She wants anything

I walked around the magnificent castle, my gaze fixed on every carving on the castle wall.

"Wow, what a beautiful relief," I said, praising the carvings on the castle walls.

"That's right, this relief was made by the predecessors of the Voghmoon family, from generation to generation the Alpha King family who has always occupied the position of alpha and also the king of the werewolves here," Afrow said while accompanying me around the castle building.

"Oh? That's great," I said, even though I wasn't impressed at all with the Voghmoon family's origins.

How could I be impressed, James' behaviour made me feel so annoyed, so my annoyance extended to all sorts of things related to James. But it got me thinking how come there was no opposition in the Voghmoon family's life as long as they occupied the position of successive leaders?

"Life is quieter here than elsewhere, there's no creepy power struggle," I said, deliberately provoking an opinion from Afrow.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to be presumptuous, Mrs Aluna. But.... Your opinion is incorrect, it's natural that you think so because the competition for the throne as King Alpha here is usually done in secret," Afrow said.

"Right, by covertly I mean that those who don't like Lord King Alpha will carry out their plans secretly, so far Lord King Alpha's predecessors have also faced their rivals in many ways, because the werewolves dare not compete openly given the enormous power of Lord Alpha King's predecessors."

I nodded in understanding, I don't know how and how great their power is. But I'm sure they are very powerful figures, even Afrow who I think has great power still praises them to that extent.

"They're great werewolves," I said to end the conversation.

Afrow and I returned to silence, even though we were silent to each other it wasn't bad either, plus I was a quiet person so it didn't matter if there wasn't much conversation between me and other people.

"Hm? What's going on over there?" I asked as I pointed to the group of people gathered in the centre of the castle.

Afrow stared calmly, "I deduce that they are being gathered by Lord Alpha King because of something."

I became even more curious, there were people gathered all of a sudden, when nothing was happening right now, or was it just me who didn't realise that there was a problem here?

"Can we go over there? I'm curious about what's going on," I said asking for permission.

"I can't give you permission, but from what I can see there isn't any trouble or anything important going on, so it's fine if Madam wants to go over there," Afrow said.

After we arrived at the centre of the main room of the castle, we saw that there were many servants and werewolves gathered there, I looked at them with a curious look, what exactly was going on here?

"James?" I greeted him. "What did you gather them all here for? You want to scold them again? Didn't you promise not to be rude to them anymore?"

I gyrated my waist confidently in front of James, my behaviour making those who were there become dumbfounded and frightened. I honestly thought it was reckless and ignorant, but while I could still use James' weakness then I would do my best. It would be a shame not to use this opportunity.

"Don't talk so much, chatty lady. I'm fulfilling your ridiculous request right now, you should know better because I'm willing to do what you ask," James said with a hiss of annoyance.

I tilted my head in confusion, what did he mean by my request? Then I recalled what I had asked him and understood that he was now apologising to all the people he had treated harshly.

"Oh really?" I asked with a cheerful expression. "Oh my gosh, I'm so happy."

I stroked my belly and got the baby inside me talking. "You see? Your father is willing to do our bidding, aren't you happy?"

I then smiled and stepped cheerfully away from James, before I waved and thanked him. From afar, I could see James' subordinates breathing a sigh of relief that I was there to restrain James' anger. I guessed that they were also worried that James' intention of gathering them there was to punish them.

It turned out that my fear of staying here wasn't as bad as I imagined, but I still had to be vigilant while I was here. Because James won't always be kind to me, and there's no telling whether this womb will last until the babies are born or whether I'll be able to deliver them safely or not.

"Is there something on your mind, Mistress?" asked Afrow.

I turned my head and then shook my head, Afrow is very sensitive to things and he can sense when something is happening to others. It's probably also because he has a caring nature that she easily recognises the responses of others.

"This castle is so big, I'm not sure I'll be able to go all the way around it," I monologued. "Oh, it just occurred to me that this castle is too big for only servants and James' family members to live in. But they seem to be used to living in such a large place."

Afrow chuckled softly and smiled. "It's not like that, Madam. In fact, there are many other family members here, not only from the Voghmoon family but from other families that are still connected or related to Lord King Alpha."

My forehead furrowed when I heard Afrow's words just now, out of the many stairs I climbed and rooms I went to not a single time did I see James' family appear here as well as his distant family. There were only pack members who occasionally greeted me on the lower floors of the castle, not on the upper floors which were the place for upper-class werewolves like James.

"But... I rarely see them, I can't even say I've ever seen them," I said in astonishment.

"Oh, of course. Because they come at certain times, and it's rare for them to have the same agenda even if they are fellow family members here. Because the core family and the branch family in this castle have different domains of affairs," Afrow explained.

I'm still trying to understand each of the terms Afrow mentioned, as well as the mechanics of life here as a werewolf. I thought life as a werewolf only needed to fight and make offspring like what I read in the book, it turns out that the life of a werewolf in another world is no less complicated than human life.

I faintly heard the sound of footsteps approaching us, and Afrow and I, who also stepped forward, got closer to the source. From the wide windows of the castle came the moonlight, the figure that stepped closer was finally visible because of the moonlight. And I could see that it was a very beautiful woman with grey hair, her body was very sexy and also a little athletic for a woman in general.

"Good evening, Mrs Xezedha," Afrow greeted the woman.

"Good evening too Afrow. Oh, you're with that woman who's been talked about," said Afrow.
