Chapter 22 Top Bodyguard

Greenwood Estate was where the Smith family kicked it.

Even the bodyguards here were cherry-picked from the top ten international security firms.

The Smiths dropped over a hundred mil every year just on their security setup.

Last year, Aaron snagged a top bodyguard, Luke White, with a fat paycheck.

Luke used to be the head honcho bodyguard for the Presidential Palace of Atheria, Chwadae.

He was in charge of keeping the bigwigs in Chwadae safe, and his skills were off the charts.

He was a beast in Taekwondo, Judo, Karate, and a bunch of other stuff.

Plus, Luke was a stone-cold killer and a Master of Witchcraft, even tougher than Thomas.

At the height of his game, Aaron hired Luke for a cool 12 million bucks.

In just a year, Luke shut down thirty-seven assassination attempts on Aaron. No matter how slick the hitmen were, Luke took 'em all out.

After that, nobody dared to mess with Aaron or Greenwood Estate.

It could be said that Greenwood Estate was locked down tighter than Fort Knox.

Luke even bragged, "As long as I'm here, the Smith family’s safe for a hundred years."

Today, the bodyguards at Greenwood Estate got a surprise visitor.

Just as they were about to step up and grill him, William's voice cut through the air. "Tell Aaron to get his ass out here and see me now."

The bodyguards were floored. They exchanged looks, totally gobsmacked. It was the first time they'd seen someone so cocky and bold.

This guy had the nerve to demand the real estate mogul Aaron come out to see him at the gate of Greenwood Estate. Who in Starlight City had the stones to pull that?

Even hitmen wouldn't take jobs against the Smith family anymore because they were scared stiff of the Smiths' security and Luke. And yet, here was this guy, shouting at the gate? Unheard of. Especially considering he was just some young dude.

"Do you even know where you are?" one of the bodyguards asked, unsure.

"Cut the crap, just tell Aaron to get out here!" William barked, his voice booming.

"You here to stir up trouble? We got a situation at the east gate. Need backup!" The bodyguards sent out the call, and soon, over a hundred bodyguards showed up.

Right then, a fiery red sports car screeched to a stop at the gate.

First, a pair of long legs stepped out, followed by a tall, graceful girl. She took off her sunglasses and asked, annoyed, "What's going on?"

The bodyguards all pointed at William. "Ms. Smith, this guy's causing trouble. He not only called Mr. Smith by name but also demanded Mr. Smith come out to see him."

Anna Smith's eyes locked onto William, sizing him up.

He looked like a nobody, with nothing special about him.

As for his looks and build, Anna didn't even bother.

In high society, a guy's looks were the least important thing.

"Who the hell are you? How dare you demand my grandpa come out to see you?" Anna snapped.

"Aaron owes me something, I'm just here to collect." William's face was ice-cold.

Everyone burst out laughing. What a joke!

How could Aaron, who controlled more than half the properties in Starlight City, owe this guy anything?

Judging by William's getup and attitude, he had no business with a big shot like Aaron. No way.

"Get lost now, or don't blame me for what happens next," Anna said coldly.

"Just tell Aaron to get out here." William was done waiting.

"How dare you disrespect my grandpa like that. I don't want to see him standing." Anna was fuming. She gave the order, then got back in her car and took off.

As soon as Anna gave the word, the bodyguards rushed at William.
