Chapter 56 What Makes Me Think I Can? This Slap is My Answer

Jasmine blurted out, "I heard William's voice. He's the one who made my mom hang up. Damn it! It's all his fault."

The whole Watson clan was fuming. "That jerk! He's screwing up our family's future!"

They tried calling Fiona again, but her phone was already off.

Craig yelled, "Find her! You gotta find Fiona. We can't lose this $7 billion deal."

The Watson family went all out, searching every corner of Starlight City for Fiona and William.

William remarked, "Fiona, the reason they called you is obvious. Rose Corporation pulled their investment."

With just one sentence, William laid it all out for Fiona, and she finally understood.

He continued,, "Just chill here for a few days, think of it as a vacation. Soon, I'll have a surprise for you. I'll make the Watson family beg you to come back. They'll apologize to you one by one."

William's words left Fiona shocked as his boss vibe became apparent, leading her to realize she had completely underestimated him before.

William's plan was already rolling. But soon, he hit a snag.

Victor reported, "Mr. Davis, we can't get any medicinal herbs. All the suppliers in Starlight City are locked down by Hayes Pharmaceutical. They won't sell to anyone else."

William's face darkened. "I'll handle it myself."

Sunrise Pharmaceutical, the biggest herb supplier in Starlight City, controlled a third of the market. It was also the main supplier for Fisher Pharmaceutical before.

In the chairman's office of Sunrise Pharmaceutical, Elijah Allen, the CEO, had his feet up on the desk, holding a wine glass in one hand and a cigar in the other.

Just then, the office door swung open.

Elijah grumbled, "I said no visitors today..."

But it wasn't his secretary; it was William.

"Who the hell are you?" Elijah asked.

William said directly, "Fiona is my godmother."

Elijah's face twisted. "How dare you. You must be William. The Watson family kicked you out, and you still dare to come here?"

William cut to the chase. "I'm here to tell you I want all your medicinal herbs."

Elijah sneered, "No one else can buy herbs from me, especially not Fiona. Forget it."

William's eyes flashed cold. "What if I insist?"

Elijah mocked, "What makes you think you can?"

William didn't say a word but slammed his palm down on the desk.

The desk shattered instantly, breaking into pieces and turning to dust.

Elijah's eyes nearly popped out as the desk disintegrated right before his eyes.

Even more terrifying was that he saw spiderweb-like cracks appear on the floor beneath him, the surrounding walls, and the ceiling above.

The office was shaking, as if it could collapse at any moment.

Not just his office, but the entire Sunrise Pharmaceutical building was shaking, like an earthquake.

The power of that single slap was terrifying.

But even more terrifying was that the wine glass in Elijah's hand also developed fine cracks and eventually shattered.

This scared Elijah so much that he jumped up immediately. He couldn't imagine what would happen if William slapped him with that hand.

A Master of Witchcraft! No, William must be a Lord of Wizard.

Elijah had many wizards around him, so he knew what he was dealing with. He could tell at a glance that William was stronger than Thomas.

William said coldly, "You ask what makes me think I can? This slap is my answer."
