Chapter 49 Alright, I Won't Bother with This Matter Anymore

William checked out their products and noticed a bunch of the meds had missing ingredients. But he could totally fix them up.

Problem was, no one bought it. They just thought William was all talk and stirring the pot.

How could William possibly improve ancient prescriptions?

Eugene had snagged these two ancient prescriptions thirty years ago and had hit up loads of famous docs and experts, and none of them could make them better.

Who did this nobody think he was?

Eugene sneered, "Get lost. I don't need you telling me how to do my job."

William shrugged. "Alright, then. Not my problem anymore."

He had given Eugene a shot because of Fiona, but Eugene blew it.

Timothy kept up his attacks. This time, he went after other members of the Watson family.

Mansion Pharmaceutical Company and the Watson family were separate deals. Mansion Pharmaceutical Company was all Eugene's, and he only tossed Craig and a few others some shares.

Soon, all the big Watson family businesses got hit with sanctions. Suppliers, distributors, and the money flow were all messed up.

"Grandpa, some guys just trashed my car."

"Dad, what do I do? All my assets are frozen."

"Dad, the bank just called. They want their money back. Eugene was my loan guarantor, and now he's blacklisted."

Every Watson family business was feeling the heat.

Without Mansion Pharmaceutical Company backing them up, Timothy had an easy time messing with them.

Craig's face was stone cold; his three companies got sanctioned, and in a few days, he might go bankrupt.

Craig's oldest son, Derek Watson, and second son, Gordon Watson, were freaking out. "What do we do?"

Craig sighed, "If Eugene can't fix this, what can we do?"

Gordon suggested, "If it comes to that, we might have to make peace with Hayes Pharmaceutical. It's the only way to save the Watson family."

Craig quickly hit up Timothy, offering peace and asking for his terms.

Timothy had two demands. First, hand over the ancient prescription for Scar Removal Cream. Second, give up eighty percent of Mansion Pharmaceutical Company's shares.

After hanging up, Craig said, "Get Eugene and Jasmine here, now."

Soon, Eugene and Jasmine showed up.

Craig got straight to the point. "Eugene, be real with me, can you fix this mess?"

Eugene shook his head. "No, I can't."

Craig said, "Then we have to make peace with Hayes Pharmaceutical. Everyone in the Watson family is getting sanctioned, and if this keeps up, we're all screwed."

He then laid out Timothy's terms.

Eugene was shocked. "But Dad, if we do that, Mansion Pharmaceutical Company is basically gone."

Handing over eighty percent of the shares along with the ancient prescription for the Scar Removal Cream was a significant demand. Eugene hesitated.

Megan looked at Eugene. "Are you dumb? You still have Fiona's company."

Craig agreed, "Yeah, our main goal is to save the Watson family. Then you can take over Fiona's company and get the ancient prescription for Sedative Pill."

The Watson family members all chimed in, "Yeah, this is our final chance."

Craig and the others had always wanted Fiona's Fisher Pharmaceutical's prescriptions, thinking she shouldn't have so much power.

They'd been pushing Eugene to merge Fisher Pharmaceutical and take control from Fiona, along with its ancient prescriptions.

Eugene shot back, "No way. Fiona and I agreed a long time ago not to mess with each other's work."

Craig snapped, "We're family. Isn't Fiona part of the Watson family now?"

"Yeah, if you don't take over Fisher Pharmaceutical, the Watson family is done for. Only strength can stop us from getting pushed around. Plus, you and Fiona are a team; does it really matter who runs Fisher Pharmaceutical?"
