Chapter 8 The Dark Lord Token

As soon as William dropped that bomb, the room went ice-cold, like someone cranked the AC to Arctic mode.

Even the four badass wizards on the battlefield couldn't help but shiver.

They scrambled to explain, "Mr. Davis, this ain't on us!"

"Seriously, we and our four Wizarding Temples are just here to keep Eldoria safe. Like, when you first rolled into Eldoria and we tried to stop you, that was just us doing our job. We're always overseas. We don't mess with Eldoria's internal drama!"

Bradley chimed in, "Yeah, the four Wizarding Temples are all about war stuff."

The wizards kept going, "But Mr. Davis, we did tell the right people to help you out. Problem is, a lot of folks in Eldoria just don't give a damn."

"Yeah, Mr. Davis, some big shots don't take you seriously. Some of them don't even know what Paradise Island is."

"Exactly, Mr. Davis, Eldoria's got hidden talents everywhere. Compared to real power, we're just small fries."

William sneered, "Alright then."

He said, "Eldoria wants to mess with me? Fine, I'll show Eldoria what revenge looks like! Not even the gods can stop me!"

William was radiating pure, unfiltered rage.

With just one sentence, Randal and the other three felt like they were in hell, their souls and bodies getting ripped apart.

They knew Eldoria was screwed, but they couldn't do a thing about it.

After they left, Bradley jumped in, "Mr. Davis, I found out. Your godmother's pinky wasn't lost in a car accident. Kyle Cox, the dark king of Starlight City, cut it off."

"The reason's simple. Your godmother helped you and your mom back then, so Kyle punished her by chopping off a finger."

Last night, when William saw Fiona's pinky, he knew something was off and told Bradley to dig into it.

William's face turned dark, eyes filled with a bloodthirsty look.

Bradley felt a chill run from his feet to his head.

He continued, "And that's not all. You and your mom had to flee Starlight City because of Kyle! In that fight, your mom got stabbed three times and almost died at the port..."

As Bradley spoke, his throat tightened, and no sound came out.

Bradley couldn't handle William's intense aura and collapsed.

William declared, "Kyle? Alright, just you wait. You're my first target in Eldoria! Let it be known that I'm not someone to mess with. Let's see who has the guts to try and stop me."

Bradley scrambled up and saw William pull out a black token. It had some ancient, weird symbols on it.

When Bradley saw it, he started shaking.

This was the Dark Lord Token of Paradise Island!

One reason Paradise Island was so powerful was its global influence, with many conglomerates and even some countries bowing to it.

No one knew the full extent of Paradise Island's power.

The Dark Lord Token could rally all forces and strong individuals.

William was even more terrifying than Bradley had thought. Since William had the Dark Lord Token, it meant he was the boss of Paradise Island.

William said, "Spread the word. In three days, I want a force that'll make Eldoria shake."

With every word William spoke, Bradley felt like his heart was gonna explode.

A storm was coming to Eldoria! The forces in Starlight City were about to get a major shake-up!

So, Bradley threw the Dark Lord's Command up on the Dark Web, the one Paradise Island set up, along with the Dark Lord Token.

Boom! The whole Dark Web went nuts.

Loads of groups had been following Paradise Island's orders for like, a century, but this was the first time they saw a command with the Dark Lord Token.

Anyone tied to Paradise Island lost their minds when they saw it.

The emperor of Veridia, who was chilling in another country, rushed back home.

The military bigwig of Eosgard, who was about to go under the knife, bailed on surgery to handle the situation.

Silverstream suddenly put the whole nation on high alert.

The assassin and mercenary circles slapped a ban on all activities.

People dropped everything and headed straight for Eldoria.

Thousands of planes and hundreds of ships set sail from all over the globe.

In a flash, Starlight City in Eldoria captured the world's spotlight. That was the kind of power Dark Lord Token wielded.

The chaos was so intense that everyone was speculating about what was going down.

But those in the know, like Randal and his crew, just opened the green channel.

The order was out, and William was just counting down three days to take his first shot at Kyle.

After giving his orders, William headed back to the Watson family and found Fiona.

William was genuinely grateful to Fiona. "Fiona, you've been through hell!"

If it wasn't for Fiona, he and Eden would've been toast.

Fiona had gone through a ton of crap for them.

She looked puzzled. "What are you up to?"

William said, "I know about your pinky. Kyle cut it off as punishment."

Fiona was shocked, not expecting William to have dug up the truth. "William, you know everything?"

William promised, "Don't worry! I'm gonna make Kyle pay! This can't go unpunished!"

Fiona said, "Do you even know who Kyle is? He's the king of the dark forces! A stone-cold killer who's offed thousands."

"Kyle's got men all over Starlight City, tens of thousands of them. Plus, he's got some seriously powerful protection."

"Even Eugene, with all his billions, steers clear of Kyle."

"How are you gonna get revenge? Just drop it! Don't even think about it!"

Fiona, scared William might do something reckless, tried to talk him out of it.

"Alright, I won't mention it." William then switched gears. "Let me see your hand."

Fiona extended her hand. "Okay."

William said, "Take off the prosthetic finger, let me have a look."

Not sure what William was up to, Fiona still took off the prosthetic, showing the severed pinky.

Seeing the stump, Fiona's face went pale, and she started shaking, remembering the pain.

William, though, examined it closely.

The cut was smooth and flat, a wound from twenty years ago. If it had been back then, regrowing the pinky would've been a piece of cake for William.

On Paradise Island, there were tons of world-class doctors, and William had learned all their tricks.

For years, he'd been keeping the Fire Venom in his body in check himself. His medical skills were top-notch.

But now, with Fiona's finger having been gone for twenty years, fixing it was a tall order.

Just then, Eugene and Jasmine walked in together.

Seeing the odd scene, Jasmine couldn't help but ask, "What are you two doing?"

Without looking up, William said, "I'm checking out her severed finger."

Jasmine said irritably, "What's there to see?"

William replied, "I can make her finger grow back."
