Reincarnated As An Alien

"Exactly! That's what I'm trying to figure out," Jacob said, his eyes wide with confusion. "Without any doubt, it sounded like Anita's voice. Or maybe it's not Anita who called you, but someone else who wants to help her," he suggested, his brow furrowed in thought.

"But who could that be?" Arianna asked, shaking her head. "Could it be a trap? And why would they use the dead Anita's voice?"

"I don't know, but we need to find out," Jacob said, determination etched on his face. "Let's get inside the hotel and see if we can find any clues."

"I don't think that's a good idea, Anna. You said that Anita was dead, shouldn't we just pray for her safe delivery to the heavens?" Bobby asked, his eyes scanning the surroundings. "If the cult members are planning a massacre, they won't hesitate to kill us too. Also, your father might not rescue you!”

"Are you interested in following us or not? It's not a do-or-die matter, it's a choice," Arianna asked, angry at Bobby complaining.

“Ariana, you know I will always be on your side, but I don't think this is a good idea. Especially since the girl is dead!” Bobby tried justifying his actions.

"She is not dead. Something strange is going on, and the hooded sacrificers might not tell the chief about it,” Arianna moaned. “Bobby, why are you a coward? Don't you want to rescue the innocent victims?” she asked with arched brows.

“Coward? Rescue? Innocent victim?” Bobby sighed with an annoyed look on his face. "Arianna, this has been the tradition for decades. Don't think you can change it, simply because of Jacob's crush.”

Bobby's words cut deep, and Jacob's face reddened with anger. "This isn't about a crush, Bobby. It's about saving lives. Anita's life, and possibly others," Jacob said, his voice firm.

"Oh really? Then why weren't you able to save your family? They were also sacrificed after all,” Bobby asked with furrowed brows, but after asking, he immediately regretted his actions.

Arianna stepped forward, her eyes blazing. "And it's not just about tradition, Bobby. It's about what's right. The Eclipse Messenger's ways are twisted and wrong. We can't just stand by and let innocent people die. You know that Jacob tried his best, if it weren't for him, I wouldn't be alive right now. And sooner than later, this barbaric tradition has to stop.”

Bobby's expression softened, and he sighed. "I know, Ari. But we're talking about going against the chief, villagers, and the entire cult. We could be putting ourselves in grave danger."

"Or we could be saving lives," Jacob countered. "We won't know unless we try."

"I'm going in, with or without you, Bobby. Jacob needs me, and I won't abandon him,” Arianna's voice took on a resolute tone.

Bobby's face fell, but he nodded. "Fine. I'll come with you. But if we get caught or hurt, I'm blaming Jacob."

"Well, that's fair enough," Jacob smiled wryly.

With a deep breath, the trio set off towards the Ku Di Jo Hotel, ready to face whatever lay ahead.

As they approached the entrance, Arianna whispered, "Stay close and stay quiet. We don't know what we're up against."

Jacob nodded, his heart racing with anticipation.

Bobby glanced around, his eyes scanning the shadows. "I have a bad feeling about this."

Arianna pushed open the door, and they slipped inside.

They were expecting a dark and scary atmosphere, but they were greeted by a vibrant and lively party. Lights surrounded the environment, and the loud music banging from the speaker hid the victims’ cries and pleas.

During the sacrifice, a group of people known as keepers celebrate and rejoice, welcoming the demon and goddess to their blood.

The three of them swiftly ran to the receptionist’s table without gaining the attention of the keepers.

The hotel functions like a normal hotel and people who aren't aware of its complicated history still book rooms.

“Your Royal Highness, to what do I owe this surprise visit?” Magna, the receptionist asked with a broad smile.

Arianna looked around to make sure that no one was watching or following her. “What about the other receptionists, dear Manga?” She asked gently.

“They are fine, Arianna. I am the only one on duty today," Manga replied with a smile.

“Humm, that's good," Arianna hummed, wondering how to start the conversation. It wasn't like she didn't trust Manga, but she knew Manga was part of the people who believed sacrificing innocent aliens was normal and a tradition.

Arianna leaned in, her voice barely audible over the music. "Manga, what's going on here? Has the last sacrifice been slaughtered?"

Manga's smile faltered, and she glanced around nervously. "I don't know what you're talking about, Arianna."

"Don't play dumb, Manga," Bobby said, his voice firm. "Every villager knows about the sacrifices. Did any strange thing happen?”

Manga's eyes darted back and forth before she leaned in close. "I don't know much, but I do know that something strange is happening. The chief and the hooded sacrificers are acting strangely, even for them. And there are rumors of a prophecy... one that could change everything."

Arianna's eyes locked onto Manga's. "What prophecy?"

Manga hesitated, before whispering, "I don't know, but it's said to be connected to one of the girls. She's not just any sacrifice… She was rejected and reincarnated after death. I think she's the key to unlocking an ancient power."

Jacob's eyes widened, his mind racing with possibilities. "What do you mean? Has she been killed?"

Manga glanced around nervously again. "I've said too much already. Just be careful, Arianna. The Eclipse Messenger and the keepers will stop at nothing to keep their secrets safe. By the way, the elderly gateman slaughtered her yesterday, but during the cleansing process, she woke up."

With that, Manga turned back to her work, leaving the trio to process the information.

“What does this mean? Who is Anita?" Bobby asked with widened eyes. “This has only happened once, but that time, the lady was not even reincarnated!” He continued his soliloquy.

“I told you she was different. I knew it the moment I spotted her, also the messenger has been keeping an eye on her,” Jacob replied.

"We have to get inside! We need to bring her out!" Arianna announced with a hoarse voice.
