiona. "Actually, I'm giving you an opportunity. If you stand with me now and take a gamble, you'll gain immense wealth, and the Watson family will be at the top of the world in the future."

But saying this just made the Watson family think he was nuts.

"Get out! Get out right now!"

"If you don't leave, we'll call security to throw you out!"

Everyone shouted angrily.

William said, "Fine, I'll leave! I hope you don't regret it!"

His cold gaze swept over each member of the Watson family. They couldn't share his hardships, so they didn't deserve to share his glory.

"Who do you think you are? We won't regret it."

"Eugene! Quickly tell Kyle that the Watson family has cut ties with William and kicked him out."

"Whatever Kyle wants to do with William has nothing to do with the Watson family anymore!"

The cold words of the Watson family members still reached William's ears.

"Fiona, remember to apply the medicine every day." After reminding her, William turned and left the Watson Mansion.
