Chapter 65 Mr. Davis, You're Finally Here

Delia's hands were all clammy. "Mom, I'm kinda freaking out."

This was her first time at such a swanky shindig.

The party was being set up, and Anna was working the room like a pro. She had already proven she could handle it.

Camilla gushed, "Anna's really something. No wonder she's Aaron's granddaughter."

Delia watched, green with envy.

Soon enough, Aaron rolled in.

The place went nuts.

Everyone was dying to chat with Aaron.

But then, more big shots showed up.

Victor, the Crimson Brothers, the herbalist Elijah, and a bunch of other VIPs made an appearance.

This party was way more high-profile than anyone thought.

They all stood up front with Aaron, not sitting down, like they were waiting for someone.

Plus, there were two empty seats right in the middle of the front row, saved for some mystery guests.

Just then, Delia spotted William and the gang coming in. "Mom, why are Mrs. Watson and that annoying dude here?"

They were looking for seats, scanning the room.

Camilla saw them and got a bit jittery. "Fiona? How'd you get in here?"

Fiona wasn't supposed to be here.

Did she sneak in, trying to score an opportunity?

After all, Fiona had lost control of Fisher Pharmaceutical and was probably itching for a comeback.

But this was Aaron's party.

Pissing off Aaron would be a huge mess.

Camilla freaked out.

Suddenly, Aaron yelled towards the door, "What's going on?"

He was livid upon noticing that no one was there to greet William and Fiona.

Nathan, Jacob, and the others also shouted, "What's going on?"

Why wasn't anyone welcoming William?

Were these people blind?

Anna's face turned serious.

She had told someone to keep an eye out and personally greet William when he showed up.

Why did William come in alone with no one guiding him?

Anna quickly made her way to the door.

At the same time, Aaron and the other big shots were all on edge, rushing to the door, with Aaron even breaking into a jog.

This scene freaked everyone out, especially Camilla and Delia.

It was clear they were heading towards William and Fiona.

Not just anyone could crash a party like this.

Aaron and the others must be pissed.

Camilla even thought William and Fiona had snuck in, and now it was game over.

Fiona had already been shunned by the Watson family, and now she was ticking off Aaron and these big names. Fiona would be toast in Starlight City.

Delia grumbled, "It's all William's fault. He had to bring Mrs. Watson."

Seeing these big shots rushing towards her, Fiona was stunned.

She'd never seen anything like this.

Her confused look only made Camilla and Delia more suspicious.

In a flash, Aaron and the other big names were in front of William and Fiona.

Anna even yelled, "What's going on? Where's the staff and security? Didn't I tell you to let me know when they got here? What's happening?"

The nearby hostesses and security guards were shaking in their boots.

Aaron was fuming. "What's going on? Are you all blind?"

Camilla and Delia thought the hostesses and security had let William and Fiona in without checking, which was why Aaron was chewing them out.

Camilla couldn't stay put any longer and rushed up to explain, "Mr. Smith, Fiona's my friend. I brought them here. Please don't blame her, it's on me."

Delia, trying to be nice, added, "Mr. Smith, we brought them in. They didn't sneak in!"

Aaron was taken aback, but then quickly said, "Mr. Davis, Ms. Fisher, you made it. Please, have a seat."
