CHAPTER EIGHT

I really hated not being properly informed and that was happening a lot today. First, with the whole, “you're now the Prince’s wife,” and now this.

As I walked in, the Butler showing me in, I was shocked to realize I was going to be having dinner with a lot of people.

And not just random people, these were the actual rules of the planet, right there in the room, staring at me as I walked in.

But what shocked me more was the sudden charming demeanor of said Prince. It was like a light bulb flicked and he was being extremely nice, confusing me.

“Tessa, we've been waiting for you! Come, come. Sit with me,” he said, waving me over to his side with a bright smile on his otherwise angry face.

“Hello,” I greeted awkwardly, confused at first but then I decided to play along. I didn't know anyone here except him and bursting whatever game he had on so early wouldn't be smart.

And besides, this might be my way out. I just needed to figure out why.

I sat down on the chair next to him and the servants began heaping food on my plate. Even though it was looking and smelling delicious and otherworldly, the prince’s attitude robbed me of my appetite.

“Family, meet my wife. I met her at the SOS auction today and isn't she the most beautiful of them all? We're gonna have so many beautiful babies, I can already see it,” he announced, hugging me close to him and ignoring my jab at his side, instead pulling me tighter.

I counted the people seated on the table and they were five in number, excluding me and the prince.

The King of our world as it was, humans and aliens alike, sat at the head of the table while I and the prince were on his right hand. But for no reason that I could lay my hand on at that moment, he stared at me like I had bugs on my face, and this terrified me but as he spoke, an opportunity presented itself, I just had to be bold enough to grab it.

“How sure are you that she's fertile, Xavier? There's a reason I insist they produce a child first before you make a commitment to them. Don't get sidetracked now,” he growled irritably and I immediately understood what must be done.

If I was to force his hand to do anything, especially let me go, who best to use but his own father? In fact, nothing else had the best chance to work so I took in a deep breath and faked a smile, and did what might either save me or put me in deep shit.

“That was what I said, Master. There's no need to claim me yet, I'm not running away but he needs to ensure my body can do what it is meant for, he paid a hefty price you know. Do talk to him, I doubt we've formed enough of a connection for me to convince him of anything. I really pray the gods of Zorvath blesses us with all their great blessings, especially love.” I said demurely, and I relished the look of shock on their faces.

“Wait, you don't want him to claim you?” The second alien seated on the table with us, his mother, the queen asked, bewildered.

I know right, so many alien girls wished they were us humans but any copulation with them had too high a chance of producing XYZ’s so they rarely took that risk. Thus, the idea of me not jumping at the opportunity to seize the ultimate price, the future King, was a shocking event for everyone.

“Oh, that's not the case. I'll be delighted to be his bride and future queen, your majesty but you see, if he hosts the grand ceremony declaring me his chosen bride, everyone will be expecting a child in less than a month. What if I disappoint them? That will be a terrible situation which I beg of you not to put me in, Master,” I say, casting a glance at the Prince whose face was breaking in tiny sweats from trying to control his anger but I didn't care at that point, I'll deal with his temper later.

Instead, I focused on the Royal couple again and sealed the deal, “So I think His Majesty’s idea is brilliant. Once we give the great Kingdom of Zorvath a strong healthy son, we can begin talks of a royal wedding. What do you think?” I said, the fakest smile of the century plastered on my face.

“And that is what will be done, Xavier. How the human has more sense than you is astonishing! You must do things the smart way or we risk our plans. I know you have never been to Zorvath so you might not understand why we fight so much for it but we will go back soon and you'll realize everything was worth it,” the King said, and of course, the suddenly complaint Prince nodded his head.

“Father, I totally agree with you and my future wife. But you know how I like to do things in a different way, to set me apart from everyone else. So I would prefer we don't wait until she gives birth but immediately gets pregnant. I'm really tired of the way our tribes men keep trying to force their daughters on me, you know. So in less than a few weeks, we'll call you for the announcement of the pregnancy which will be celebrated with the wedding”

“Well, you are a true son of the kingdom of Zorvath. You cannot lose a baby halfway so that is acceptable. We'll begin preparing for the biggest Royal wedding the two planets have ever witnessed.” The King replied with a smile and the steak in my mouth lost its taste.

This meant that I had to find a way to definitely not get pregnant, and the moment he disappoints his father more than a month or two, he will be forced to send me away.

Brilliant!

My excitement was short lived though. As we rounded up on dinner, his sisters kept interrogating me about my human life and family. I kept my answers short, just in case.

But I was filled with trepidation. I had won now but I doubt I'll be allowed to go scot-free once his parents and family were out of the door.

“This was nice, we should do it more often, Xavier. Since you became the crown Prince, you barely come to the royal palace anymore.” The queen said but I call bull. She's not his mother and this whole facade was for a reason. I quickly realized how much the family was torn internally but they never allowed anyone to find out.

“I'm sorry about that Zeph – mother. I'll come over more now with Tessa here, right, love?” He said, dragging me into whatever drama they were talking about. He was literally about to call her by her name.

“Yes, your highness. I'll be delighted to see your wonderful abode,” I replied, trying as hard as possible to avoid rolling my eyes.

As expected, the moment they were out of the door, his face swiched back to anger mode.

He was livid and I was at the other end of his wrath.

“What was the meaning of that?!” He shouted the moment we went through the doors of the mansion.

Damn, so fast? He didn't even give me a second to prepare but I was definitely going to have to keep playing this game.

“I'm sorry, Master, what is wrong? What did I do?” I asked innocently, batting my eyelids extra hard to sell the act.

“Tessa, you mean to tell me that whatever just happened in that room wasn't intentional, huh? You really want to do that?”

“Sir, I swear to you, I didn't do anything with any ulterior motives. I was not expecting your family on the very first day. Please I've had a really terrible day, I was hoping to retire to bed. Can I?” I asked, quickly changing the subject.

“Sleep? Oh you don't get to do that beautiful," his nood switched from angry to sultry in an instant, the air charging with tension, "Since you want a baby from me so badly, I'm going to give it to you," he promised.

"B..but that would mean..." I stuttered.

"You know what it means pretty girl, but don't worry, you'll love every bit of my cock sliding in and out of you," his mouth was in my ear now, making me cream my lace panties in a mix of hot desire and fear, "making you moan in ecstasy. I love this plan of yours," he smiled as he wrapped an arm around my waist and buried his head at my neck, my ears instantly red. Then after stroking my back with his right hand he started to reach into my blouse...
