Want to know
I shuddered, disgusted by the threat that contained such disgusting things. Does he like to threaten women with his genitals? If that was the case, I wasn't interested in him at all.
Just a handsome face and the power he wielded didn't necessarily enchant me into blind love. And it's ridiculous that I have to carry this strange man's child. Wait! Carry his child? Isn't he a werewolf? Then that means I'm carrying a werewolf's child.
I slowly touched my belly, I can't imagine what the baby I gave birth to would look like, they are werewolf babies. Even though the father could transform into a human form, the original form of the man was still a giant wolf.
"What are you thinking about? Are you hungry?"
I glared, not wanting our conversation to become warm and pleasant. After all, he had accepted me here because I happened to be carrying his child.
"None of your business," I replied curtly.
"How dare you say that," he said, taking a step forward.
He reversed his steps and took another step back, I think he was about to get angry and attack me, it's just that the foetus I was carrying made him change his mind.
"Why, are you going to tear me apart with your werewolf hooves? Go ahead," I said loudly, challenging him.
"Shut your mouth, Miss. I pity you because you're carrying my babies, I'm still kind enough to treat you humanely here. What's so hard about just answering whether you're hungry or not?" he questioned my answer just now.
I rolled my eyes lazily. "Aren't you a werewolf? You just read my mind, you must be able to read other people's minds, right?"
The man's sharp gaze seemed to be trying to pierce me, he didn't look like he was reading my mind, but that sharp gaze seemed to be analysing my words.
"What do you mean? Don't you know that none of the werewolves here can read your thoughts? That's strange. You're like someone else, you're not like your usual self," the man said.
I let out a short sigh. "I've told you many times, I'm not the woman you know. I'm Aluna Saphire, that's my name."
For a moment, the man in front of me looked at me with a puzzled look, a little cynical at my self-doubting look. A few seconds later, he chuckled slightly and laughed at my words.
"Fool, your name is Aluna Saphire. The son of an old woodcutter in the forest who died three months ago. What was your name before? You look more stupid and strange every day, not funny at all. If I could choose, I would want my babies to be born of Xezedha, not of you".
The man walked away, I clucked and hissed angrily. The man's mouth always spat out words that were unpleasant to hear. He thought I would be sad and cry? Oh, that's wrong, instead I hated him even more and wanted to kick his arrogant face in.
"I still can't believe I'm pregnant," I mumbled, stroking my belly. "You shouldn't bother people like your father."
Come to think of it, I had just realised that if this body of mine was already pregnant with this boy, it meant that this body of mine had also done 'that' to him. Goose bumps ran down my body like silky strokes, I was so ticklish at the thought of that narcissistic and cruel creature sitting on top of me and riding my body. What a fool.
The puzzle I still couldn't solve was how I had suddenly ended up in a forest inhabited by werewolves. Wasn't I just running to avoid being chased by loan sharks? And what was even more confusing was that my body had suddenly been filled with the seed of the man called King Alpha. It's strange, if only the face of the owner of this body was different from mine, then I would assume that Mum was someone else's body and my spirit could have entered that woman's body, but the face of the owner of this body is also exactly like mine. So what exactly is going on?
"Ah, my head is getting dizzy," I complained, holding my dizzy head.
I would not get a reasonable answer if I asked this King Alpha. Instead, he continued to tease and ridicule me.
I didn't even know the name of the man who claimed to have impregnated me, what kind of relationship was that? If God was watching this, He must be laughing at the ridiculousness I was experiencing.
I thought, remembering the werewolf who had helped me in the forest earlier. I hadn't had a chance to thank him yet, and I wanted to ask him some questions to get some information from him.
"Where is that werewolf who helped me earlier? He must want to help me now," I monologued.
"Good evening Your Majesty, how can I help you?"
I jumped in surprise when I heard a man's voice behind me, I didn't feel the slightest sign of anyone's presence, nor did I hear the sound that would indicate the presence of another person, suddenly someone came from nowhere behind me. Even though I had turned my back to the bed and was facing the door.
When I turned my head, the werewolf who had helped me survive the predator in the forest was kneeling behind me. He bowed respectfully and remained kneeling without looking at me.
"Ah! You're here, I'm sorry I screeched because I was surprised," I said as I scratched my itchy neck.
"I should be the one to apologise, Your Majesty. You never did anything wrong," he said.
I was clumsy and confused as to how to respond, but the first thing I realised now was to tell him to stop kneeling.
"Stand up, you don't always have to kneel before me," I told her.
"This is my respect for you, Your Majesty. I have no right to stand before you without your command," the werewolf said obediently.
I just sighed and shook my head, I didn't like playing the royal princess like this. I'm not a fan of power and honour, all I need is peace.
From the looks of it, it's uncomfortable to have an interlocutor who's a creature with a body full of fur and a face like a dog race. I was also curious about the human form of this werewolf in front of me.
"Um... What's your name anyway? I don't know what to call you," I said awkwardly.
"Forgive me, Your Majesty, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Afrow Young. I am Lord King Alpha's trusted accomplice, or Beta," the man who introduced himself said. Even though I often introduce myself, it's okay if you forget me."
He changed shape in front of me, and I could clearly see a man with caramel brown hair, slightly curly but still neat. His gaze was sharp as well, like the one of the Respect Crazed Man, but the difference was that Afrow looked more calm and friendly.
"Oh... It turns out that the werewolf's height is not much different between your wolf body and your human body either," I said, amazed at Afrow's tall and proportional height.
"You say that as if you'd just seen a werewolf, it's common for us to look like that," Afrow said in a joking tone.
"You're a relaxed and pleasant person," I praised Afrow. "Not like... him."
"What? What do you mean? Who is he?" asked Afrow, not understanding.
I said this deliberately to provoke Afrow into mentioning the name of his arrogant master. I had forgotten what the man's name was, but knowing his name would at least give me a clue as to what was going on in this place.
"Yes, he is, your master. Can't you tell me his name?" I asked Afrow sarcastically.
Afrow finally understood what I meant and shook his head with closed eyes. "No, I can only call him His Majesty or Alpha King. I have no right to speak his name without his permission."
"Oh come on, you can't say his name? I.... I want to hear it," I said in a stiff tone.
Afrow wrinkled his forehead. "There's no way you forgot the name of Lord Alpha King, is there? How could you forget the Alpha's name?"
