Chapter 4

Aurora's POV

"I will take your things to your house," said Dante, who was rejected by me.

"No need, can I borrow your money? I will go alone because I will also bring my car here, tomorrow I have to go to campus because I still have a lot of things to take care of.”

Guess Dante didn't accept the rejection, he quickly grabbed my hand and took me out of the penthouse to the parking lot. Without saying a word, he drove his car towards my family's house.

Dante's car stopped right in front of my family's house. "Aren't you coming by?" I asked because Dante was still in the car and didn't seem to have any intention of getting out of the car.

"No. Hurry up! I don't have much time to wait for you."

I didn't ask any more after hearing Dante's words, I immediately got out of the car and entered his house.

"How are you, Aurora? Did Dante do something out of line to you?" my mother and father asked me. They were afraid that Dante would take out his anger because Molly May left him on me.

"No, ma'am. He didn't do anything wrong. Is there any information about Molly May?" I asked while walking towards my room and his parents followed me.

"No, we've asked the police to look for Molly May too. But it's difficult because Molly May ran away, not disappeared."

"Before Molly May ran away, did she tell you anything strange, ma'am, or did her movements seem suspicious?" I asked while preparing my clothes into a large suitcase. I also don't forget to prepare my thesis materials and those related to my campus.

"No, Aurora. There's nothing suspicious about her."

I took a deep breath, I didn't know why my sister ran away.

"Okay, ma'am, I'll go first. Dante is already waiting in the car," I said, pulling my suitcase out with a bag containing a laptop and other things related to my studies and thesis.

"Already?"

I nodded my head then waved to my father and mother, before finally Dante's car left my yard.

"Dante...."

Dante turned his gaze to me for a moment, then returned to focusing on driving.

"Can we stop at the restaurant for a moment?" I asked timidly.

Dante didn't answer my question, but took his car to a nearby restaurant.

"Are you coming out?" I asked before I got out of the car, but Dante shook his head.

I didn't care about it then got out of the car and entered the restaurant. Immediately I ordered food that would make me full, after that I looked for a seat.

"Aurora!"

Feeling my name being called, I turned my gaze towards the source of the voice, and how surprised I was to see who the person was calling me.

"Robert!"

The man who called me quickly stood up, came over to me and hugged my body. "Where have you been? I called you but your cell phone was never active, I also looked for you at your house but your parents said you weren't at home."

I was confused and didn't know what to answer. Robert is my boyfriend, we have been dating for about three months, and right now I don't know how to tell Robert, until my body is suddenly pulled back roughly by someone, causing me to lose my hug with Robert.

"For now, this woman's status is my wife. Wait until I divorce her before you can approach her again," said Dante, who was the person who separated us.

"What does that mean, Aurora? Isn't this your sister's husband?"

"Robert, listen to me–" Before I could finish my words, Dante had already grabbed my hand, and I was taken out of the restaurant.

"Dante, what are you doing?" I asked, pulling my hand firmly from Dante's hand.

But instead of answering, Dante instead gave me a sharp gaze, making my guts sink instantly.

"Right now you are my wife, I don't like what is mine being touched by others!"

"But our marriage isn't real, our marriage is just a cover for shame. You're going to divorce me, so what's wrong with me being with my boyfriend?"

Dante was still looking at me with a sharp gaze, he also stepped closer to me, making me move further back until his body was cornered by the car behind him.

"For me, marriage is marriage, there is no playing around. As long as I haven't divorced you, you are mine. Don't try to play around behind my back, or you will know the consequences yourself!" Dante said firmly in a very cold voice, his eyes still looking at me sharply.

The next day, I was still thinking about what Dante said to the person on the phone last night.

What does Dante mean about holding back his emotions, and after one week if my sister doesn't meet, will I be tortured by Dante?

I shook my head, Dante couldn't be someone like that. But it could be like that because what Dante loves is my sister, and also what my sister loves is Dante.

I took a deep breath, then made random scribbles on my thesis paper which my supervisor had just asked me to revise.

"What's wrong with you, Aurora?" asked Laura, she is my friend in campus.

"I'm married."

"Huh? Hahaha, finish your thesis first, then get married," replied Laura, who thought I was joking.

"I'm not kidding, Laura. I'm married, and it just happened."

"Are you serious?" Laura asked because she saw my face which was not joking. "Last night Robert still contacted me asking if you were with me. So when are you getting married?"

"I'm not marrying Robert, but my sister's future husband," I answered with a frown.

"Huh? Hahaha, I almost believed you," said Laura, who had returned to his normal attitude.

"I'm serious, Laura. I'm really married."

I told my friend everything, starting from my sister running away, me replacing my sister, until last night I met Robert.
