Chapter 55 Withdrawn the $7 Billion Investment

Craig threw open the door with a big grin. "Ms. Savoy, come on in!"

Sienna just waved him off. "Nah, I'm just here to drop a bomb."

Craig, looking curious, said, "Shoot, Ms. Savoy."

"Rose Corporation's pulling out the $7 billion investment in Fisher Pharmaceutical. We need that money back, pronto," Sienna declared.

The Watson family was floored. "Say what now?"

Craig, in disbelief, asked, "You're yanking the $7 billion investment?"

Right now, the Watson family's lifeline wasn't Fisher Pharmaceutical or the ancient Sedative Pill formula, but that sweet $7 billion.

Sure, Hayes Pharmaceutical's Regenesis Ointment could be worth a fortune, but it was still just a pipe dream. The Watsons had a cool $7 billion in cash flow.

That was why Hayes Pharmaceutical didn't dare mess with them anymore.

If Eugene went all out, even if Hayes Pharmaceutical won, they'd be licking their wounds. But now Rose Corporation was about to snatch back that $7 billion.

Sienna's assistant handed over the contract papers to the Watsons.

Craig immediately protested, "Ms. Savoy, this ain't right. Rose Corporation already invested, and we've spent some of that cash. How can you just pull out? And isn't yanking the investment a breach of contract?"

Derek and Gordon chimed in, "Yeah, we gotta stick to the contract."

Sienna sneered, "Contracts and rules are for the weak. Even if Rose Corporation breaches the contract, you gonna hold us accountable? You gonna demand damages?"

The Watson family went dead silent.

Exactly, contracts were for the weak. Demand breach of contract damages from Rose Corporation, and the Watsons wouldn't last the night.

Rose Corporation was way scarier than Hayes Pharmaceutical.

Sienna shot a look at Eugene. "Besides, you guys broke the contract first."

Even Eugene was floored. "What? How?"

Sienna tossed the contract over. "Read it. It says Rose Corporation's designated investor is Fiona. None of you can stand in for her."

The Watsons checked and, sure enough, it was true. They thought Fisher Pharmaceutical and Fiona were the same deal.

Turned out, the $7 billion was just for Fiona personally.

Sienna and her crew departed, leaving the Watson family in a state of shock.

Jasmine was in disbelief; she thought this was a win, but it was a total bust.

Craig and Megan almost passed out. The Watson family was in chaos.

With the $7 billion gone, their cash flow was toast.

Craig yelled, "Fiona's the key! Find her, now!"

Derek urged, "Eugene, why are you just standing there? Call Fiona, this whole thing depends on her."

Eugene had no choice but to dial Fiona's number.

At Serenade Villa, Fiona was chilling in the sun when she saw the call. She hesitated but picked up. "Hey, what's up?"

Eugene, sounding desperate, said, "Fiona, where are you? I'll come get you. I owe you an apology, and I need to explain."

"William can come back too. We won't kick him out again," Eugene added.

Fiona paused. "What?"

Just as she was about to waver, William appeared behind her. "Fiona, don't."

Fiona snapped back and said, "You don't need to know where I am, and my situation has nothing to do with you."

Then there was the busy tone, and Eugene was left speechless.
