Chapter 41 This Ancient Prescription is Mine

William shoved Jessica aside. "Get outta here!"

"I'm telling you, I owe your folks, not you. You can't just crash here and blow their cash. You gotta stand on your own. I'll have someone keeping an eye on you 24/7." With that, William stormed off.

Jessica was left on the ground, bawling her eyes out.

Aaron and Victor were hanging around outside, waiting for William.

Aaron asked nervously, "Mr. Davis, got any more Strengthening Body Pills? We'll pay whatever."

William snorted, "Those pills? As long as I got the stuff, I can whip up a ton."

Aaron and Victor lit up. "Seriously?"

They thought William had just lucked into them. They had no clue he was the one making them.

William said, "You help me get the ingredients, and I'll make the pills for you."

He scribbled down the ingredients on a piece of paper and handed it over.

The two were so pumped they almost cried.

While driving William back, Aaron and Victor both got invites from Timothy of Hayes Pharmaceutical.

Aaron asked, confused, "What's Timothy up to? A new product launch tomorrow, and he's inviting us?"

Victor grinned, "It's the Regenesis Ointment launch. Aaron, my busted finger got fixed by his new stuff."

Aaron was floored. "No way, that's nuts. I didn't even notice."

Victor said, "This launch is gonna shake up the pharma scene in Starlight City, maybe even all of Eldoria. Eugene's spot as the top dog might be in trouble."

William, who'd been quiet, finally spoke up, "That ancient formula is mine. Timothy snagged it."

The two were stunned. "What?"

Back at the Watson place, William wanted to warn Eugene, but just as he was about to, Jasmine sneered, "You gonna bring up that useless scrap again?"

William bit his tongue. "Forget it."

If it wasn't about Fiona, William couldn't care less.

The next day, Timothy's Hayes Pharmaceutical hosted a huge product launch. They blew a ton of cash to get all the media and big shots in Starlight City, even some national media.

Timothy also sent invites to the leaders of various factions in Starlight City. Even Eugene got one, though he was the last to get it.

Looking at the invite on the table, Eugene frowned hard. "What's this? Timothy's got a new drug? How come I didn't hear a peep?"

Timothy was his biggest rival, and they kept tabs on each other. Any move Timothy made was usually on his radar.

But Timothy unexpectedly unveiled a new product, catching Eugene completely off guard. He was completely unaware and found the situation incredibly bizarre.

None of Eugene's top brass had a clue about Timothy's sudden product launch. What on earth was he thinking?

Eugene ordered, "Find out what Timothy's launching and why he's making such a big fuss."

He smelled trouble and was visibly on edge.

Just then, Eugene's assistant Darryl Perry came in. "Mr. Watson, word is Timothy's got his hands on an ancient formula."

Eugene's face went pale. "What? An ancient formula?"

He knew how crucial ancient formulas were; he got to where he was thanks to two of them. If Timothy had snagged an ancient formula, it would be a massive blow to him.
