Chapter 23 You Don't Deserve to Talk to Me
William yelled, "Y'all got a death wish or somethin'?"
Facing these goons, William went all out, like a freakin' thunderstorm.
He booted one bodyguard, sending him flying like a ragdoll.
Then he kicked another, same deal, airborne.
In a flash, over a hundred bodyguards were airborne, courtesy of William. They were all just hangin' there mid-air.
From the car's rearview mirror, Anna freaked out, seeing all those bodyguards vanish into thin air. Only William was left standing in the field.
'Where the heck do they all go?' she thought.
Next thing she knew, her car got slammed by a flying bodyguard, making a loud crash and denting it.
Before she could even blink, another bodyguard fell from the sky and smashed into the car.
The car alarm went nuts.
Meanwhile, people were dropping from the sky all around, hitting the ground hard.
Anna was totally stunned.
When she got out of the car, she saw over a hundred bodyguards writhing on the ground, groaning in pain.
Eyes wide with disbelief, she looked at William. She never thought he had this kind of power, and now she was freaking out.
Anna glared at William and warned, "Listen up, I don't care who you are. Don't mess with the Smith family. We got the top bodyguard from the Presidential Palace of Atheria, Chwadae. Got it?"
William was done with the chit-chat. "Tell Aaron to get his butt out here."
He didn't care if he had to level Greenwood Estate to the ground.
The ruckus at the gate had already caught the attention of everyone inside Greenwood Estate.
More bodyguards and staff rushed out. Even Aaron got wind of it.
He heard some young dude outside was calling him out, saying he owed him something.
Aaron couldn't believe it.
He was a big shot; how could he owe anyone anything? No way!
Aaron said, "This is the first time I'm hearing this nonsense. I wanna see who this punk is."
Aaron, leaning on a cane, walked out with a big entourage.
"Grandpa, this guy's looking for you, and he's crazy strong. He took down all these bodyguards." Seeing Aaron, Anna quickly explained what went down.
A guy next to Aaron glanced at the bodyguards writhing on the ground and cursed, "Idiot! All of you are losers!"
This dude, known as the human weapon, was Luke.After getting the lowdown, Aaron was only slightly surprised.
He stayed cool. "It's fine. We got Luke here. No one can mess with Greenwood Estate."
The other Smith family members were fuming. "No one messes with us and gets away with it. You're dead meat."
"Apologize and maybe we'll let you live."
Aaron didn't bother asking William why he was there; he just waved to Luke, signaling him to take William down.
Luke swaggered towards William and said, "Do you know who I am? The top bodyguard of Chwadae..."
But before Luke could finish, William cut him off, "You ain't worth my time. Get lost!"
Like a freight train hitting him, Luke felt the impact of William's slap across his face.
His whole body flew out. A mouthful of teeth and blood sprayed out of Luke's mouth.
Luke shot out like a cannonball, smashing through the gate of Greenwood Estate, leaving a human-shaped hole.
Then, he kept flying several hundred feet before crashing hard, creating a big pit. He curled up, twitched a few times, and then went still.
The whole place went dead silent.
