Chapter 4

"Master!" Alex called out as he rushed in Diego's direction.

"Why are you here?" Diego asked as he shut Alex, his right-hand man, a deadly glare.

Alex was about to say something when the lady sleeping soundly in his master's chest caught his attention and he stared at her again.

"Master, why?" Alex asked with curiosity as he opened his mouth, slightly shocked as the lady in his master's chest was a splitting image of his former master before she died.

" Why does she look exactly like Miss Annie? Could she be missing Annie?" Alex asked with an eager expression.

"No, she's….." Diego couldn't finish his words when he realized someone was spying on them, he looked strangely in the particular direction wondering who could be spying on him over there and the person's reasons.

" You've just three seconds to come out of your hidden place or you die in a twinkle of an eye!" Diego said coldly as he looked over the direction of the big tree with a desperate expression.

"Who are you speaking with, master?" Alex asked as he turned around looking for something that wasn't lost until he realized his master was looking in the direction of a big branch of a tree.

Almost immediately, a footstep was heard which made Diego smirk devilishly as his ears never lie to him, but what got him most shocking to him was he could perceive the person's blood and realized the person was a worthless Omega.

"Get her, Alex!" Diego said coldly and almost immediately Alex ran off in that direction and brought out the lady who was slightly shivering.

"Let me go, I can surely go by myself!" Basil yelled as she tried to release her arms under the stranger's grip but it was impossible as the person was stronger than her.

Almost immediately, Basil saw the man in an all-black with her miss on his chest which got her to clench her fist underneath while glaring a dagger at him.

"What are you planning to do with my miss?"

"If you love yourself you had better let her go before you regret your actions!" Basil said hoping that would work on the man with the deadly expression.

"Did you just say those words to me? You worthless Omega that your life isn't worth a piece of paper in my eyes!" Diego said coldly.

"Huh, did he just mention worthless Omega? But I never mentioned anything about being an Omega or did I?" Basil thought in her head.

" You never mentioned yourself being a worthless Omega but I could smell the worthless Omega blood of yours!" Diego responded after going through her mind.

"Oh no, did I say that out loud?" Basil thought as she couldn't remember uttering the words out of her mouth."

"Kill her!" Diego said coldly as he made to leave with Nadine in his hands but his legs were firmly held back.

"Please you can't kill me, as you said earlier I'm just a worthless Omega who wants to survive, please take me along with my Miss!" Basil said while weeping bitterly but still Diego wasn't moved.

" I'm the only one Miss has left, I'm her only maid, please, take me along with her!"

" Take her along, Alex!" Diego said coldly as he tried to leave but Alex was fast to speak up.

"Master, you can go with the car instead of going through the wind," Alex said.

Immediately, Diego hopped majestically out of the car, one of his boys rushed towards him with an anxious expression that Diego had to go through his head but he couldn't find anything.

"Welcome back, Master" He greeted with a slight bow.

Diego knew he intentionally made his mind blank so that he wouldn't be able to read them as he was fully aware of his being able to read minds.

" Speak up!" Diego said coldly as he looked towards Alex who instantly understood what his master meant by the look.

"M master," He called while avoiding Diego eye's contact.

" You've just a second to speak Jude, I hate my time to be wasted and I'm pretty sure you're aware of that," Diego said with seriousness in his words that even the Jude guy could instantly sense it.

" M master, I'm sorry, I have failed you," Jude said as he instantly got down on his knees.

" The moment you left, elder Jones gave up the ghost!" Jude said while looking down.

Diego's hands that were fixed inside his trouser pants fell freely and at the same time, he was looking speechless as he found it unbelievable to believe.

" You're kidding right?" Diego asked as he bent down at his level before forcefully pulling up his face just to look at his eyes.

"No, master, I'll never joke with ….." Jude was unable to finish his words when he saw his master running towards the mansion.

" How's elder Jones? Freaking answer my question!" Diego yelled out furiously at the physician in front as if he was the cause of his problem.

"Are you aware of the consequences of keeping mute when you're being questioned?" Diego thundered, looking more anxious than how frustrated he was.

" I'm sorry, Elder Jones is gone." The physician announced with a slight bow.

"Check him again, I'm sure you made a mistake!" Diego yelled loudly banging the table hard which resulted in a big crash.

The physician was terrified instantly when he saw the look on Diego's face that he didn't even know when he fell on his knees.

Diego rushed toward Elder Jones dead, shaking the old man's body vigorously with his power but the body wasn't breathing; rather it was just like a log of wood.

"You old bastard, tell me you didn't do this intentionally, tell me!"

" I was just a few steps away from retrieving Annie, how dare you die without taking permission to do so!"

"Wait, don't tell me this was what the smirk meant, huh?" Diego chuckled bitterly

"Burn the body!" Diego ordered before turning around to leave, leaving almost everyone in there in shock.
