The Escape Plan

Twenty minutes ago

Stormy lay on her bed tiredly after escorting me to Falcon's suite.

"Gosh! I'm so tired," Stormy yawned. Minutes later, there was a knock on her door, and it opened, revealing a figure who walked in.

"Hey Stormy," the figure greeted her and sat on Stormy's bed.

"I don't remember granting you permission to enter," Stormy snapped.

"I don't need to ask for permission before entering my best friend's suite," the figure said, taking off her shoe to join Stormy on the bed.

"What do you want, Genny?" Stormy asked tiredly.

"It's about the newbie," Genny replied, and Stormy instantly sat up at the mention of 'Newbie'.

"What has that thing caused this time?" asked Stormy, emphasizing the word 'thing'.

"Nothing," Genny replied sharply.

"But I heard she is now the boss's new slave, and they will soon get married," she continued, and Stormy flinched.

"No, I can't let that happen, No!" Stormy half-yelled.

"There's nothing you can do, Stormy," Genny said, adjusting herself on the bed.

"But I love him, I do," Stormy said sadly.

"I know, but the boss doesn't; I mean, he only sees you as a sex machine. You just have to let go," Genny advised her, tapping her on her shoulder.

"No, I won't. I love him, and I must have him to myself alone," Stormy said determinedly.

"So what are you going to do?" Genny questioned.

"Don't worry, I have my way," Stormy replied, and without waiting for a response, she left her suite.

"I hope you won't do something crazy," Genny murmured under her breath and lay on the bed.

"So comfy," she giggled.

Present

"Because I have a perfect escape plan," Stormy replied and smirked at me.

"Are you interested?" She asked.

"I don't know," I replied, unsure what to do.

"Don't worry, there's still time. You should know your answer before today runs out, so I'll be waiting," She said, and with that, she left.

I sat on my bed because my head was filled with a lot of thoughts, and what Stormy just discussed with me added to my thoughts.

"Should I agree?" I thought inwardly.

‘Of course, you should. At least you'll be able to get away from this prison and reunite with your sister and friends,’ my conscience advised.

‘But if you agree to leave and the boss finds out, think about the trouble you'll be in,’ my other conscience rejected, and I must say that, that was true. If the boss truly catches me when I'm trying to escape, I will be in a lot of trouble.

"But more than that, I have to try, and if I fail, I'll try again. At least they say practice makes perfect," I thought to myself.

"I will just have to accept. I hope I'm doing the right thing," I said inwardly and left my room.

...

Stormy just finished telling Genny about her discussion with me, and they both laughed menacingly.

"So, do you think she'll agree?" Genny asked after she stopped laughing.

"Of course, she would. She has no other choice," Stormy replied, determined.

"And what if she doesn't agree? What will be your next move?" questioned Genny with a raised eyebrow.

"Then I guess I'll just have to do it the hard way," Stormy grinned evilly.

"Which is?" Genny asked.

"Elimination," Stormy replied and smirked while Genny opened her mouth in horror.

"You don't mean it, Stormy," Genny murmured enough for Stormy to hear.

"Then watch me," a hoarse voice came out of Stormy, and a knock came on the door.

"Who is there?" Genny questioned.

"It's Ari," I answered, and they both looked at themselves before Stormy talked.

"Enter," she said, and I opened the door.

"So, what is your reply?" Stormy asked, hoping to hear a positive answer from me.

"I agree," I replied, and an evil smile appeared on Stormy's face.

...

Training Room

Different weapons could be heard as each clan member trained with swords, arrows, and more. A moment later, a man in his early twenties walked in.

"Attention!!" came out his cold voice, and all members of the clan faced him.

"We are going on a mission tonight, for a visit to a rich fool who is yet to pay us our money. The remaining details will be told to you. Once your name is listed, meet me in the hall," He said.

"Yes, Captain!" They all chorused, and with that, he left. A red-haired guy entered and started listing out the names. When he was done, the names that were called followed him out.

