6: Calling the parents

Back in the Land of the Unknown, the guards walked back into the conference room where Lucinda was waiting for Emma’s parents. “My Queen we have them.”

“Well bring them in right away.” Lucinda was ready to find out how she was to get to Greenville and get her revenge and world domination.

“Yes, Your Majesty.” They bowed to them before turning and walking away.

“Thank you.”

Lucinda went and took a seat on her throne crossing her legs and waiting for them.

The door opened and the guard walked in followed by Evan and Alyssa. They bowed to her before looking back at up at her. “My Queen you summoned us.”

“Yes, i have i believe that you have information that shall be useful to me,” Lucinda said she knew they had information that would tell her what was the best thing she should do.

“I’m not sure what you mean my queen,” Alyssa said in a sickeningly sweet voice as she hated Lucinda she certainly wouldn’t be telling her anything.

Lucinda sighed she could see they were trying to sweet talk her and knew she was going to have to be more clear about it. “I mean i believe you know how your daughter managed to shut this realm away and closed the portals.”

“I’m not sure what you mean by that,” Alyssa said she would never share how her daughter had managed to close the barrier between the worlds and band them from it.

Lucinda groaned standing it up she could tell they were lying to her and she did not like it. She knew if Emma entrusted anyone with the secret of how she got it closed it was going to be them. “You know exactly what i mean i know that you know how your daughter had figured out how to close the barrier. ”

“We-”

“If you lie to me the punishment is death tell me how Emma closed the barrier and locked us here in the Land of the Unknown. No you don’t have a choice so i would get to talking if i were you.”

“Never.” Alyssa declared she didn’t care what she was threatened with she was never giving up her daughter.

“Is this really worth your life?” Lucinda asked she didn’t think they would give up their life for their daughter whose death certificate had been signed for over a decade already.

Evan smirked slightly he knew it wouldn’t matter since sadly his daughter was dying and the defenses would be down. But she still wouldn’t be able to takeover Greenville without a fight. “She’ll find out soon enough since the barrier will be crumbling soon enough.”

“The barrier is going to come down?” Lucinda smiled now that was music to her ears knowing soon enough she would be able to takeover Greenville without having to do anything.

Alyssa sighed she didn’t want to think about it since she knew the minute it crumbled her daughter would be dead. “Yes it’s linked to Emma’s life.”

“She always was a smart little bitch.” Lucinda scoffed she knew her former best friend always thought through every little detail. But it wouldn’t matter it simply meant when she did get through the barrier Emma wouldn’t be there to stop her. “So until she does there is no way for us to get in or out of the barrier is what i am hearing.”

“Yes.” Evan confirmed.

Lucinda smiled she loved the sound of her revenge coming together nicely no witches to fight simply humans that would soon be bowing to her very will. “And you said it shall be crumbling soon is my dear best friend dying before i get the chance at my revenge.”

“Yes the spell is draining her soon it will open because she will die.” Alyssa sighed she knew her daughter had done the right thing she just wished she would have a chance to see her again.

Lucinda gave an evil chuckled clapping happily she now had nothing that would stand in her way this time. “Yay she won’t be an obstacle.”

“Her goddaughter and son will.” Alyssa warned.

“Excuse me.” Lucinda shot her a glare she had been sure Layla had died when the barrier had closed. She had heard about the princess of fire and ice and wanted to make sure she was taken care of. “Goddaughter that little wanch is alive.”

“Yes Layla is in Greenville and Emma had a son with the king they will stop you.” Evan assured he knew her days were only numbered and that his daughter’s sacrifice would not go down in vain.

“Over my dead body.” Lucinda threatened she would not let some teenagers beat her and take what was rightfully hers from her.

“They’ll guarentee that.” Alyssa promised she knew Emma had been preparing her son for what was to come and finally Lucinda would be beaten.

“GUARDS!” Lucinda shouted!
