I won't go with you!

Annabelle found herself unable to look away from the man in front of her. His features were almost too perfect to be real.

He had a sharp jawline that added to his striking appearance, and his blue eyes seemed to pierce right through her. His lips were a soft pink, making them look incredibly kissable.

His hair was neatly gelled back, giving him a polished, stunning look that would him stand out in a crowd.

As their eyes met, Annabelle felt a flutter in her chest, captivated by his presence. It wasn't just his looks, there was something magnetic about him that drew her in, making it hard to focus on anything else. She couldn't help but wonder who he was and what it would be like to get to know him.

She kept staring at him without uttering a word, still in his arms.

She heard him ask her if she was planning on running away, but she didn't pay attention to his question, his face was just so captivating for her to look away from.

But she also realized that his voice was particularly pleasant and matched with his handsome appearance perfectly.

"Are you trying to run away?" He asked again, his voice thick and hoarse.

That was when Annabelle snapped out of her daze completely.

She replied "I can't s...stand properly" her cool rang out in his ears.

"It would be best if you don't try to escape next time" his said warningly, his tone dangerous.

Annabelle swallowed hard, inwardly she knew that it would be best if she didn't try that again.

"Because if you do.. I'm going to tie you up in my house" he threatened.

That was when it dawned on Annabelle that the handsome man in front of her was her 'buyer'.

Anger Welled up in her as she struggled to jump off from his arms.

In the process, she fell on the floor, but she quickly stood up and put on a very angry face.

She stared at him. "I won't go with you to your place" she hissed, as she balled her hands into a fist by her sides.

"I won't go with you" she repeated, this time louder.

His facial expression showed that he wasn't angry. Instead he laughed as if she had said something Funny.

Annabelle noticed that his laughter made him even more attractive.

However, after he was done laughing. He leaned forward, towards her ears. "Seeing you this way makes me really want to tie you up in my house" he whispered. Annabelle gasped loudly as she finally understood his words.

He smirked before walking away and Annabelle quickly trailed behind him, following him inside her house. Her parents were already seated waiting for them.

Her father and the man went into the study, leaving Annabelle and her Mom in the living room.

Annabelle looked around, his bodyguards were all over their house, with their strict faces making her a bit frightened.

How dare he bring this amount of guards to their house! She fumed.

She quickly ran to her mother's side. "Mum, why all these guards? Are they not too much?" Annabelle asked frustration evident in her voice.

"It's Okay dear" though her Mom tried to sound cool, she could still detect the sadness laced in her tone.

"It's not Mom. Nothing happening here feels Okay" Annabelle said, her voice rising.

"Why are you even looking scared of him? Is he a Mafia?" Annabelle asked raising her brows suspiciously, even though she asked the question like a joke.

"Yes, he is" her mom replied. That wasn't the answer Annabelle was expecting, because she flinched back in shock. She took two steps away from her mother, as her Mom tried to reach out to her.

"Mom, don't you care about me? My freedom? How I'd feel?" Her voice was soft, but the unhappiness was clear. She stood with her arms crossed, eyes downcast, avoiding her mother's gaze. Her lips pressed into a thin line, and a faint quiver in her voice betrayed the depth of her disappointment. The silence that followed her question hung heavy in the air, emphasizing the weight of her words.

"Anna please, try to understand it was the only option left. Think about how the workers would feel if we suddenly fired them all. If not for anything Anna, Please do this for the life of our employees" she pleaded desperately.

"And he was the one who asked for you in return" her Mom added in a whisper.

Immediately Annabelle heard that, her eyes widened as she moved closer to her Mother and held her both hands.

"What! Did he threaten you and Dad?" She asked placing her hands on her Mom's shoulders.

"What are you saying Anna. He didn't. The both parties agreed"

"Are you sure Mom? Most Mafia novels that I've read says that Mafia's are heartless killers. Tell me Mom, what did he do?" She asked shaking her Mom vigorously.

"I've told you Anna. He did nothing. It was an agreement, you need to accept the fact, stop doing this please" her Mom pleaded, her voice barely audible.

Annabelle was stunned as she finally let go of her Mother.

Few minutes later, her Dad and the Man walked out of his Study.

She sprinted towards them and grabbed the man by his shirt, yanking him close. "You intruder! What did you do to my parents?" she demanded, her voice sharp and filled with anger. Her eyes blazed with intensity as she stared him down, her grip unyielding.

He smiled at her action.

"You should pack your things, you're coming with me" he replied instead, deliberately ignoring her previous question.

He held her hands and pulled them away from his shirt.

"I won't go with you!" She fired back loudly, her voice firm and determined.

"Annabelle, please stop this now and just go with him," her dad said, his voice tight with tension.

Annabelle hesitated, then moved closer, standing directly in front of her father. She could see the worry lines etched on his face and the way his hands trembled slightly. Her heart ached at the sight.

"Dad, I don't want to," she whispered, her voice breaking. She looked into his eyes, searching for any sign of reassurance, but all she saw was his fear and concern.

"Please, Annabelle," he urged softly, his eyes pleading. "Just do as he says."

She bit her lip, feeling a lump form in her throat. The weight of the moment pressed down on her, making it hard to breathe.

"Dad Come on, did he threaten you? There is no need to be scared of him yo..." Annabelle wasn't chanced to complete her statement when she felt a cold metal at the back of her head.

Her body stiffened immediately and her throat suddenly felt dry.