On the other side of the training hall, Lina and her friends were packing their equipment because they were among the people listed. When they were through, they started leaving, but a girl stopped them.

"Hey, Lina!" She called.

"Sup, Xavier? What is it?" Lina asked.

"It's about the newbie you were talking to in the dinning,"Xavier said.

"Yes, what happened to her?" Blaze questioned.

"I saw her entering Stormy's suite some minutes ago," Xavier told them, and the friends looked at themselves before facing Xavier.

"Really? Why?" Lina questioned.

"I don't know, but I'm sure it's nothing good. So you guys should advise her not to get close to Stormy. If not, she might end up dead, just like Lexi," Xavier replied.

"Okay, thanks for telling us," Hellcat appreciated.

"It's nothing. I'll take my leave now," Xavier said and left.

"What do you think Stormy is up to?" Blaze asked, facing his friends.

"Who knows? But I'm sure it's something bad," Landon replied.

"We need to tell Ari to stay away from her," Blaze protested, and his friends nodded.

"I will do that after the mission," Lina said.

"Okay, then. Let's just hope she won't do anything stupid," Landon sighed.

"It's a good thing to know you care about the newbie," Hellcat grinned at Landon.

"I don't!" Landon snapped and left.

His friends stared at him till he was out of sight.

“I don't!" Klein mimicked Landon's voice, and they all laughed.

"You should have a death wish if Landon finds out what you just did," Hellcat said after she stopped laughing.

"Whatever," Klein rolled his eyes and left.

"Let's go," Lina told Hellcat and Blaze, and they all went out of the training room together.

“Are you sure the plan is going to work?" I asked Stormy in concern.

"Of course, it will, or do you have a perfect plan of your own?" Stormy snapped.

"No, I don't, so when will I start?" I questioned her.

"Immediately after the clan sets out for the mission, I and Genny are also going, so right now the ball is in your court," Stormy told me.

"But what if they get caught?" I asked with concern.

"You won't be caught, and if you are, don't ever mention my name, 'cause if you do, you won't like what will befall you next, so it's better you keep your mouth shut!" Stormy threatened, and at that time, I wished I didn't agree.

"Okay?" She half-yelled.

"Yes, I will," I replied.

"Better. You can go back to your suites to get ready. Once it's time, I will call you," she said.

"Okay," I replied and left.

The people who were listed for the mission were just seven in number. They were already in their weapon room preparing when Venom came in.

"We will be leaving in the next five minutes, so you guys must be well prepared because, as I told you earlier, the man is a very rich man with tight connections and well-trained boxers which are in every corner of his house. So we must not fail this mission, and we must not be distracted. Is that clear!" He thundered.

"Yes, Captain!" They all chorused.

"Good. Blaze, Lina, and I will be a distraction while Klein and Stormy will be the ones to go inside," Venom said, which got everyone in the remaining clan surprised because they all knew that Klein and Stormy were enemies.

"Captain, please can you change my partner," Klein pleaded.

"Please, cap, because Klein doesn't know how to fight, and he might easily die during the mission," Stormy added, and Klein glared at her.

"No, I won't, so if you know you can't keep up with each other, there's still time for you to leave. Anyone?" He asked coldly, but there was silence.

"Good. Lastly, Landon and Genny will be at the Tech house in case anything goes wrong, so..." He checked his wristwatch.

"It's time. Let's go!" He ordered, and they all went out except for Stormy, who stayed back to call someone.

"Ari, it's time, and you must be very fast, okay?" Stormy whispered.

"Okay, I'll start moving," I replied, and she cut the call.

"Yes! Finally, you are out of my way," Stormy smirked as she went out.

...I hope I'm doing the right thing, I thought inwardly and left my suite. I made my way to the meeting point, my heart racing with anticipation and fear. What if something goes wrong? What if I get caught? I pushed the thoughts aside and focused on the task at hand. I had to escape, no matter what. As I approached the meeting point, I saw Stormy waiting for me.

"Let's go," she said, and we set off towards our destination.
